Onward, to monday!
Wow, what a weekend, spent the a fair bit of it just sitting around reading "The Idiot". Good book so far, but I expect no less from the author of "The Brothers Karamazov".
Hmm, as for news, it seems that it's much easier to get Naruto Manga releases if you go right to the source, and don't bother with the middlemen (AHEM, Narutofan). So I finally got caught up on Naruto last night, thanks to the powers of Inane.
Other than that, at cosplay club, I learned of the mythical Fullmetal Alchemist Movie sub. That's right, if you're so hooked on FMA that you have to see the movie Right now a look around torrentspy will provide you with a very crappy version, done by a man, in a theatre, with a video camera. I think I'll pass, but it seems some of the anime addicts at cosplay club just couldn't wait.

Anyway, now is the time for class.

Irresistable!
I guess it was inevitable, me being a CGT student surrounded by my peers who had all bought Adobe CS2. I finally took the 173 dollar plunge, and bought it myself. And dang, am I happy. I finally have a legal copy of Photoshop, that eat my old PS 6 easily, with its creazy brushes, and layer comps, and oh! color modes! Bliss.
I also got my hands on Adobe Illustrator CS2 with it. Finally, after what seems like forever, I have a somewhat more capable vector imaging software. No longer do I have to struggle with FreeHand and its inability to deal with things like transparency. Sheesh.
In short, Student discounts rock. A lot.

Printing
What I really hate, is people in the labs who find it necissary to print out an entire year's worth of notes in one sitting in the freaking computer labs. I do not think they realise that it is quite troublesome to people like me, who have a mere 6 pages to print out, and who do not have the time to sit there, and hope to some higher power that their book of paper leaves enough left in reserve for your own job. argh, makes turning in projects rather hard, being forced onto campus to find a computer lab that works.
