Green Day--Geek Stink Breath

I put up a new theme; hope you like it. I'll probably have another SDK theme next week. I think March will be Gravitation month. Speaking of Gravi, check out my new wallpapers. Lots of people have posted WPs today, so unless you want to wade through them all, just click on my WP link below. :D I'm looking forward to InuYasha This morning. I doubt Fluffy-sama will re-appear so soon, but I was mightily encouraged by last week's glimpse. Today, the cable guy will come and take away the DVR (waah!). I wish I could get satellite because you get so much more for your money...damn apartment living. Tijuana Lady--Gomez

Well, I feel much better today. I'm sorry I didn't post over the weekend or get around to your sites! I'll be rectifying that situation throughout the day, so expect comments! I've also looked at my dA account. There are so many deviations to look at. I'm not sure I'll get to all of those... I'm doing some catch-up grading before class this morning, and I really will post those new WPs tonight (I promise). Book recommendation: We're covering Graham Swift's Waterland in my novel class. If you like challenging narrative, check it out! It has a non-linear structure and mature content. If you can't handle that (or not-ecstatically happy endings) steer clear. EDIT: I can't believe my first SDK wp is so popular. Thanks to all those who downloaded it! But to tell you the truth, I wonder if someone's been hotlinking it. Not that many Kyo fans in these parts that I can see, and not one comment on it. Weird. O.O

   Angelfish--Mummy Can't Drive

Whew! I feel like ass today... cold and stifling at the same time, my head aches--bleagh! Anyway, my manga came yesterday. I've already read through them. I have to say, I like the yaoi from DMP alot. The others (from Be Beautiful) are a mix of angst and smut. Not that there's anything wrong with that(*go, smut! go!*). I was supposed to go to Retrophantasma with my friends tonight. I'm not sure I can make it, though. I just keep collapsing over my desk, wondering if I'll be coherent during class today. ... By the way, I thought I would work up some wallpapers based on some of the Valentine's Day cards I made. I've already made some WPs similar to a couple of them (the Hellsing and the X/1999 ones), so I thought I'd work on the others (Pretear and Gravitation). May not feel like posting them tonight though. Bleagh! Well, enough of that! Sorry for the sucky post.

Garbage--I Think I'm Paranoid

Of course, I know I am (re: the subject line). It's weird that I was the first person to post yesterday; how did you all notice? :D Well, today will be a busy one for me. I must reorganize the syllabus to reflect the drop of Virgin Suicides from the booklist. I'm falling behind by letting students facilitate class. Sometimes, we spend 20 minutes over a topic that I think isn't really being covered that well, so then I have to do damage control, and my plans for the rest of discussion go out the window. *sigh* I'll get around to you all eventually, though! Don't worry!

Late!! Argh!

I'm running two hours late this morning! I mis-set my alarm clock. Finally, when the light in my room became suspiciously bright, I looked at the clock and discovered that it was 8AM! Anyway, I will be getting around to your sites late this afternoon, and a few of you can expect cards. I should have gone ahead and sent them all out last night, but I didn't, and now I just have no time! Well, off to plan for my class! Hope you like the new theme! And, I thought theO was supposed to be fixed by now? I still get errors...

Gravity--Maaya Sakamoto

I'm currently painting my fingernails red. My typing skills (already almost nonexistent) are seriously impaired, so ignore any typos, please! Over on my Deviant Art account, I won a Yami Loni kiriban! I have requested a Bakura theme (hopefully a twist on a Mother Goose Nursery Rhyme--because I'm twisted like that), of course. But then, you all probably have seen some of her eye-dazzling Bakuras before, so you know why! :D I'll probably edit later today, but waiting for my fingernail polish to dry makes typing so excruciating that I'm signing off for now!

TV EYE--Iggy Pop

Well, this totally sucks. I want myO to be back like it should be! Waaaah! Look at this great card Matsuo (SesshTaisho) sent me! I thought I'd share the love! :D I haven't done anything all day long except watch TV, cook, and rip DVDs. Well, I did buy more manga online. I haven't even received the other batch, but I couldn't resist picking up another couple of titles. I'll get to your sites today as Otaku allows!
