The One - From the Quill of the Grifter
To walk alone and see this life
And all it's many grander sights
With some regret, I realize
There is no one by my side

To look upon this life of pain
To see that memories can stain
I have not one to share the gain
True enough, this shall remain

I'd give this heart so bold and true
Seems so much for one to do
In life or death to see it through
To gladly spend with only you

To know there is but one for me
Where she is, I cannot see
A heart reserved for her will be
So I shall wait here patiently
