A Call To Arms - The Grifter
Dark and desolate have these days been. Our land lies ravaged and ruined; our cities burned to ash and cinder.
This soil is soaked with the blood of our comrades and loved ones. The very essence of life is being drained from our bodies as we have endured great hardships and sorrows. Yet we press on despite how we may feel or what atrocities we have witnessed. We are vigilant in the knowledge that a better day is coming. We set forth with a hope and a promise that this too shall pass. We have toiled and worried, become frightened and alone. We pray for miricles while we bury our young. We move about like ghosts, wandering from place to place looking for crust of bread and drink of water. However we endure these times, we have whatch helplessly as these, our homes, have been taken from us. We cower in fear as our fathers, husbands and sons are beaten and slaughtered. We hide ourselves in shame as our mothers, wives and daughters are violated and murdered. Shall we stand by as these events continue to unfold with out so much as a care?
This is the day that we stand up and push back. Where we lay down the white flag of regret and surrender and pick up the sword of freedom and cut off the hand that keeps us down. We must rise and bare witness to the coming storm that rages in each of us. The storm that seeks retribution and revenge. The storm that avenges those lost in this apocalypes and lays their spirits to rest at last.
Let us stand in the gap for our fallen brothers and sisters and wipe clean this land of its invaders and all who would bring death and destruction. Let forth, come the strength of ten thousand angels, as we take back our homes, our land, from feilds and meadows to mountains and shores. May we cleanse this filth from our dwellings and churches and rid our land of such pestilence.
To arms, to arms, a call to arms!
Rise up and be counted for this is the hour that we are to forever change this story. We shall be the authors of this tale that shall be heard for generations to come. We do this for the memories of our fore-fathers and the sakes of our children. Our people shall not have gone before us in vein. We shall no longer be the oppressed but shall vanquish those who have oppressed us.
Tear down your banners of fear and raise up the flag of freedom. For we shall not stop and we will not go quietly into the night.
We will stand, we will fight and we will be victorious. Stand tall and strong for this awakened lion shall roar. We may have lost some battles, but we will win this war! Now, let fly our cries of justice and lay waste the dogs of war.
