Untitled- The Grifter
Here I stand, silent and alone
The night is done, my sins atoned
My face adorned with bloody smirk
Conscience condoned my troubled work
An empty hole inside of me
I fill this void so frivilously
Nothing known can bring her back
For alchemy has changed all that
To play as God, to save just one
I've soiled my hands, I've come undone
This beauty I loved and could not let go
To do such a thing with nothing to show
Clearly to me, a message was sent
Forever in me, to rue and lement
My heart and soul submerged in regret
My only true love, to never forget |

So It Begins-My First Fanfic
I have begun work on my first fanfic. It is set in the future and is based on the Gundam universe. Though this will be it's own story with it's own characters, it will barrow many of the mobile suits from many of the different Gundam series.
I plan to write it in my own way, developing the characters and realationships while not getting lost in alot of technical jargon. I want to be as descriptive as possible without going overboard.
I'm not sure how many chapters this will be as most of you know, I write as it comes to me. I will try to give you the same quality writing as I hope I have in the past. This will tie in to the short story I wrote a little while back called "What Dreams May Come", so it should shed alot of light on just what happened in that valley and how it all came to be.
I hope you all enjoy it as I will be posting the chapters when they are completed. Hopefully , later on I'll add some illustrations so you can better enjoy the story and get to know the characters and the different mobile suits in the story.
I have such a great appreciation for Fanfic writers. Not only do you have to be accurate but you must stay true to the original author's ideas and plans, if you truly want to create something special. I must give a shout out to an amazing fanfic author called Scribe of Figaro. This person is a tremendous talent and if you haven't read this person's work, you should. Here's a link to some of their work. http://www.grey-space.net/kns/fanfic.html

I don't know if they still exist, but I assure you their work will truly live on.
That's it for me. I'll catch you guys later. |

Weener dogs and Well-Wishers
The title of this post has nothing to do with anything. It just seemed like a good way to start.
You see, the idea is for you to be drawn in by the mock promise of hearing about weener dogs galavanting about on unicycles while howling the Star Spangled Banner.
Or perhaps I would delight your senses with the finer points and pagentry of the long good bye's of an uninvited house guest.
Never the less you can rest assured I won't bore you with a long disertation on the proper technique of basting a cornish game hen. I will simply continue providing rich programming and the normal literary works of which you have all come accustomed to.
So in closing, I leave you with this little brain teaser:
If you are traveling at the speed of light, and you turn on your head lights, will they work?
Have a great weekend, everybody.

Won't Be Long Now -From the pen of the Grifter.
I drive alone on a rain slicked road
Hours away from your embrace
So cold in this car, I shiver
Won't be long now
Feelings long for a place
I just want to feel your touch
The thought of your lips sends me
Won't be long now
Eyes strain to see the way ahead
Night and weather can't keep me away
Keep those candles lit
Won't be long now
Clothed in satin, patiently waiting
Warm comfy thoughts drive me closer
All signs point the way to your arms
Won't be long now
Soft and warm brings to light
Finally, my journey done
Rain soaked coat falls to the floor
Blow out the candles and lock the door
Won't be alone now |

To Be In Love
The clocks hands betray me as they move ever forward. They cheat me of my time with you. Every moment seems to last hours yet travels unimpeaded.
With every breath you take I lose three, leaving me panting after your every word. I am held spellbound at the mere movement of your lips. Your smile transforms me and uplifts me. I am pierced and held captive by your gaze. By every loch and curl upon your head, I am ensnared and tangled.
You truly take me to depths I've never been and to places for which my senses may feast. For touch of skin and warmth of sweet embrace, my mind and body race toward. A passion of the ages has enveloped me and sent me soaring from mountain tops. I am floating aloft on wishes and desires that beg for no end. Stay but for a moment longer and let me inhale you, gaining nourishment from your lips of ambrosia and honey. Oh to spend a thousand lifetimes in your company. Surely, I wish to know such a heaven.

More of the same
I finished another wallpaper. I just don't know what's come over me. It's a good thing too, on account of the fact that I have a gnarly case of writers block. My mind just isn't flowing like it was. I guess that's why I've been doing so many wallpapers.
At any rate, I hope you guys don't mind.
Whenever I write, I just let it flow. I don't like to write anything out before hand. I get the feeling to write and just do. I go with the mood I'm in or something that I've seen or heard. I get inspired and start to write.
I hope to be back to my usual self on Monday. I just need to take it easy; it's been really maddening around work lately.
I won't bore you guys with details, suffice to say I need this weekend to recharge.
I'll catch you guys later.

Wallpapers a Plenty
Man, I've been bitten by the creative bug for the last month. I started out with writing stories, then began to write some poetry. Now, I have the desire to create wallpapers. My last few attempts were less than desireable, but I think I have the hang of it.
I've now got four wallpapers to my name and will be adding many more. I've wanted to do Gundam wallies for some time, and now that I have a concept on how to better use my graphics program, I can do them.
I love making them, but fear not, this shall not deter me from writing more poems and stories.
Speaking of which, thank you for all of the wonderful, kind words on your comments. I appreciate all of the feedback from you. They definately spur me to write more.
I also hope you're enjoying the Mech o' the Week. I know alot of you don't fancy that stuff too much but it is a part of who I am as an Otaku resident. So, for those that do, I hope you continue to enjoy the mechs.
That's it for me. Tomorrow should bring another literary work for you to read and hopefully enjoy.
Late. |

The One That Didn't Make It.
I decided to run a wallpaper that I made a while back that I had submitted. This one didn't get accepted. So I'll run it for a few days, then return to my usual bg images of the Grifter.
Please let me know what you think.
Thanks. |

Another Grifter Original Poem. Enjoy.
Sing Me to Sleep
Gentle hush of an evening done
Pale light of the midnight sun
Nothing more to come undone
Sing me to sleep
Confusion and kindness pass this way
Innocence and blindness in disarray
Loving remiders of the day
Sing me to sleep
Quiet and caution dismissed from this place
A soft warm kiss upon this face
Rythem and pulse to slowing pace
Sing me to sleep
Between wishes and dreams protected from harm
In cotton and flesh to find it so warm
To lay before this beautiful form
Sing me to sleep |

An Original Work by The Grifter - Enjoy.
GoodNight
A walk in the clouds.
A view through those eyes
A ride through the stars.
As passions arise
The touch of her hand,
the sound of her voice
The warmth of her breath
An obvious choice.
An evening so clear
For perfection to best
Arms to form cradles
Where this one may rest.
This night I have dreamt
For time to stand still
To speak out confessions
Romances and thrills.
Nothing to stop me
No opportunity to miss
The close of this evening
With a warm summer's kiss. |
