I too am a huge fan of "Gundam"! My favorite "Gundam" anime so far are "Mobile Suit Gundam" (the original 'Gundam"), "Gundam: Char's Counterattack", "Gundam Wing"/"Gundam Wing: endless Waltz", "Gundam SEED", and "Gundam SEED Destiny". It's hard to say why for my favorites, but if I have to say which "Gundam" is the best, I say "Mobile Suit Gundam" (nothin' beats the original).
Do you watch fansubs/youtube recordings of "Gundam" anime by any chance? Because so far, not all "Gundam" anime are officially licensed for U.S. VHS/DVD release ya' know (only first "gundam", "Z gundam", "char's counterattack", "f91", "0080", "0083", "g gundam", "gundam w", "gundam 08th MS", "gundam w: endless waltz", "gundam sedd/seed destiny", "ms igloo" are already officially licensed for U.S.).
Anyway, nice to meet other die-hard "gundam" fans here!
