cube
yeah... no updates on the cube today ^^' now that i have it at 2 layers, i don't want to mess it up, so i haven't touched it since last night. XD pretty soon i'll be like "ohhh so that's why they thought it was funny i couldn't solve it" haha. and after that maybe i can even get good enough to race kent to see who can solve it the fastest?!? that would be fun... maybe i should try to race against jordan first... he takes longer than kent xD eh, i think i should actually SOLVE the cube before i think about racing with it... lol ^^'

i've been thinking about it constantly. when i went to borders i looked for a book on it, and... they were all out of print! O_O; but then again, reading a book about it would be cheating. haha.

hehe today i received a package from my best friend. part of it was for Christmas and part of it was just stuff she bought from Japan. She even bought stuff for my parents and sister... she's so nice ^^

For christmas she gave me a Sumie set... it's got this really nice paper and i think i'll practice with something more like computer paper so that when i use the nice paper i can make it turn out really good... maybe if i get good at it i will send her a picture (we live on opposite ends of the state ^^')

From japan... wow she bought me a lot of stuff...

1 - a manga called Guilt-Na-Zan... i can't read it (well i can actually... i just don't UNDERSTAND it), but it's awesome anyway... it's so gothic lolita~~~ i love it. the chibis hehe. i'll put up some scans if i get the time... but for now, here is the cover:

maybe i can find someone to help me translate it.. i dunno if i should show my grandma... in case there's anything bad in there O_o; (**reason in next paragraph**) wait, i'll let kent help me... he's always saying how he's gonna teach me japanese... ahaha.. or if not maybe i can find some seniors... or maybe even a junior. haha. or i can get out my japanese-english dictionary and just start translating myself O_o;; i don't think many people have heard of it. i've found one livejournal user who knows what it is, and the official website... and that's about it x-X;;

in this manga, some of the kanji doesn't have hiragana next to it... but some of it does... this makes me think that it's probably made for older teens (manga for kids usually has hiragana next to the kanji because they are still learning) so yeah... maybe i should find a senior instead of asking relatives ^^'

2 - a cd single of soujirou's theme song, "Innocence"... hehe. it's a great song... ^^ yeah... i'm soujirou, and she's sanosuke. the reason? well actually there are 2. 1) if she had been born a boy, she would have been named sanosuke [her mom told her that] 2) she is extremely afraid of having her picture taken... remember the train episode, anyone? ^^ mmm now all i have to do is keep my soujirou-ness... honestly i've been soujirou for quite a while... i don't know what i would do if i weren't him... x_x;;

3 - a cell phone key chain... sure i don't have a cell phone, but it's really pretty... it has this blue orb thing in the middle that's surrounded by wire... +_+ soooo pretty... if the picture quality turns out, i will upload a picture so you can see it ^^

4 - this one is my favorite... it's something for your cell phone (i think... i'm not sure how you would put it on tho... >>).. it's actually a hello kitty charm but what makes it so cool is... it's a HARAJYUKU hello kitty charm!! for those of you who don't know what i mean by that... it's a gothic lolita hello kitty charm!! hehe. it's SO---- cute... looks kind of like mana... hehe. i will try to take a good picture of it, and one day i'm gonna go to japan and get the kodana hello kitty (i'll scan in the tag) waaahhhh~~ so cute!!

hehe i'm updating it again! finally... haha. now i'll have 2 div/layer ones... i was able to fix the one with taroukun... all because of a tiny little tag... >> well at least it's fixed now. it was quite irritating while i was trying to figure it out tho... ^^' i haven't actually uploaded it yet, but i will as soon as possible... i want to fix a few things first i think.

mmm i need ideas on layouts... haha. so far boyis has been a great resource for graphics... most of the jrock places have the name of their website all over the picture xD haha maybe i can scan in some of my shoxx. or even zappy O_o;; or i can go to avant gauche and use gosurori scans. yes, that should work. i think i'll do some gothic lolita layouts.

Rain part 2
so apparently the heavy rain stopped today but it might come back tomorrow... according to the newspaper, my city is not in the part that will be the most affected if a tsunami hits, but the places that are are around 45 min - 1 hr away... so we'll probably still be affected, ne? ^^' haha o well.

Wallflower
OMG wallflower is awesome!! all of the guys look like jrockers because hayakawa-sensei bases them on jrockers!! she even got to go backstage at a pierrot concert!! more info on my xanga

sunako is a cool character. i want to be like her... no, i think it's more than that. i don't want to be LIKE her, i want to BE her. well maybe her until she met the four guys? even tho they're cute... she had a nice existence before they came along. no one saw her, and she didn't have to care about the rest of the world... and she wasn't alone because she had her anatomy modes, josephine, akira, and hiroshi... mmm i wonder what would have happened to her if they never came...

before you start thinking i belong in an asylum... the fact that i want to be her really doesn't mean i'm depressed or that i hate people or anything like that... i just think it might be kind of cool to not have to worry about anything anymore ^^'

(since tomorrow i will be watching Kohaku performance) hehe. i hope everyone has a good time... ^_^ my goals for next year are on my xanga also (see above)... i wonder what some of yours are...?
