Life and Times
This is just a standard post today.
I wanted to get you caught up on the latest in the world o' the Grifter.
As it stands, I'm settling in nicely to my new digs. I've started to purchase some artwork for my walls. Blank walls drive me nuts. Come to find out this stuff isn't cheap. No worries, I'll figure something out.
As for this weekend, I plan to build a work bench and overhead cabinets in my tiny garage. It's considered a one car garage; yah, if that car is an Astin Mini. It's pretty rediculous but, at least I have a place to store all of my power tools and varioused sundries.
It's official, my ice hockey team chose me to be their captain. So now I have the coveted "C" on my jersey. Now I can jaw at the referees (I call 'em Zebras) and not get any flack from 'em.
Speaking of hockey, has anyone been watching the Stanley Cup Finals? Man, what a great series this is turning out to be. For the record, I'm rooting for the Hurricanes. The team, not the natural disaster and all around home-wrecker.
I'm thinking about taking some of your advice(to those that gave it) and get some of my writings published. I've never done it before, but I'd like to give it a go. I think Tenchi Kumori has been published a time or two. Check out his stuff, he's quite talented.
Anyway, that's all from the front-lines. I'll be back bright and squirrely on Monday with more ramblings and writings from the quill of
The Grifter.
