Somewhat Late; Worth the Wait?
With all that I've done
And all that I've said
This week is all over
I've come to the end

I'm tired of working
On all that is here
I just want to go home
Perhaps drink a beer

For Saturday means rest
With nothing to do
Spend time with my wife
And get lucky, too

But mostly just chill
Maybe work on some art
And wait in dread
For the next week to start

So a toast to you
My dearest of friends
Drink up and play hard
And have a great weekend
