Contest -- final round for feedback
Posted two new pics if you are uninterested in contest info and are here for art instead.



Alright... once again looking for feedback on running a contest XD More info this time...

First of all, prizes are--

Sasuke (Naruto) capsule toy. (the one lower middle in this image... it looks silly here O_o but it's actually pretty cool)

Riza Hawkey (FullMetal Alchemist) phone strap (which could also be used as a keychain?)--- which I don't have an image of at the moment T_T but it's a Chibi Hawkeye saluting.

Inuyasha manga (first run) volumes one and two.


I've also got tons of posters of various kinds if anyone would rather I use posters for prizes I can list what is available.

If anyone wants art as a prize instead, I could always do an image of your choice (this will probably be done by hand, on a 4x5 1/2 inch card because I don't have time for much anything else T_T too much homework)Could be done in either color pencil, watercolor, or black and white ink/pencil.


As for the contest, you'd have to draw something (probably... if you wanna write something or make a wallpaper, I guess that would work too?)

Like mentioned before, there'd be a theme (cause I like that sort of thing)... I gave it some thought and came up with these ideas~

01.) Do something based on a song. I'll prolly pick a song or two (unless not a lot of people wanna do it T_T then you guys could pick a song XD;;)

Examples =

Song=Stupid Girl

Song= Faggot (I've been denied all the best ultra sex)

Song = Eyes, Radio Lies

And here are a few random song based wallpapers, if you'd rather have that.

Song = By your Side

song = Getting away with murder

Song = Gravedigger

song = my baby shot me down (bang, bang)

Again, references range from obvious to obscure. I do tons of these, so check my wallpaper gallery for more.

Okay T_T most of those were bad examples... but I think you get the idea? The image just needs to be inspired by the song. It doesn't have to be totally related (like the stupid girl image above... which was actualy inspired by the song, but only mostly because I was listening to it at the time), or it could be sort of an obscure reference to the song (like the faggot image above... the song is by mindless self indulgence. The outfit pictures is based on one the singer wore), or a really obvious reference (like the last image, for Eyes, Radio Lies. Which probably isn't as obvious as I wanted T_T but, in the subject matter of the image there's obvious reference to radio?)

02.) Fanart of "x" -- fanart from show or of a character I select. Seems boring T_T But easy enough. If I picked fanart, I'd prolly pick something open to interpretation (such as a book... like Darren Shan or Harry Potter... there's an HP movie, but you could still draw the characters however you felt like)...
If I picked a specific character, it'd prolly be one of my own (probably Rubi... because I'm a whore like that XD; and I post enough pics of him that everyone should know who he is by now)


03.) image based on an emotion - okay, this sounds really weird, right? But I'm doing it in class and it was actually fun XD we were supposed to do an image that was meant to express an emotion without being really obvious about it. If anyone actually likes this idea, I'll explain it further. I have no example as my image for class won't be done till tonight XD; but perhaps I could post it then?


and that's it so far *shot dead* I'm open to suggestions though?
