Review: Tony Hawk's Underground 2
This is an excellent game, not because it has gore, or has tons of Hollywood A-list VA work, or even being a glammy, yet solid Japanese RPG, it's excellent because it's really fucking funny.
The cinematics in the story mode are hilarious, the dialogue is well-written, and the sight-gags are good.
The skating gameplay is ho-hum THPS style, but fuck all that, as soon as you put in the disc, make yourself a little character, get off the board when the game starts, admire the scenery, admire NPCs and your li'l guy, and then TOTALLY FUCKING DESTROY EVERTHING LITTLE FUCKING THING IN YOUR FUCKING SITE!
HIT PEOPLE WITH SHRIMP!
TORTURE MIMES!
COMMIT DASTARDLY ACTS OF VANDALISM!
RUN AROUND AND PLASTER EVERYTHING WITH GRAFFITI AND METALLICA STICKERS!
LISTEN TO THE DOORS WHILE DOING SO!
This is the closest we're gonna get to Jackass: The Game, so fans of that brillaint series and brillanter film will love it,
