Yay!

I don't know why, but the second episode of Samurai Champloo d/l in two days. It is crazy. I have yet to talk to Preston about it though. *shrugs* He is never online. About the picture in question, from my last post, it may now be found Here. I post it in hopes that some one else might recognize it. Everything was the same about it, except down on teh bottom edge of the canvas, the person's name was in red. I can't remember the name, but I can remember that it was shortened. I don't know if that helps, but have at it. Oh! Baron might remember this, but I actually made a banner out of this picture a while back. I had to redo it like 3 times because of Baron's pickiness. ^__^ Also I started a new project today. I am taking 3 images from Samurai Champloo and creating 3 different backgrounds. Then I am going to smoosh them all together in a mondo-mondo-page header. Hopefully all will go well. I finished the one of Fuu, and it looks pretty good, if I do say so myself. ^__~ I also uploaded a new banner into my sig....of Jin of course. It seems that I, too, have been caught up in the "Samurai Champloo craze." ^^

*cries*

So I saw this picture in the fanart section the other day. It was of a girl sitting in a chair with a painting of herself in front of her. I have seen it before, but it wasn't done by the artist who said they did it in the fanart section. I have it saved on my computer, but the site where I got it from will put up pics then replace them. So I will have to wait until I can find it again. Then there is the problem that I don't even remeber in which section I saw it or who said they did it. x__X Life is rough

   Simply amazing!!!!!

Heehee! So I watched the first episode of Samurai Champloo tonight. HOLY CRAP IT ROXORS!! And it only took 6 days to d/l. (sorry about that mistake last time Azure. ^__^) w00t...err.. except not. I really do need to talk to Sasuke about it. Anyways, It was awesome. Everything that has been said about it is correct. Parts of it were really funny. But the action!! *is in heaven* Heh. anyways...go download. >:| In the "reading section" of my life, got some new stuff. Most notabley is Shinmaru's story "The Seven Years War." It can be found (somewhere) in the Literature forum. I printed it out last night so that I wouldn't have to stay on to read. His 11 chapter story is about 37 pages with size 8 font on MS Word. But it is well worth it. Go check it out. All this post seems to do is boss you around. ^__^ My cousin is still at my house. I thought this past week and a half would have been awful. In the past we were at each others' throats everytime we spoke. But now...call it maturity, we are becoming pretty good friends. I'm not sure how long she is going to stay, but it doesn't bother me. I think it may be getting on my best friend's nerves though. I haven't even talked to her since school got out except one time she called to get me to go to the movies. She told my dad at the grocery store the other day that I must not miss her very much since I never call. But couldn't she call me too? I mean, am I really in the wrong here? I have been trying to hang around my cousin with all that "she is my guest" mess, but she should understand. It isn't like we couldn't do stuff; we would just have to bring my cousin. I don't see why she would care about my cousin being there. I don't know.... I think I will call her tomorrow. *yawn* I am going to bed. I don't think I have gone to bed before 4 in a while. ^__^

bitTorrent sucks......big time....

Current Mood: Sarcasticly angry Current Song: "Roses"- Outkast Gawd, I hate BT!!! I have been trying to d/l the first 10 Naruto episodes for the past...mmmm...5 days....and so far we are at 2.6% completion. That sucks!! Samurai Champloo started at 12:00 this afternoon and it is at 6%. I am so proud of my baby. *insert sarcasism here* Good news though, I have achieved 4 championships on Group Sounds (to lazy to link right now). I am tied with Baron!! w00t!! ^__^ I also started up a new banner/avi set. It really is simple. I took a stencil someone did from StencilRevolutions.com and colored it. Then I added some text and voila! There we have it. ^__^ I like it though. It is green. Reminds me of this army thing. So I made an army-green background and a beige star for my avi. ^__^ Simplicity roxors. I am going to bed. Laters

Home again....

I just got back yesterday from my week long trip to my grandmother's. I brought my cousin home too. ^__^ Fun times. It was so much fun at my grandmother's!! Vacation Bible School was great. I helped with 5k again this year. Little kids are soooo cute. Unfortuantely, though, this year's theme was "The Rickishaw Ralley" X__x THat basically eant that everyone was running about trying to do things the "japanese way." Talk about awful. Then my cousin gets the wonderful idea *insert sarcasim here* to tell the girl in charge of our class that I watch japanese cartoons so I know japanese. I wanted to kill someone. After that they were all like "OOOO!! Talk Japanese!! Talk Japanese!!" I found it funny when they were so disappointed when I told them I only knew about 6 words, and when you put them all together the sentence would turn out crazy. ^__^ I am so glad to be home. And for all those interested, my doggie is fine. She got her cast off about two weeks ago and her foot is fine. Yay!

Busy busy....

Some time last week my dog cracked her "duke claw" aka her thumb nail. Well Sunday night she came to me and started licking her paw. When I looked, I saw that she had broken that same nail and it was now turned at about a 90 degree angle. Not good. Our vet's office was closed until tuesday so we had to call this emergency animal hospital. They told us that if she breaks it completely off, it can bleed so much that it would kill her, or that it it might not. So we brought her in. We arrived at about 11:30 P.M. to a waiting room with one other person in it. The guy who was there before us had a dog that kept collapsing and seemed to be having strokes. His dog was already back there so we though hey, this won't take long at all. Then this lady comes in with a 9 week old tea-cup sized thing (I don't know what kind of dog it was) that had been dropped on its head on the concrete. Obviously that was more serious than a little toenail that wasn't bleeding, so we told them to go ahead of us. Then these girls brought in a dog that had been bitten by a snake. Then it was this lady whose dog had been bitten by a spider and the spider's larva was inside her dog! EWWWWWWW.... All of these got put in before us. So 1:00 A.M. rolls around and we have yet to be seen by a doctor. Nurse comes out, takes Mattie back, and five minutes later my dog comes out with her foot bandaged all the way up her arm in yellow bandages. Poor dog couldn't walk on it. She had to like hop around on three feet. It was sooooooooo sad! *Warning: Spoilers* In other news, I purchased Kill Bill this weekend. Really good movie. I thought the story line was great. The fight scenes where amazing. Although I found that alot of the deaths of the Crazy 88's were unrealistic. Especially in the cases of GoGo and O-Ren. Esecially O-Ren. Other than that it was great. The ending was.......horribly cliff-hanging. Tarantino did an amazing job. I mean it. In my opinion it was a bit short, even though it lasted over an hour and a half. I cannot wait until the next one comes out, along with every other person here. I jumped on the "Kill Bill" bandwagon a bit late, but late than never. So I have become addicted to an amazing band from Glasgow, Franz Ferdinand. Any one else? There first single (that I have heard) is called "Take Me Out." It's really upbeat and has this Modest Mouse Feel to it. They also sound kind of like Jet.....yeah. Check them out. In other news, I joined Tony's boards: Group SOunds. The look is great. I haven't really read any posts seeing as I just joined about 20 minutes ago. ^__^ The Dreamsicle style kicks booty though... The rest of it reminds me of OB. Hm.... That's about it.

FREEEEEEEEEEEEDOM!!!!!!!!

Finally I am free...at least for a few months. Classes finished yesterday, but I was out all day with my family. I have done absolutely nothing all day, and it has been wonderful. ^^ I bought the LOTR movie yesterday. I am gonna watch it tonight with my folks since they haven't seen it yet. I have been looking around all day long for some Samurai Champloo pictures. I cannot wait until I will get to see that show. It looks awesome. If you haven't heard of it.....where have you been? I think I found a picutre I can use to make either a banner or a header. My brother's graduation last night was great. I am so happy he passed! All he had to do was pass his english exam. The first time around he lacked it by 8 points. His teacher let him take it again and he passed. We were all so happy. I, on the other hand, was horribly upset. I have gone to the same school as my brother for about 8 years. He has always been there for me, always been in the same house as me. And now he will be leaving. He is going on tour with his band for about a month and in the fall ( I think) he is going to go to a local college, which means he will have to move to the dorms that are 2.5 hours away. Sad indeed. I think that about covers it.

I hate my life... I had this mondo-post all typed up and....we had complete crashage. Not cool. Anyways...recap: 1. New layout...I couldn't make the green do what I want (*wink wink*) so I changed to blue. 2. I finished FFX-2! W00t! I am only at like 64% completion though. So I need to go back and work on that. 3. I made first chair in Symphonic Band. 4. I saw Troy last saturday. AMAZING MOVIE!! I loved it. It was right up there with LOTR:ROTK 5. Modest Mouse's new CD roxors. 6. I started reading Chobits! It is so good. I am in the middle of the 3rd book. I'm doing it the cheap way...which means I go to Barnes & Nobles to grab coffee then sit down and start to read. ^^ 7. My brother is graduating from High School *cries* 8. I think next week I am going to my grandmother's house to help at her church's Vacation Bible School. I am going to work with 5 year olds again.    Been a long time, eh?

Wow. I haven't been here for over a month. I have gotten sooo busy lately that I haven't had time....that and the fact that I kind of forgot about it... Anyways, it is nice to be back. ^^ Finals are coming up at school, so this may be the only post for many weeks to come. I can't believe school is almost over. I'm gonna miss it. Really, I will. I enjoy school, but not exams. I found out the other day that our chemistry exam is over the entire year! Crap. But the good news is that once we get out next friday, I have all weekend to study for it. Which is good, I guess. In response to Baron's little comment about my website, you can't see it yet. ^__~ I haven't really done much on it recently so it is still in its beginning stage. I am looking for another place to host my site (for free) so if anyone knows any place, please let me know. What happened around here? I had no clue that mO was going to be updated so when I got here I was a bit shocked. It looks good though. My only problem with it is the ad banner up at the top. I would much rather see a mO header than an advertisement for wallpapers and screensavers. I need to make my rounds on my friends' sites. I haven't talked to many of them in a long time. I have missed you guys!!! I am working on getting a job too. >__< I have so much stuff that I want to buy that I need a job badly. And I can't get money from my folks alot because of my father's whole job situation, or lack thereof. I got two CD's last night from my mom for "just being me" as she put it. I got The Kicks "Hello Hong Kong" and Modest Mouse "Good News For People Who Love Bad News." I am so excited about the Modest Mouse one. I love their new stuff. OH!! A few days ago I order Ben Jenlen's "Give It All Away." Soooooooooo happy! I love that kid. He's so.....AWESOME! ^^ I saw my friend Shaun yesterday!!!!!!!!!!! Shaunzie moved away about a month ago to Florida, and I had heard nothing from him. Then yesterday morning I was walking to A period and he ran up behind me and hugged me. I am so excited! He is out of school so for the next week he is in town. Awesome stuff. It seems everything in my life is exciting... I suppose that is about it. I will post again sometime soon. Holy Crap...

Holy crap, it has been ages since I last posted. So many things have come and gone. Spring Break was loads of fun. England was magnificent, as was Scottland. I took 7 rolls of film. ^__^ I loved it. The reason I haven't been writing anything is that I am in the process of starting up my own site. I want to use it to showcase my art. I haven't done all that much on it, but I am trying. I'll put the URL up once I get more done on it. Well Happy Easter!
