Crouching Nomad, Hidden Poet
Long time , no verse. My apologies to the whole lot of you for my absence from the this humble abode.
I was in the process of procuring my very first home. I got it!!!
I am now a home owner. wOOt! (that was for you Lytjuh) Yesiree, I'm as happy as a puppy with two...well I'm pretty darned happy.
The House of The Grifter is now a reality with two big bedrooms and two big bathrooms. It's a condo in a medium sized coastal community in So Cal. It was known to be a hot bed for surfing back in the day, as it was sung about by the Beach Boys in the song "Surfin' USA". Well, it still is a hot bed for surfing. The Coup de Gra is that I'm closer to work and to the place where I get all my anime (double wOOt!)
So you can all blame the tedious loan process, escrow and now the moving on my absence here. However, this little slice of Shangrila is now my Shangrila, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Today is part two of moving. I took the day off to finish up and start getting settled in. I offer a thousand apologies to my dear O friends as I won't get to your sites today. I thank you for your understanding as some of you know how tough it is to move your entire existance and all it's crap to another city. Luckily, it's only 15 miles away, but a pain in the ass, none-the-less.
I'll be back tomorrow with new verse and stories to sooth the savage reader. Until then, adieu. |
