.....
....really sad and upset and crying my eyes right as I type this...one of our cats, who has been sick for a while; not eating, drinking or anything...we...had to put him down just a few minutes ago...

Wasn't even old...just seemed to develop some sort of liver problem and he just...starting wasting away bit by bit...from a big, strong, muscular cat to barely anything but fur and bones in just a few short weeks...we just wanted to end any silent suffering he was going through and let him go peacefully...it doesn't do anything to lessen the pain, sadness, and guilt over not being able to do anything to help him.

This only makes me wonder how there can be people out there who are so cruel to any animals; pets or not. People with pets are usually very lucky to have them and the pets are too, whether raised from birth, adopted, or taken off the streets, it's such a wonderful experience to have...

So to anyone out there with pets of any kind...please treasure all the time you have with them, no matter how long or short it may be...love them, respect them, and treat them as you would your own family...and always remember them and the moments you spent together to the last.
