wow *walks into dusty myO site* i guess i just stopped posting for a while ^^; i was kind of depressed, so i guess that's why i didn't update or visit everyone's sites and such. sorry about that ^^; i'm kind of tired right now so i'll just copy what i wrote on my xanga.
period 1 [ mr williams | engineering ]
yeah using the livejournal style thing... haha. well anyway, today sailboat designs were due, and mr williams caught someone working on their POW (problem of the week)!! o_O;; he started yelling (which is *so* rare for mr williams) and then he ripped up the papers! it was scary... since my pow was sitting in my engineering binder (poor orginizational skills), i thought that since i had it out he would rip mine up too >____< other than that i guess it was ok. kind of stressful though..
period 3 [ mr iseri | math ]
POW was due and some people were still working on it right before class started... o_o; haha mine wasn't that good, i bet i'll get like a 5 on it. but that's ok because i can always do all that extra credit he has on his site. it was such an easy class today. he went over trig functions and the portfolio and then he gave us two assignments that we all finished within the course of like... 10 minutes.
period 4 [ ms brakel | english ]
most of the class was kind of scared because it was the prefix/suffix test and not many people had studied. we also found out that we had to know the meaning of the example words, and that made us kind of paranoid. but when we took the test, it was actually kind of easy ^^; then we had free time and i drew a picture... julien said that it looked like kent o_O;; haha... i don't know why though. it looks nothing like him. if i had a scanner i would show you. but then again, none of you are probably interested ^^' besides, none of you know what kent looks like... haha.
period 6 [ mr jett | science ]
we went over constructions 17 and 18... really simple stuff. like what i learned last year in geometry.. >___>; then we were all in a panic because we only had like half an hour to work on our rockets, and only about half of us had actually started. i got in a group with david because he had a bottle and i didn't XD jenny also joined, and we had a really hard time putting the cone on. at the end, it was kind of a right-triangle looking thing, pointing somewhere off to the left... jenny and david were having fun with the tape... we actually went through an entire roll o_O; but apparently it flew fine... i hope we got full credit..
period 5 [ ms gilroy | health ]
today... ms gilroy told us about the evils of white food. like white bread, white rice, and pasta and flour tortillas. she said "eat other food instead"... haha... but.... i'm *asian*... how am i supposed to *not* eat white rice? lol. we didn't get to start our restaurant project but apparently we're going with a hawaiian theme... after that we voted on class t-shirt designs and people actually voted for mine! in fact, if i had voted for my own design (but i didn't because there was another design i liked more), my tshirt would have won~~ but now it's a tie. so we're not sure what to do about it now... haha.
period 7 [ hall-sensei | japanese ]
ahahahahaha... the funniest japanese class of the year. we were supposed to bring candy for girl's day, but like... no one did except there were some airheads and then my giant bag of lollipops. funny how many lollipops one class can go through, isn't it? i started with 360 and when i came home there were only about 25. anyway we took a test on telling time and i got one wrong because i thought it said "1:01" instead of "1:10" haha.. too bad. xD; then after that we were practicing and hall-sensei made everyone go to the corner if they got a wrong answer.. i'm so lucky i didn't have to... even bernie (*noriko*) got sent to the corner! and she's like the best student! well maybe vicky? hmmm maybe it's a tie between the two of them. you know, even hall-sensei sent *herself* to the corner! o_O;; and she asked daniel (yoshi) how to say 4:00, which happens to be "yoji" and she made it sound like "yoji, how would you like to say 4:00??" and the entire class started cracking up. even hall-sensei couldn't stop laughing! O_O;;
EDIT: hall-sensei gave away a fish that everyone thought was dead.. O_O
[after school]
well i went to art club and michelle gave me 2 more cds full of jrock!! X333 i'm so happy. it has a lot of asian kung fu generation pvs and such. hehe i'm gonna give her more blank discs to burn me the rest of it lol. started playing ddr again (since my dance pad has been gone until yesterday) and i'm starting to learn heavy level. haha to peter: you better show up next meeting so that we can play against each other. i'm gonna make a complete fool of myself so you better appreciate this. lol... i wasn't expecting you to actually decide to play xD
