wheeeeeee guess what~!! we all failed the science section of the CAT 6 tests :0 i'm not exaggerating either. everyone i asked said they guessed on at least half of the test questions~! haha... how ironic. when the test scores get printed, California Academy of Math and Science is going to have the lowest science scores. what has this world come to? x_x;;
haha. well besides the science test (which should have been easy, mind you), our day at school was really... boring. *nod* first was the testing, then after that we went to english and read more of Romeo and Juliet. it's like... "world's oldest soap opera" or something. it would make quite an interesting asian drama. lol. but other than that it's kind of boring because everyone reads in a monotone voice and no one knows what they're talking about. then we had an hour for lunch rather than our usual 48 minutes... i had nothing to do really so i just worked on my homework (yes i *know* i'm a nerd)... then after that was our science quiz on astronomy. it was really easy...
after that, our space settlement plans. i talked to sergio about it, and he told me that most of the class was going to fail with about 30 or 40% credit. but then i asked him to read our group's paper and he told us he would probably give us a 90%, higher if we included more diagrams :D so that made me happy. i was so~~~~ relieved. he told me that our group was like.. the only group that won't fail in our cohort. and not that i'm happy about everyone's failing grades, but i'm really grateful i'm part of that group that's not going to fail XD;
then.... eigth period computer applications is *still* the most boring class in the entire world. we made more spreadsheets today while i checked my deviantART and such. and my xanga. and explained the homework to julie. and taught peter origami. XD;;;
the bus ride home was kind of creepy. brad kept staring at me. x____x; i really try to ignore it but it gets to you after a while, you know? but i managed to simply talk to lynda about all the pretty guys in my magazines and who she thought was cute from there and me tryig to get a friend to call miyavi hot (lol because it's so obvious that she thinks so and she won't admit it)... but still. having a guy stare at you all the time is just... ehhhhh. he's still trying to take pictures of me too x_X; I REALLY HOPE "MR. ADMIRER" ISN'T BECOMING "MR. STALKER".... having a stalker once in a lifetime is more than enough.
then i went to the library for tutoring and there were no kids so we had nothing to do. so we sat around reading or talking... and getting our hours done. ehhhh nothing else really.
so lately i've been really trying to pick out some colleges and majors to try to get to.
london is out, since the only affordable one doesn't offer masters degrees. east coast is my second choice... i mean... all those really prestigious colleges are there. it would be pretty cool to go to Yale or say.. Harvard? o_O; no way. i'm not smart enough (or rich enough) for a college like that. but it would still be cool. as for cali... that's where my parents want me to go. i know we've got good colleges over here and stuff, but i can't stay at home for the rest of my life. XD; maybe i can try a n.cali school or something. but of course, so.cal isn't that bad either.
gahhhh too many choices to make. not to mention that i don't even have a major picked out yet... o_O
i was supposed to have all this planned out a long time ago. i remember the moment i stepped into calle, i thought "by the end of my 7th grade year i want to know what i want to major in! and by the end of my 8th grade year i want to have a college picked out, with hopefully 2 backups!" and now look at me. i have neither of them D:
i think i've just decided that when i grow up i'm going to have to live somewhere other than california... why? the average house around my area sells for around $600,000 or so... and that's a cheap price actually. atually, average would be more like $700,000. go a few miles south and even a really small house goes for a MINIMUM of $1 million. *nod* so... when i get a job i think i'll get a job where the houses are a little bit... cheaper.
i got to read two new mangas today. one was hellsing and the other was chobits... hellsing was pretty good. it was really easy to follow.. didn't confuse me like kaine did when i first read it. the art is pretty good too.. except for a while i was convinced one of the characters was a guy when really she was a girl XD as for chobits.... OMG it's so~~~ cute! i love chi. she's so kawaii~ :3 there's a few perverted moments, but it's still really cute. nothing too bad.
wellllllll that's about all i have to say today. bye, minna.
