Peoople can still enter. The contest runs from now till sometime in May. Submitted stuff just needs to be based on a song, blah, blah, blah.

Anyway... sorta random... but if I printed manga or doujinshi, would anyone here buy it? Seriously. I'm so broke now T_T and I can barely pay for school supplies and my apartment and I needs money and my job is barely getting me through everything so I need to find a way to make more money some how. If anyone will actually buy comics or art by me, I'll spend all summer cranking stuff out. If not I'm just getting a second job and hoping retail doesn't kill me T_T

Randomly, I do take commission art work for various prices but I'm currently not taking any because omigawd school eats my brains.

Also, currently working on a pic for o3bakagirlso/Heiwa

A little bit of everything
CONTEST RELATED STUFF--

Thanks to everyone who commented in the last post ^^ So far Kuroneko-sama, Momo, and Purgatory are officially in the contest. Xiao Shen seems interested, but may or may not get to a scanner... so maybe that's 4 people? Technically, no one else needs to participate even if there's just 3 XD;; Since I have 3 prizes...but it's more fun if more people try it, you know?

So, as long as you guys are still interrested, we officially have a contest ^_~

More info XD I bet you guys are sick of this by now, right? *shot dead*

About the prizes XD I'm sure everyone knows what they are by now so I'll stop saying so. Anyway, here's the way they'll be handed out. I'll pick 3 winners (1st-3rd) Whoever is 1st gets to pick out of the prices which one they want. 2nd gets to pick out of the two that are left. 3rd gets whatever is left over ^^; They'll prolly all get mailed out around the same time. Simple enough, right?

What to submit for the contest --

Mentioned this already, but I'll say it again. There's a theme, but it's easy ^_~ All you gotta do is do -something- based on a song. I don't care what song you do. If you aren't sure what song to do I could always suggest one or if you need help choosing between a few, I can help out if you want ^_~

I'm copy pasting most of this bit from my last post because I am a lazy person. You can submit art, wallpapers, fanfiction, whatever. If you aren't sure about what do submit, send me a message or something and I'll tell you if it's okay or whatever.

Again, you can post the things for the contest on this site or another site... you just have to email or PM me... or leave a post on MyO page so I know you've got something.

So, there you have it XD Contest offically starts... erm... whenever XD;; *dies* But it's going to end prolly sometime in May (most likely early May... unless someone asks for an extension. Prolly the 15th or 16th XD because that's when I'll get back from Anime Central. I'm such a nerd *dies*)

New art. Just one, sorry XD; Something I did for class. It's the color sketch of a big project I'm working on now. The bigger one was modified a bit, but is still really simular to the one I posted ^^ And, randomly, the pic was sort of inspired by the song "The Noose" by A Perfect Circle.

Adding people as friends
Alright, for the most part if someone told me they were adding me as a friend I added them back. Now I have so many people on my list I can hardly keep track O_O I tend to add the people who actually talk to me rather than people who don't. Just so you know ^^;

I don't want to offend anyone, but I'm going to be more selective from now on about who I add to my friends list. Nothing personal, I just have too many people on my list now T_T

Also, added a few new wallpapers. Most of them are old layouts for my live journal (so they are pretty simple)


--Still-- working on getting a contest going. Feedback muchly appreciated. If anyone is worried about doing something and not getting the prizes (which is totally understandable) I can tell you I am totally trust worthy ^_~ I can provide Ebay feedback? *dies*

Like mentioned before, I need a few more people to actually tell me they are interested for sure in this contest. I'll give it another week or two. If I don't get enough people, the goodies are going on Ebay (either that, or I'm going to give them to my friend's nephew... he's like... 8? But he likes anime, so I figure why not. Not sure what he'd do with a phonestrap though O_O)


Randomly... I needs a new icon T_T I've got through 4 in the past 20 minutes. ARGH~! I should be studying, not playing with icons ~_~

Contest (again)
Alright, decided on a theme for the contest. I will be going with the song based one (see post below for examples and list of prizes)

the contest won't start until sometime at the beginning of April... and will run until sometime in May (not decided yet, cause, omigawd I'll be busy in May *dies*)

If anyone has questions, post here and/or PM me.

You can submit art, wallpapers, fanfiction, whatever. Just have fun with it XD if you aren't sure about submitting something, send me a message or something and I'll tell you if it's okay or whatever.

You can either post submissions on MyO or email them to me. (if you post them, message me or something so I know about it though XD;;)

I don't really care how many people enter the contest ^^; I just need to get rid of some extra stuff *dies* and that means free anime goodies for you guys XD; But at least 3 people need to enter O_O;; cause I've got at least three prizes....

Contest -- final round for feedback
Posted two new pics if you are uninterested in contest info and are here for art instead.



Alright... once again looking for feedback on running a contest XD More info this time...

First of all, prizes are--

Sasuke (Naruto) capsule toy. (the one lower middle in this image... it looks silly here O_o but it's actually pretty cool)

Riza Hawkey (FullMetal Alchemist) phone strap (which could also be used as a keychain?)--- which I don't have an image of at the moment T_T but it's a Chibi Hawkeye saluting.

Inuyasha manga (first run) volumes one and two.


I've also got tons of posters of various kinds if anyone would rather I use posters for prizes I can list what is available.

If anyone wants art as a prize instead, I could always do an image of your choice (this will probably be done by hand, on a 4x5 1/2 inch card because I don't have time for much anything else T_T too much homework)Could be done in either color pencil, watercolor, or black and white ink/pencil.


As for the contest, you'd have to draw something (probably... if you wanna write something or make a wallpaper, I guess that would work too?)

Like mentioned before, there'd be a theme (cause I like that sort of thing)... I gave it some thought and came up with these ideas~

01.) Do something based on a song. I'll prolly pick a song or two (unless not a lot of people wanna do it T_T then you guys could pick a song XD;;)

Examples =

Song=Stupid Girl

Song= Faggot (I've been denied all the best ultra sex)

Song = Eyes, Radio Lies

And here are a few random song based wallpapers, if you'd rather have that.

Song = By your Side

song = Getting away with murder

Song = Gravedigger

song = my baby shot me down (bang, bang)

Again, references range from obvious to obscure. I do tons of these, so check my wallpaper gallery for more.

Okay T_T most of those were bad examples... but I think you get the idea? The image just needs to be inspired by the song. It doesn't have to be totally related (like the stupid girl image above... which was actualy inspired by the song, but only mostly because I was listening to it at the time), or it could be sort of an obscure reference to the song (like the faggot image above... the song is by mindless self indulgence. The outfit pictures is based on one the singer wore), or a really obvious reference (like the last image, for Eyes, Radio Lies. Which probably isn't as obvious as I wanted T_T but, in the subject matter of the image there's obvious reference to radio?)

02.) Fanart of "x" -- fanart from show or of a character I select. Seems boring T_T But easy enough. If I picked fanart, I'd prolly pick something open to interpretation (such as a book... like Darren Shan or Harry Potter... there's an HP movie, but you could still draw the characters however you felt like)...
If I picked a specific character, it'd prolly be one of my own (probably Rubi... because I'm a whore like that XD; and I post enough pics of him that everyone should know who he is by now)


03.) image based on an emotion - okay, this sounds really weird, right? But I'm doing it in class and it was actually fun XD we were supposed to do an image that was meant to express an emotion without being really obvious about it. If anyone actually likes this idea, I'll explain it further. I have no example as my image for class won't be done till tonight XD; but perhaps I could post it then?


and that's it so far *shot dead* I'm open to suggestions though?

ARGH!
Why is the English dub for Saiyuki Reload so bad? Damn Geneon! *shakes fist* Sanzo's voice in english makes my ears bleed now T_T

So~ Crais is staying with my in my apartment for the time being XD; He was serving as a model for a project I was doing, but I've since changed the gender of the person in the drawing so he'll get to go home this weekend and Sylvie will stay with me instead XD *laughs*
I took like an assload of new photos of him T_T but I lost the attachment for my camera and can't upload the pics to my computer *cries*

Anyway, thinking about running some kind of contest and giving our PRIZES! What do you guys think? Prolly submit arts of somekind related to some theme I'll randomly think of... (but I see not everyone likes to draw XD; so maybe wallpapes and various graphics also?)

Both were purchased in Japan when I went last August, so you can't get them in the US unless you grab them off of ebay of happen to find them at a con.

I've also got the Inuyasha manga vol 1-2. I've been trying to give them to friends but no one wants it T_T I bought them for reference for some commission art I did a while back and don't need them anymore *dies*

So~ What do you guys think? Would you so be all about it or could care less? *laughs*

If no one wants to, I'm just throwing the goodies up on ebay ^^;
