   The Morning After :-P (well, not actually, but...)
Well, I am no longer in the top 10 rated artists. My overall rating is down to 76 from its peak at 79. That's fine though, it was completely to be expected. It was fun while it lasted though! I really never thought I would get in the top 10. Wow... that was cool. =)

I entered that FLCL pic I was talking about before. I like it but, it's not one of my best. I don't know if it will increase or decrease my overall rating percentage. I hope it does ok.

BUT:
I just felt like drawing last night and I was thinking of what to draw and I started drawing Kikyo and Inuyasha. Well, the drawing part (it's not colored yet) is done and it looks sooo cute! I really love it! I was just drawing for fun, I wasn't expecting it to turn out so good, but it did. I like it so much. ^_^ I just hope that coloring it makes it look better not worse. I'm crossing my fingers on that, because I think it's pretty much perfect how it is now. But I still want to color it. I'll start doing that as soon as I get off the computer. I know you guys will like it. :D I think it will bring my rating up a bit.

Oh my God, I must be dreaming. I can't really be on the top 10 highest rated artists list, can I? I keep checking it over and over, cuz I just can't believe it... but I'm there... number 7. Holy crap! Well I guess I had better get over the shock and enjoy it while it lasts. Thanks to everyone who voted for my pictures! I owe you guys! =D

   Umm...
Well, not much to say. Just real tired today. But, since school ended early, I decided to skip going out with friends and take a long nap instead. (Sometimes I feel like an old woman. lol :P) Now that I'm rested I think I'll start another drawing tonight. Usually when I start a drawing I can't stop until it's finished, so I'm sure you'll see it posted here soon. ...That's all for now.

   Update
So, my Tenchi Muyo pic has been posted. Thanks to all who voted on it, I'm glad most of you seem to like it. :)(Even though I'm bummed the title of it says "Tanchi & Ryoko". TANCHI!? Stupid typo! >:( )
I did manage to finish that Inuyasha picture I mentioned last post. I submitted it today, so it should be up soon. It didn't quite turn out as cute as I'd imagined it. But it's not bad.
Next I want to draw a FLCL pic. I'm trying to do drawings of a variety of anime. Ooh, I should do a Cowboy Bebop one too. (Hmmm...) The bad thing is that I don't know when I'll have time to draw them. :( I'll have to try my best to make some time.

   Thanks!

Yay! I'm happy because since I put up my Sesshoumaru pic I have gotten lots more visits to my site and many more comments too. Thanks guys! ^_^

So yesterday I started a new pic in the evening and spent all night finishing it up. It's a Tenchi Muyo pic and I submitted it this afternoon so hopefully it'll be up tomorrow. I kinda had trouble with it, but I still think it came out alright; though there are some mistakes. -_- So, look for that pic soon, I guess.

I think that now I'll start another picture. There are tons of Inu Yasha fans here (including me!), so that's what I'll draw. (I have an idea of exactly what I want the pic to look like, but I'm not gonna say yet. ^_~ I will say that if I do this right, it should be really really cute!) Hopefully I can get it done before Monday because that's my first day back to school after spring break and I won't have much drawing time after that. :(

   Thank Goodness!
Praise the Lord, my Sesshoumaru fanart has been submitted! I swear- I must have attempted to send that thing in 100 times. WTH? Well, the important thing is that it's in. Once it's posted (assuming it gets that far :)) please vote for it! And comment too! Even if you don't care for my drawings, votes and comments are always appriciated! And if you have tips to make my art better- tell me! That's why I wanted to put my art on here: to get feedback.

Which brings me to the subject of my guestbook. I got another signature! Thank you fizz, who is also my first otaku friend. Let her be an example to the rest of you. (;P, haha)

   good news bad news
So yesterday night I was on the internet and I found some really cool pictures of Sesshomaru. That motivated me to try and draw him. I did that today and it came out really cool (in my opinion at least!). That's the good news.

The bad news is that I am having the hardest time trying to submit it. I tried like 50 times and it keeps saying the file is too big, or freezing my computer, or getting an error message. So now that I've been driven crazy by that, I have decided to give it a rest until tomorrow. That means I'll have to wait longer to get it "published" on the site, but oh well.

Which reminds me- I see that my Back to Back Goku color art has been posted already. I'm glad, though not many people usually seem to rate my art (only about 5 on average), which kinda sucks. I finally got my first comment today too (thank you, the fizz!!!). I don't know how some people's art can have hundreds of votes.

Well, I wrote a lot, and I know no one reads this anyway, so...

   spring cleaning
I was cleaning up old computer files and I came across an old post I wrote for a DBZ message board. The board's topic was: which stage of Gohan is your favorite? My answer was:

I like Gohan all the time ;). I like him in each of his stages of life for different reasons.

Little boy (Saiyan Saga): Ohh! He's soo cute! And as the first half-Saiyan, he's very intriguing because we have no idea what his true ability is.

Boy (Frieza Sagas): Gohan starts to grow out of his cry-baby stage and shows he can keep up with the rest of the Z-fighters. But Gohan still has his innocence.

Pre-teen (Cell Sagas): Gohan has really toughened up by now. And when Gohan defeats Cell- it's got to be the single greatest moment of all Dragonball [/Z/GT].

Teen (High School): He has changed so much. Without his dad Gohan has turned pretty soft. But he's nice, polite, smart, cute, still in amazing shape... what more could a girl want?

Saiyaman: Oh gosh, Saiyaman is so corny. But he's so hillarious; how could anyone dislike him? And at least Gohan has gotten into fighting evil again. (Even if it is on a way smaller scale.)

Mystic Gohan: Seeing Mystic Gohan is so interesting because it's like we're getting a taste of the kind of fighter Gohan had the potential to become. With all that power, Gohan regains his confidence and love for battle. It's good to see this side of him again.

   spring break!!!
I hope everyone had a happy Easter!

So as I begin my final spring break of high school, I attempt to plan my week. So far my to-do list includes: do some major thinking and researching about college, practice my band music, clean up my room a bit, yada, yada, yada, and get at least 1 new fan art put up on my site. I'm thinking it would be fun to start a Tenchi Muyo pic, or I could just finish an old DBZ drawing. We'll see.

So, haven't updated in a while. I've been busy with school and such. This week I found out that I was accepted to the college of my choice, so I'm happy (and relieved!) about that.

Man, I want to post up my colored version of my back to back Goku fanart, but I still haven't finished the background. I don't know what kind of design I want. It's like writer's block, but with art.
