I got a new laptop!
Yaaay! Im talking to you from my shiney new laptop ^_^ its a toshiba tecra s1, Intel centrino 1.4Ghz, 512MB ram, 32MB ATI graphics & 40GB hard drive. Which isnt bad seeing as it cost my £425. Actually its not brand new, I bought it off of ebay. Which was of course a bit of a risk but it seems to have paid off ok ^_^
I was a little concerned at first bacause it seemed to be making rather a lot of noise and crashing quite frequently. Luckly I managed to catch the error message before it rebooted and checked it on google. Google told me it was likly to be a problem with the RAM. So, as it had been posted I decided to open it up and check the RAM modules hadnt slipped out at all. They seemed pretty secure but i took them both out, blew out a bit of dust and put them back in. And Voila! My laptop runs sweet as a nut ^_^
So now im just making it how I like it, next thing to do will be to check how well some of my games run. Oh, but of course ill only be useing it for serious, uni work releated things, ofcourse ^_~
Apart from that, im still working on that picture! its about 3/4 coloured now so almost ready to scan and post.
Well thats about all for now ^_^
