Note to self: Get more titles. XD
Recently a teacher, a garbage collector, and a lawyer wound up together at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter informed them that in order to get into Heaven, they would each have to answer one question.
St. Peter addressed the teacher and asked, "What was the name of the ship that crashed into the iceberg? They just made a movie about it." The teacher answered quickly, "That would be the Titanic." St. Peter let him through the gate.
St. Peter turned to the garbage man and, figuring Heaven didn't REALLY need all the odors that this guy would bring with him, decided to make the question a little harder: "How many people died on the ship?" Fortunately for him, the trash man had just seen the movie and answered, "about 1,500." "That's right! You may enter."
St. Peter then turned to the lawyer. "Name them."
And another:
A man arrives at the gates of heaven. St. Peter asks, "Denomination?" The man says, "Methodist." St. Peter looks down his list, and says, "Go to room 24, but be very quiet as you pass room 8."
Another man arrives at the gates of heaven. "Denomination?"
"Lutheran."
"Go to room 18, but be very quiet as you pass room 8."
A third man arrives at the gates. "Denomination?"
"Presbyterian."
"Go to room 11, but be very quiet as you pass room 8."
The man says, "I can understand there being different rooms for different denominations, but why must I be quiet when I pass room 8?"
St. Peter tells him, "Well the Baptists are in room 8, and they think they're the only ones here.
LOL. ^_^
Yeah, I changed my background recently, because for some reason, my Bionicle virtues background *plays dramatic music* DISAPPEARED. O_O
Duhn, duhn, duuuuhn.
Oh well, I've got another background now that I like too. ^_^
Oh, I finally got a letter from Miss Anne today! ^0^
I hope we'll see her, David and little Lizzie and Joseph! *0*
I sent (through via PM on BZPower) Uchiha Seraphim my fanfic, and he said it was awesome. Quote on quote: "Great, really great! I'm impressed that you managed to write something of this caliber. Really. There are a couple of places that could've been better though...like where there's just description. But this isn't an epic, so I suppose some parts had to be compressed."
He also sent me a Naruto fanfic of his own, that takes 100 years after the known storyline, and it was very interesting and I liked it a lot! ^_^
So, Uchiha Seraphim, if you read this, I'm really happy you enjoyed my fanfic, and I enjoyed yours as well. ^_^
15 PAGES OF WRITING! My hands should be numb by now, I guess! O_O
I hope more people will read it in the future, though...<_<
Anyway, we (Dad, Kogatana, and I) went to the Flea market. They had tomatoes there 50 cents a bag! 50 CENTS! So, we bought 10 bags, and when I explained to my mother (on the phone, since she went to work), she was shocked and really happy.
I played more of Ultimate Ninja today, and guess what? I am now an official chunin! ^0^
And I have unlocked Curse Marked Sasuke! The great thing about him as that he's always power-enhanced and has incredible speed. The down side is that he has only one secret technique, while the rest of the characters (including his normal state) has three with the chakra levels.
Oh well.
I am now well on my way to becoming a special jounin (and THEN a real jounin)!
And I got this game in January...cool, huh?
And we (Kogatana and I) just now watched the newest Naruto episode on Toonami. ^_^
Hey, at least they didn't cut out much blood when young Sasuke sees his parents slain right in front of his eyes.
Oh yeah...dub comparisons. Listen to Dr. Hahli as she goes with you through the world of subs...
*Ahem* Every time I go on YouTube or any other website, for that matter, to watch a peaceful episode of the English dub of Naruto, there's always at least this one person who will say: "ENGLISH NARUTO SUCKS!!!"
Oh, yeah, there's always that one person who will type that.
Here's some good advice for you types of people that do that: JUST SHUT UP!!! You keep on ruining the moment for everyone else who DOES like the English dub of Naruto (me being one of them). Okay, you don't like the English dub, and that's fine. But then...WHY WERE YOU WATCHING IT IN THE FIRST PLACE?! You people who keep on doing that should learn to keep your opinions to yourselves. Be openminded and think about all the other people that might engoy watching this version of Naruto.
And, comparing the English dub with a few other languages, I'd feel as though you should be lucky that most of the voices sound similar to the original Japanese dub! I've listened to Romanian, French, and I've heard about the German version. Let me just tell you that out of all of those, the English dub is definatly closest to the real thing.
I like the Japanese dub, and I like the English dub as well. Whatever language you speak, you should be grateful you're watching the episode at all! ><
For you guys who keep on posting those comments on the English dub, I have one tip for you: STOP WATCHING THE EPISODE AND DON'T SAY ANYTHING!!! You don't like it? Then don't watch it! Nobody has to argue into something as small as that! The Engish dub and Japanese dub are more similar than you think.
That's all I've got to say about that...
Oh, BTW, for those of you who complain that they've cut out the violent parts in the English dub? There ARE English episodes, online, that are unedited. That's right. None of bloody parts are edited out (I'm not sure about cursing...I think that's in it too, from what I've heard). And, it also has the orginal openings and endings of the Japanese episodes.
The bad part: They're split into parts. Hey, but that's not too bad.
So, stop complaining about too much blood being edited out and so on, just go on YouTube and watch it, for pete's sake! <_<
And for you lazy ones who can't find it...;D
Here's the URL link to the first episode:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFcfmmtVGg4
And you can just go on for there.
And for those of you who don't wanna watch it on YouTube...*chuckles*
I'm feeling generous today, so here's the first UNEDITED English dub episode of Naruto. ^_^
