   Hi all
Well my holiday is going well, iv been out to the gym twice, been shopping, played alot of oblivion etc. Iv also been planning for the PC I want to build. We need a new PC because although my PC isnt quite obsolete yet, my old one which my bf is currently using has really seen its day. After all, it wasnt new when I got it in 2003 so I think its held up reasonably well. So ill build a new one and he can have my current one ^_^ plus a RAM upgrade.

We seem to accumulate other peoples old computing equipment so we'r ok for speakers, monitors, keyboards and mice. So far all Iv bought is the case, which I bought off the shelf instead of online because I happened to see the exact one I wanted. New PC bits make my bank balance cry T_T but its worth it ^_^

   Its finally over!
I had my last exam yesterday! w00t, yay for me ^_^ its so nice to be able to surf the Internet without worrying im losing time for revision. I think on the whole it went pretty well, apart from maths T_T ill hopefully pass, otherwise ill be back doing it in the re-takes in september.

Now I have a whole month off before I start work ^_^ I would have started earlier but thats when they want me. So ill probly go to the gym this afternoon.

So, ill hopefully have time to do some more drawing, and buy a scanner!

final week of exams
Well here it is, my last 2 exams are today and tomorrow. In 2 hours time ill be sitting down to my maths exam, for which I am not confident at all, im going to scrape through by the skin of my teeth, if im lucky.I really dont want to fail T_T maybe I should have revised more? Maybe I ought to be revising now? But then what I dont know now I wont be able to teach myself in 2 hours. Im not so concerned about business tomorrow, I think that one will be ok.

Also, I got a new pair of glasses a couple of weeks ago cuz I noticed my glasses wernt strong enough. I was just cleaning them this weekend and the metal just snapped in my hands! Now glasses are expensive! Especially if like me your eyesight is really bad and you have to get the lenses thinned! So im going to go back and complaine and hopefully theyl give me new frames. grrrr.

hmm well thats about it, im sick and tired of exams and revision now. Ill be quite happy once its all over. Then im going to be spending a lot of time at the gym since being sat at home revising has ment I havnt been able to get any exercise so iv put on weight. boo T_T

   I miss the outside
Well its Thursday now and i havnt properly been outside since monday, oh well the computer networks exam is tomorrow thatl give me a chance to go out. Im no where near as confident about it as I was about the other exams though. And I keep putting off maths, iv got one more thing to revise then its just learning the rules, and the exam is on monday. Im pretty sure ill be able to brush up on business enough but im not confident at all about the other 2. And I just cant seem to find the motivation to revise, although I got quite a bit done yesterday. I also found out I got 70% for a peice of coursework I did yay ^_^ so I was pretty pleased with that. I aim to try and get 70% or higher in everything, it doesnt always happen but its good to have a goal I think.

Hmm well thats about it, I really feel like going shopping, mmmmm, retail theropy.... No there will be plenty of time for that later. Now focus.

   Still revising.....
Yes iv passed the halfway mark with just 3 exams left to go. But still revising.... Im afraid iv burnt myself out last week because I made a big push to revise everything for my electronics exams and this week its difficult to get into it. But I think now im just going to have to knuckle down to it and finish maths so I can get on with the last 2 subjects.

Just got to remember in a weeks time itll all be over, then I can go outside again! Iv been cloistering myself away at home, which cant be good. The sunlight, it burns! er, *ahem*

In better news; iv drawn a new picture im really pleased with :-) but still cant scan it :-( must get a new scanner.

ok back to maths now, must not get distracted.

   Hi all

Thankyou to everybody who visited my picture, your comments were really constructive! The way I made the texture on the coat was I filled it all in one colour then changed the paint brush to a sort of cross hatch shape and made the colour a bit darker then went over it again. It came out a bit more pixalated then I had hoped but all in all im pretty pleased with it.

Apart from that im still plodding along with exams, theyr going pretty well so far.

Also im thinking of building a new PC, I put together a list of components on ebuyer but it can be difficult not to get carried away ^_^

Just for fun I thought id see what the most expensive PC I could build out of bits from ebuyer was, it came to almost £40,000 lol. Although £20,000 of that was an industrial printer and it did include 4 40" widescreen TFT monitors. Ahhh if I won the lottery.....

And I have a summer job now ^_^ Yay, but I dont start untill June.

   More revision today
Hi all

Revising again today for the software exam tomorrow. I got out my notes I wrote up on the lectures and went high-lighter crazy XD so iv done pretty much all I can do I think, shy of doing the practical exercises again.

Well apart from that iv been revising the other subjects but I think electronics and PC tech are going to have to be my top priority now since theyre both next week T_T

Since my scanner is up the spout iv decided to colour my 'rebel fighter' picture. No fill effects this time, im going for the more "hand carved look" (to borrow morbo's words!) apart from great swathes of picture that need to be all the same shade of pink or something, ill fill them! :-p

Apart from all that my boyfriend and I have been playing the latest chapter of Guildwars (an MMORPG) Guildwars: Factions. It introduces 2 new classes the assasin and the ritualist. I was tempted to try one of the new classes but decided against it because I thought that probably everybody would be playing as the new classes. And surprise surprise I was right, we walked into an outpost and all you could see was assasin ritualist assasin ritualist assasin ritualist assasin assasin assasin assasin.

Speaking of the Internet some of you guys asked about our connection speed. So ill prattle on about that for a bit ^_^ you see the thing is we signed up to Blueyonder from telewest at our old place which we were sharing. We got 1MB cuz we were planning to share it between 3 PCs and 2 Xboxes (later only 1 Xbox) and since my boyfriend wanted to play Halo2 on Xbox live we got 1MB cuz aparently it lags at lower speeds.

Then blueyonder told us they were giving all of their customers a free upgrade. Im guessing that was a bit of a PR stunt but im not complaining ^_^ ive been told the recent crash in the price of bandwidth has been fueled by the likes of BT who laid down fibre optics like they were going out of fashion during the .com bubble. And now the actual use is nowhere near what was predicted (nobody has put their fridge online yet!) so theres all this spare bandwidth sloshing around.

Anyways when we moved since the internet was in our name we were able to transfer it over, free upgrade and all. Which has all worked out rather well and now we get our phone and a few digital TV channels from them aswell. But wev never had any problems with them so blueyonder get a thumbs up ^_^

Hi everyone!

Well its finally happened, our flat is finished! The builders are gone, the PCs are set up properly (with 4MB internet ^_^ *weeps*) and iv actually been able to do some drawing over the easter hols! I was begining to think I wasnt even going to be able to remember how to hold a pencil! So there I was all ready to scan in my new picture and THE SCANNER DOESNT WORK! I think at that point the red mist came down and everything else is history, well it looks like my scanner is anyway. Curse you cheapy scanner T_T probly didnt survive the move.

Anyways so it looks like im going to need a new scanner, im not too concerned though, iv seen some pretty reasonable ones.

Hmm, so what else is new? well we went to france over easter with my family, that was fun ^_^ and I now have a month of exams that im revising for. Starting with software next wednesday, I think im ok for software since I had a software assignment to so over easter and have written up notes on all the lectures. Maths and Electronics are the subjects im most concerned about. Computer networks, Business and PC technologies should be ok but I ought to brush up on them anyway.

Hope all you guys had a good easter, I spent the 1st week doing my software assignment and getting the rest of the flat unpacked and set and cleaned etc. Then my boyfriend and I ran an ethernet cable to the study so we can have the Internet to our PCs. Blueyonder gave us a free upgrade from 1MB broadband to 4MB which was cool. Then the 2nd week we were in France we went to disneyland and parc asterix and to the champaigne cellers. And generally had a great time. My boyfriend and I took my little brother and sister on the pedellos at the lake at the campsite we were staying in, that was funny ^_^ Then I spent the last week finishing off my software assignment. I had one error that took me days to fix, turned out id put one three letter word in the wrong place T_T this is why I hate programming.

And now im back to revision but it seems to be going pretty well. Oh and job hunting for the summer, iv got one thing thats looking promising, maybe, hopefully....

Also has anyone else played oblivion? its just amazing! its huge! Its the sequal (sort of) to morrowind. Although my PC is getting a little bit dated now and struggles a bit with it. But if I can get a job then maybe I can save up and build a new one ^_^ But its still worth playing even with all the graphics turned down.

My boyfriend and I have also been back on guildwars, turns out that we were only 2 missions away from completeing the main campaigne! But no sooner do we get back on then we find out our guild (guildwars name for a clan) is disbanding T_T ah well nevermind. looking forward to the sequal to that aswell.

Um well thats about that, ill be posting art again as soon as I can get meself a new scanner or fix the old one (but I think its died a death) and with any lucky will be visiting more now aswell ^_^

Hey all!
Hiya! Well its been another long break since I last posted, its been a really manic month. Our flat is very almost finished, but I still dont really have my PC set up, or my scanner! But iv been so busy at uni I really havnt had time to draw T_T I miss it, with any luck I should be able to get back to drawing over the easter hols (woohoo!)
