A real post today
because i have nothing to do at the moment ^^' it's been a while since i posted a long entry like this... i can't decide which way i like more. yeah.. ^^'

Tsumetai Hikari
ok, i think i might have a favorite pura song at the moment... probably won't stay my favorite for more than a week or two, but yeah, i like it... i'm listening to it on repeat song as i type... ^^' i think i will memorize the lyrics to it... even tho i can't sing XD hahaha i love this song so much... i will soon be getting the subbed pv to this one, thanks to michelle in my art club. she said she found their silent movie too!! hehe. i'm sure the tsumetai hikari PV will be as beautiful as the song.... partly because i've seen screencaps, but yeah ^^'

it's too bad my parents hate all things pura, because if they weren't in the current mindset of "if it has to do with plastic tree, it is bad," then they might actually like this one. actually i think their idea is that "if it's jrock, it's bad" or what not. and oh yeah, no one in my family recognizes taroukun as a guy. of course, they say that about a lot of jpop/jrock people... ^^' the other thing is that my sister calls all of them ugly... except for the ones that really ARE girls... she's into the idol pop group type of thing i guess. and OMG she thinks MIYAVI is ugly. of ALL people in the world, MIYAVI?! that's crazy. she says the same thing about taroukun... that and she doesn't like taroukun's voice o_O;; that's what i like most about him!! haha.

Wallflower + cross
i went to borders today because i had all these gift cards from christmas and i bought 2 volumes of wallflower (yamatonadeshiko shichihenge) and the first volume of cross. so far i've only finished cross, which is a really good series about a guy who is an exorcist... hehe, when i saw the cover i was like "O_O he's cute" lol. but yeah... it was a good first book, and i can't wait to see what happens between him and shizuha... hehe.

i haven't started wallflower yet, but the guy on the cover looked like a jrocker, so (of course) i picked it up, and found the back of the book quite interesting. it's about these four guys who have to turn sunako nakahara into a proper lady so that they can stay in a mansion for 3 years. i read a few pages and decided i liked it... for a few reasons actually.

1 - really really cute chibis..... especially the pic of sunako on the back of book 1... although she kind of looks like sadako (ringu)... >>

2 - haha i feel so silly saying this but... those four guys are really bishounen... +_+ especially the one with the black hair... he reminds me of ryuutarou... hehe. maybe i'm just imagining things because of my complete obsession with him, but to me he really does look like him... now that my scanner is working i will scan in a picture if i can... ^^

3 - i love the author's art style... when i saw the cover, besides thinking "that guy looks like a jrocker" i was like... omg, i've wanted to draw like that forever!! heeh. it's like semi-realistic and what not... the hair is so beautiful... the eyes too... *stares at the covers of my books* it would be nice to color like that too... ^^'

I'll
yeah... bought that today. my mom looked at it and was like "the title is 'I'll?? what type of name is that??" haha. actually the full title would be "I'll / CKBC" which stands for "I'll / Crazy Kouzu Basketball Club" which makes it more weird i guess? i dunno. it's about two rivals who end up going to the same school so they have to play basketball together. it's based on a manga that's 10+ volumes, compressed into a 2 episode series so it probably isn't the greatest, but for $14 it's not bad ^^ i've yet to watch the episodes, i've been listening to the end theme song too much lol.

rain
it's been raining a LOT here... so much, in fact, that one of our freeways are practically flooded, stores have flooded too... and 2 people have died because of an accident caused by the water... >> so far that's been more downtown area... i hope it doesn't reach my area... i mean i like rain, i just don't like excessive rain ^^'

so as it turns out, my area happens to be vulnerable to tsunamis, contrary to past belief. read it in the newspaper this morning. (my sister was like "wow you're actually reading the newspaper!!" ^^') according to the news, we're not prepared for a tsunami so if it happens we'll be pretty much as worse off as in Asia. X_x;;;
