   Changes...

Obviously, I changed the layout a bit. This isn't what it will look like though. I still have to find a way to make the background image show up. Does anybody know the HTMl for that. I tried to do it in the backroom, but it didn't work. I will also add in tables...as soon as I can figure out how to make them work. ^__^" Does anybody know the code for that?

Heh...I am hopeless with HTML...

   Minus The Bear:

At noon the wind comes through
Across the bay on a clear day
And I can watch the boats come in and set their anchors
And my folks are away at the store
So I don't have to listen to anyone say anything.
And I swim out as far as I can
And float on my back
Just waiting for nothing.
I hope they never come back to this house.
It's a lot more fun alone.
I can do anything I want
And so I'm swimming
More like floating
And I'll just stay out here
Until the night comes crashing down
And I swim out as far as I can
And float on my back
Just waiting for nothing.
They always come home
At the wrong time
Like when I'm all right
And don't need no one at all.

   Owww....

I'm in so much pain right now. x__x I have this problem with my knees. I don't know what I ever did to them, but occasionally they will just hurt so bad. It isn't "growing pains;" believe me. But they hurt!

Heh. Band camp started today. Whopee! It actually wasn't too bad. We spent all morning (8 - 12) inside, mostly talking. We did play a bit. After that I went out to eat with some of my friends on Colorguard. Then I came home and went to the mall with Cameron, Ben, and Trey. I definetely needed a day out with those guys. I haven't had so much fun in a long while. Then we went back to Camp from 6-9. That is when the knees started hurting. We didn't do anything but play; which might be the reason that my lip is already almost busted. That sucks. But yeah...it is fun. We will start setting drill tomorrow night! I can't wait. This year's halftime theme is "Motown." That will be fun. Then we will do something new this year. We will take the "best" of the marchers and players and create a "Competition Band." The show for that will be some kind of Spanish thing. It will be a lot more complex.
*Sighs* I love band camp. We have 13 Altos this year!!! 13!!!!! How awesome is that?! Tonight, our section leader from last year came by. He brought his horn and played with us. It was fun. Our first song is....I can't remember. ^__^"

I'm going to bed now. I will leave you with some lyrics on the post above this.

Life is so... meh

As I said...Life is meh right now. I finally moved into my new room. It looks pretty good right now. I still gotta fix the rest of it up, but for the most part it is done. I'll post some pictures when it is done.

I got an email a short while ago from my best friend that was practically berating me for 1. not returning a phone call that I didn't even know about and 2. For going off and doing things with my family and another friend who she hates. She got mad because she called the day before yesterday. My dad called and told me, so I called her from Leanne's house (who is the friend of mine that she hates). We were on speaker phone and the convo lasted for like...2 minutes. Then in the email she was all mad becuase she thought I spend so much time with Leanne and "how dare I call from her house!" To be honest...I haven't called or seen hardly any of my friends from school this summer. I dunno what it is about summer that makes me hide in my house like some kind of hermit. I sent her an email back apoligizing and stuff, but I'm npt quite sure I meant it. Why should she get so mad at me for hanging out with other friends? Is it so wrong for me to do stuff without her? And why on earth does she get mad about me spending time with my family? They're my family for god sakes!

Gawd... life is so.... stupid.

E D I T: I wrote this last night, only I didn't actually post it. Hopefully everything is ok with Cami and me. She sent me an email asking me to go to the movies with her today. Hopefully I can go. Plus she might get a new computer....which would make her uber-happy. Which would also make her less angry with me. x__x

   Shingetsutan Tsukihime...

GO WATCH SHINGETSUTAN TSUKIHIME!!!! That show is freakin' awesome. I d/led it a few days ago, but I just watched it last night/ today. It was really really cool. The artwork was gorgeous. It was simple and smooth, but at the same time sharp. And the storyline is one that I had never really seen before. It was creative and a bit complex. But in the end it all works out well. My only real beef is that it is only 12 episodes long. It should be longer!!

Here is the basic plot:

Eight years ago, Tohno Shiki was involved in a car accident. After the accident, Shiki is sent away to live with some distant relatives. Ever since the accident, Shiki has had a secret. He has the Eyes of the Grim Reaper. That is, he can see the lines of death; by cutting one of those lines, the entire object, be it chair, desk, or person, falls to pieces. Then Shiki meets a woman that gives him a special pair of glasses that make these "lines of death" disappear. Thanks to this mysterious woman, Shiki is able to live a normal life.

Eight years later, Shiki recieves some disturbing news. The head of the Tohno family -- Shiki's father -- has died. By orders of the new head of the family-- Shiki's sister, Akiha-- Shiki must now return to his childhood home. This is where the story begins... and Shiki's "normal life" will never be the same.

-----------------------------

How awesome is that? You really ought to check it out. I mean, it has so much more than what it seems to based on the description, including my favorite twist ever in the end. Trust me on this one.... you will really enjoy this one.

NOTE: It also goes by just Tsukihime and Moon Princess.

E D I T: Thanks to Shinmaru, I now remembered yet another wonderful thing about this show: the music. The entire show would not be the same without the music. The intro/ending is filled with the beautifulness of violins. Even this little thing that interupts you in the middle has a violin. It adds a bit of a classical element to it. Oh so good...

   Just shut up already...

Heh. I went to a baseball game tonight with my friend Leanne. It was really really fun, when you take her mother out of the picture. Her mom is PHSYCO!! When Leanne was driving it was "Slow down Leanne! You're going to hit someone! We're going to wreck!" And then when Leanne tried to back out of a space, she didn't do it well enough, apparently, becuase Mrs. P. bumped Leanne to teh back seat and drove so perfect... except for the time where she almost hit someone and where she parked so screwy that we had to go over the curb just to get out. The woman nitpicks over EVERYTHING! Sheesh. Enough of that though.

We (my mother and I) moved my desk out of my room to paint it last night, so I am in the floor now. ^__^ It's kind of fun though...

I'm about to update again on Shingetsutan Tsukihime. ^^

   Jaime Cullum -- "Twenty Something"

I decided that I was going to put my current song as the titles to my posts from now on. I am just too lazy to write all that out in my post. Plus I can never think of good titles. ^__~

On to more important things. Last night my family and I went to yet another Drum Corps show. This one was soooo much better than the last. It had about 10 corps there, and all but 2 were top 10 corps. Talk about competition. Blue Devils won yet again with a score of 89.7. That score is amazing for two reasons: 1. Generally this early in the season corps are barely breaking 80. To get that high after the season started only a short while ago. 2. The Santa Clara Vanguard came in second by only .05 points. That is insane that it broke down to that little. I suppose I should end my band nerd rant... If you want more info on DCI try this link.

Some friends of mine came over today to look at my car and to invite me to a party at one of their lake houses this weekend. I won't be going though. I'm not the best of friends with these girls, and truth be told, I am only friends with them out of necessity. I hate saying it, but it is true.

My cousin is in town again, and I really would like for her to spend a few days at my house. Right now she is in the downtown portion of our city on a mission trip. She has to help roof houses all day long. Sucks for her. x__X I wouldn't do it. So I am glad it isn't me! ^^

And to bring this rather boring post to a close, I am still working on the new layout. I am going to try to have it done by the time band camp starts (July 26), but I am not so sure it will happen. I need to be reading our summer reading books for school, but I'm not. "An American Childhood" has become fairly interesting, but it is taking forever to read. There is just something about it that won't allow you to read it fast. So I have been reading it bit by bit each night for about an hour. I don't really remember all that has gone on since I am reading at 1 AM, but hey...what can you do? ^__~ And now I will end this post as I [promised I would.

   *screams and then runs around*

I LOOOOOOOOVE MY PARENTS!!!!!!!!!! Today I went and saw The Day After Tomorrow (great movie by the way), and they went to a car dealership. I GOT A CAR! Bweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. LOL. I am so happy. I haven't seen it yet though. My mom says I can't see it before they buy it. >__< I do konw that it is a '98 dark blue Saturn. I can't wait until they get home with my car. I'm guessing it was pretty inexpensive since they also bought my oldest brother a Jeep Cherokee. But I have a car! HAHA! And I'm not even old enough to get my license yet. O__o But that is ok.

I'll try to post some pictures up later.

*dances around*
