Movies...
Today, I will be your guide as we talk about 'The Movies'!
Ah, yes, I have so many movies that I just adore (Of course, Bionicle, Naruto, Star Wars, and so many others)
The Bionicle movies--I got so high on Bionicle in 2004...I needed to see a paramedic. Just kidding. Actually, I got this hunger with Bionicle (and I regretted not knowing about it earlier). So, when I had the chance to see Bionicle: Mask of Light on Cartoon Network in the fall of 2004...I not only took the chance to see it; I TAPED it!!! The same goes with the Bionicle 2: Legends of Metru Nui. I taped that also. I wanted them to show Bionicle 3: Web of Shadows, but as far as I have seen, they haven't. I did borrow the DVD from one of my brother's friends (twice, actually), and I daresay that the third is the best out of three. It's the darkest out of the three, but it's filled with this nice suspence and it ultimately has a good movie. But all three are good. Bionicle was the first LEGO product franchise that was made into a movie, and I daresay they did do a good job! ^_^
What I'm disapointed in is that they're not going to make any more Bionicle movies...for the time being, anyway.
Naruto--Okay, I will admit that I have only been a Naruto fan since lat summer/early September of 2006. I wouldn't have seen the movies, if it weren't for chibisasukelover (yeah, thank chibisasukelover, everybody, otherwise I wouldn't be typing this here! I'll tell you how she got me hooked on Naruto some other time)
Anyway, as far as I've heard, they've made three movies, a fourth one coming out later this year in Japan. I've only seen the first two, though (they have yet to put the third one on, and I would live to see that very much! <_<)
The first Naruto movie (Naruto the Movie: Snow Princess' Book of Ninja Arts, or just plain Naruto the Movie, as I like it best)
The stars are, of course, Naruto Uzumaki, Sasuke Uchiha, Sakura Haruno, and Kakashi Hatake(yayness!) The basic plot is they have to bodyguard a famous movie actress, who potrays as Princess Fuun, to the Snow Country. They soon realize, however that she is a real princess that she is the target of the now-ruler of the Snow Country who murdered her father and burned the palace to gain the throne. There's a lot more, but I suggest seeing the movie so that you'll at least see how good it is...without me spoiling. Out of the two I've seen so far, the first one is the best (that would be my opinion, though, since that is my favorite Naruto movie) ^_^
The second movie, believe it or not, has warriors that were very similar to knights. (I only watched this movie last night with my brother, and we only got half-way through, because it was so late) While we watched, My mouth dropped as I exclaimed, "Those are knights! There are knights in Naruto!" O_O
High-tech, knights, anyway.
Gaara also makes a good appearance too; my brother enjoyed him the best, I think. That, or the ferret. Probably both.
Ah, so many movies that I've loved since I was little...I have so many Disney movies, too! ^_^
Two of my most favorite, and my dad's favorite, old movies are The Great Race, and Chitty-Chitty Bang-Bang. Those are our favorite, family-time oldies. ^_^
Well, I hope you've enjoyed (and survived) this long exclaimation of my favorite movies. So long!
