she whispers to the unknown darkness

*....Gravera....leaning one arm on a tree... her shirt stuffed into one side of her jeans wearing nothing but a sports bra and some baggy pants...

A pissed off look rest in her eyes... as she glairs off blankly into the unknown darkness of her backyard...her sleepy dog resting at her feet...her free hand gripped tightly into a fist... her breath...soft...*

*she whispers to the unknown darkness*
though it is night...
the world seems bright as day...
as each star shines in its place...
as if shining for thee...

though...many do not know...
the pain each star feels...
as it small light...
takes a small chiled nightmare away...

the more bad dreams the stars take from children... the more the star becomes dim...

but what if it takes to much...
what happenes to the star then...
does it die... and just durn away...

the stars shine bright this night...
many children sleep safe tonight...
but not I,
no star...will ever take on the burden of my dreams...

*...sliding her hand slowly down the tree till her hand comes back down to her side... her other hand opens slowly...her finger tips stretched to the ground...

she takes a small step...but pauses...and looks out to the unknown darkness... the shadows that linger on...

she whispers to herself as she walks to the unknown darkness..*

Tonight...I will not dream...
Tonight...I am the pain the stars help...
tonight...my star...
burns forever...
