Random details of my otherwise boring life...
Yay! My teflon skillet is saved! I love to cook but hate to clean. Well, sometimes food particles tend to stick, even on teflon, so I filled the pan with water, and put it on the burner to boil it off. I walked away and forgot about it *grimace* but figured it out real quick when I detected this funny smell thoughout the apartment. The particles had come off the bottom and broken up, but the water had all steamed off, meaning that I now had this brown burnt sludge glued to the bottom of the pan. I wasn't sure whether it was the food or the teflon. BUT after soaking it a couple of days in water, I was finally able to restore my pan to use. Suffice to say, GrayUndies isn't a whiz in the kitchen. You know where Sano first tastes Kaoru's cooking in Rurouni Kenshin and the two little girls are complaining that it's too spicy? That's me. :D
