ok im gonna repost the first two chapters of my story along with chapters 3 and 4, its just for those who missed the first two.


Chapter 1

Thirteen years have passed since this world was rebuilt after the 3010 holocaust. I, one of the many survivors, am one of the very few people that contain the power and knowledge of the ancient world. They call us demons, even though we are very similar to humans just with a few differences. The stage of technology has reverted back to how it was in the feudal era. I am the one they call Atomskal, Skal for short.

I walked along the cliff edge above Antheous, the only city that resembles one from the old world. It lies on the border between the lands of the Scorina clans and the plains of Anthreon. ’Hara, how is it that this city still stands, I thought it was destroyed thirteen years ago’ a translucent woman appeared beside me ‘to me honest, my prince, I haven’t got a clue, but it is beautiful. Don’t you think?’ I smiled ‘yeah, it sure is a beauty’
I jumped from the ledge and landed in the pool at the bottom. ‘hey, do you mind’ a young girl no older than 14 was hiding behind a rock ‘hey, you’re a demon’ ‘hey, who you calling demon, I was only affected by the holocaust and I ended up like this, anyway, why are you hiding?’ she sighed ‘I was about to take a bath when you decided to literally drop in’ ‘oh sorry, wait what was your name again?’ she gave me a funny look ‘I didn’t give it, anyway im called Alexus, Alexus Haruko’ I waded out of the pool ‘im Skal. Atomskal’

I spent the later part of the day getting to know Alexus. ‘To be honest, I didn’t think anyone would even want to talk to me, apart from the spirit of my deceased mother, Hara’
Alexus looked at me ‘and I don’t see why, people are so afraid of you, you’re not really that scary. My mother, thinks that people like you should be wiped from the face of the world’ ‘does, she. I don’t think ill go see her yet then, but how about I escort you home?’
Alexus smiled ‘I think ill stay with you tonight, ill go home in the morning’ I was surprised, I had never met anyone that didn’t mind being with me, and I had never felt like this before. ‘Well, I guess we better find some shelter, it looks like its going to rain’ ‘ok’ she replied.
I didn’t want to believe it, but it was really happening, I had actually found someone who likes me for who I am, not what I am. ‘Umm, Alexus’ she looked at me ‘what?’ ‘I just want to know what you think of me, really’ she blushed ‘well, I guess it’s your personality, I really didn’t think that there’d be demons, like you in this world…’ I smiled ‘…and you are kinda, well you know, cute’ I blushed ‘hey, your blushing’ she laughed ‘I guess you’re not used to people yet’ ‘hey, you can’t say anything, your blushing too’ she was blushing, just like I had said ‘err, can I ask you the same question, Atomskal?’ I stopped, ‘I guess everything, sorry if that offends you’ ‘no, I appreciate it Hey, why don’t we rest there?’ Alexus was pointing towards an opening in the cliff face ‘im sure it’ll be safe’.



Chapter two

I spent the night with my newfound friend, and I found my self watching her while she slept beside me *I don’t know but, I think I like her* I thought to my self, as I looked to the stars above, *Alexus huh, well ill look after her if I have to, but it would be better for her to be with her family* I put my arm round her and closed my eyes, it felt like seconds had passed by when I awoke, but she had gone. ‘Huh, what the………where is she?’ as I said that she appeared in front of me ‘Alexus, you scared the living hell outta me, where did you go?’ she gave me what you don’t know cant hurt you look ‘does it matter, im back now’ I clambered to my feet, I stood approximately 6”3 1/2’ compared to her 5”5’, I was huge ‘she looked up at me ‘I wonder, are this tall without your shoes?’ I tilted my head ‘no, im actually 6”1’ without them, why?’ she turned round and started to walk forwards, ‘well I don’t want to feel small, so take them off’ I sighed ‘oh ok, if you insist, but I think ill change into something more convenient’ she turned and looked at me, ‘and how might I ask, do you plan on doing that, you don’t even have a spare set of clothes’ I smiled as I started to glow, my clothes disintegrated and in there place was a kimono, Alexus stared in amazement as I placed my sword on my back ‘you were saying’ I laughed ‘how did you do that?’ I sighed again ‘because I can, any way I can do the same for you if you want,…’ she looked even more surprised ‘…hold that thought and get behind me’ she just did as I said as I drew my sword from its sheath, ‘who’s there? Show yourself’ I shouted. As I did, several people dropped down from the trees in front of me ‘who are you? And what do you want’ I exclaimed in surprise. ‘We, we are here to kill you demon’ ‘geez, gimmie a break, do you even know who I am?’ ‘names are for friends, so we don’t need to know’ I raised an eyebrow ‘well I don care who you are, but you’re gonna find out who I am anyway, I am Atomskal the renegade demon’ there eyes opened wide, ‘I thought he was a demon that had took the lives of his own kind to save the life of the one he loved. To be honest I thought he was a big muscley beast from hell, not some scraggly wimp like you’ ‘that’s it, you bastard, im gonna kill you for that’ my sword began to glow, and morphing into something else, that’s all they saw before they fell to the ground, unconscious *who are they and why would they come after me, ive not done anything to attract the attention of the guild recently* I thought as I strode over to unmask them, the first was a male, blue hair tied back in war braids. Alexus rushed over to him ‘Alexus, you know him?’ ‘yes, he’s…he’s my brother, ill stay with him you just carry on with unmasking the others’ ‘ok, ill leave you to tend to him’

I tied up the others round a tree nearby and pulled off their masks, three women, and another male ‘how’s your brother?’ she turned and started back towards her brother. ‘He’s fine, but he’ll need to rest for a while’ I walked over to the others I had tied up ‘Alexus do you know any of these’ I asked. She looked at me then them ‘only one, the girl in the center, her name is lorna, she’s a skilled warrior on her own and doesn’t work well in groups’ I smirked ‘oh really. well we cant just leave them here, I guess well have to bring them back to your place, after I take care of their wounds’ Alexus nodded ‘good idea, but what are we going to carry them with’ I thought to my self as I walked over to her ‘I guess Ill carry them all’ ‘what, you cant possibly carry them all’ I laughed ‘don’t worry, ill tie their hands so they cant attack me while im carrying them’ she sighed ‘that’s not what I mean, do you think you can carry them all at the same time?’ ‘Yup’ I replied quickly with a smile upon my face ‘im stronger than I look.

We both walked down the dirt path to a nearby village, I was indeed carrying all of them, although it was taking its toll on me ‘are you sure you can carry them all? Alexus smirked ‘im fine’ I replied panting ‘there’s only another mile to go, I can just consider this as training’ she sighed and pushed on ahead ‘h…hey wait up’ ‘just try to make me’ she shouted back at me ‘why I outta’ ‘what was that?’ she scowled ‘err…n…nothing’ ‘good, now hurry up’
It wasn’t long before we arrived at the village, it wasn’t what I had expected, and it looked like there had just been a battle. Windows were smashed, buildings destroyed. But what ever happened the attackers lost ‘Alexus, is this your village?’ ‘Yes, but what happened’ ‘beats me, but it would be wise to take a look don’t you think. Huh…Alexus wait up’ she was already a step ahead of me, she had almost got to the village by the time I had noticed.
‘Hey, is anyone here’ she shouted as she looked for survivors *where is everyone?* she thought to herself ‘Alexus, is that you’ ‘huh…… hina, is that you? She replied ‘ALEXUS, IT IS YOU, HEY EVERYONE ITS ALEXUS, SHES BACK’ people poured out from all directions, I had only just got to the village when this happened *geez she sure has got a lot of friends* ‘hey will someone take these people from me’ I said as they turned around ‘hey, who are you? Tell us, wait you’re a demon. He’s just like those that were here before, GET HIM’ ‘WAIT, will you take these injured people first, one of them is Alexus’s brother’ ‘What, Alexus’s brother, but how, he was supposed to be undefeatable’ Alexus pushed her way to the front, ‘that’s what I thought till they were beaten by Atomskal here’ they all stared in awe ‘will you please stop staring, and please tell me where to put them’ one of the crowd stepped foreword ‘follow me please’ she said and walked towards a nearby house ‘will you please bring them in’ I nodded and slowly brought them in ‘Alexus, would you mind giving me a hand’ she walked in and dragged her brother off of me and placed him upon the bed and did the same for the others ‘they’ll be ok, I only knocked them out with the blunt side of my blade. Tell me what happened to the village’ ‘the woman started to explain ‘we were attacked by a small group of demons, they looked just like kids’ ‘wait, was there two girls and a boy who attacked’ ‘that’s all that there was’ ‘damn it, I cant believe it was those three’ Alexus looked puzzled ‘who, who were they’ I sighed ‘it was my adopted brothers and my sister. I was the one who was affected by the radiation of the last great battle of the world, they are descendants of some that were affected, their parents were murdered so my mother, Hara took them in’ ‘but I thought that Hara was dead’ ‘she is, she was slaughtered by Scorn for loving a normal human, and he took the kids, this was 5 years ago, they were only 3 at the time’ Alexus put her hand on my shoulder ‘that terrible, even for someone like you’ ‘if your trying to comfort me, it doesn’t matter, I got over it along time ago’ I stood up and began to walk towards to the door ‘if you need me ill be helping to rebuild the village’ I said as I left the building.

It has been three days, since we arrived at the village. Although the people here don’t approve of me that much they are welcoming me to help rebuild the village.
Everyone has been so kind, I no longer feel like a demon anymore, I feel almost normal most of the time.

‘Hey, Atomskal, what are you doing up here’ ‘who me, im just enjoying the view of the stars, why are you up here Alexus?’ she sat down beside me ‘I came up to tell you that they’ve all woken up’ ‘huh already, they should have been out for a week with that technique I used’ ‘huh, what technique’ I looked at her ‘its called jusenkyos fury, why do you ask?’ she cuddled up to me, ‘I just want to know if I can train with you. If that’s ok with you’ I smiled ‘I guess it couldn’t hurt. But it will be hard, and I don’t know if you’d be able to handle the training’ ‘hey don’t underestimate me’ ‘ok, I got it’ we’d better get started. We spent the rest of the night and the all of the next day training ‘Alexus, I think that’ll do for now, we’ll resume the training after some sleep and something to eat’ she nodded and sat on the edge of the roof of the town hall’s roof. We had been training for exactly 24 hours now ‘Alexus, why is it you wish to become stronger?’ she turned her head towards me as I sat beside her

We sat together on the roof of the town hall till morning. Alexus had fallen asleep in my arms once again, ‘geez, I hope people don’t think anything is between us or anything’ I said softly as I picked her up and took her to the house her brother was in. as I walked in he burst out ‘WHAT HAVE DONE TO MY SISTER’ ‘whoa hold on there, be quiet would you, she’s just tired. I’ve been training her’ I placed her in the nearby bed ‘please don’t attack me while I sleep, got it’ they nodded and left the building. ‘Don’t worry Alexus, ill protect you no matter what’ I said quietly.


Chapter 3

That night I remembered my past, about how my entire village was destroyed just for the sake of getting to one person, my mother, I had been forced to watch her die, after I had tried so hard to help her. But that wasn’t the real problem, it was what happened when I saw her head hit the floor, with blood everywhere, I saw myself, through the eyes of another, I saw myself change, my anger had completely taken over me, my body had changed, I could see people screaming, I tried to stop myself but I couldn’t move, it was like I had been chained to the ground, yet when I looked, there weren’t any, but I heard a voice calling...calling to me ‘Atomskal…Atomskal, wake up you sleazy good for nothing pea brain’ I awoke, I was in side the building that I had left Alexus in ‘huh, oh, it was only a dream’ ‘what was only a dream, it looked more like you were having a nightmare’
I stood, towering over the woman ‘and you are?’ I asked ‘I am Alexus’s mother, I understand you’ve been instructing her’ ‘I guess you could say instructing, but I refer it to training’ she turned and walked into the other room, I followed ‘does it bother you, that im training your daughter?’ she turned and faced me ‘well if you were human then id have no objection, but ever since the incident seven years ago, I…’ I interrupted ‘Incident, what do you mean?’ ‘The village was devastated, there were very few survivors, all because of a family of demons that lived peacefully here they were considered traitors to their own kind, they were slaughtered by a gro…’ ‘it cant just be coincidence, I was wondering why the village looked so familiar, its because, I was, my family was, this village is where I was then, that nightmare I had, it wasn’t really a nightmare, more like bad memories’ ‘wait, that would mean, that you’re real name is..’ ‘Yamada ichigo, yes that’s my real name, its been almost seven years since I went by that name’ I interrupted ‘y…y…yamada ichigo, I knew it, you’re the one who drove them out after what they did’ I sat on the stool nearby, ‘I gave up that name, because I didn’t want to leave any evidence behind so no one would track me back to here, I wouldn’t have been able to live if I found that the survivors were dead’

Little did I know, Alexus had woken, and was listening in to my conversation *I never knew, he actually lived here for a time, I can’t tell anyone, if they found out, then, who knows what will happen* she told herself in her head

‘I think it’d be best id Alexus didn’t find out about this just yet, when the time comes ill tell her myself’ the woman nodded ‘yes, it would be better if neither she or the townsfolk new this’ I stood and began towards the door ‘I guess we’ll leave it at that, granny’ ‘please don’t call me that’ ‘then what should I call you?’ ‘call me Nami’ ‘uh ok, Nami it is then’ I left the room and literally bumped into Alexus, ‘oh, its you’ ‘im glad you're awake, you weren’t by chance listening to the conversation were you’ she kept her cool and shook her head ‘what conversation, I’ve just got up’ I sighed ‘well that’s a relief, anyway, ill give you another day of rest, then we’ll carry on the training, understand’ she nodded and headed on into the room I just came out of. *strange her bed is at the other side of the room, ah well, even if she had herd me, I don’t want to think of it right now*


Chapter 4

It had only been a week since I arrived at my childhood home in aspheria, the small village south of the city of antheous. Alexus had over heard my conversation with her grandmother, who is one of the survivors from the attack seven years ago. ‘Granny Nami, what did you mean, by the one who drove them out after the attack? What attack, do you mean the one seven years ago? And who’s yamada ichigo?’ Alexus said sleepily ‘you were listening to all that? Well I guess since you know this much already, yamada ichigo, is atomskal’s real name, he tried to leave behind all ties. I guess he succeeded’ Alexus was wide eyed but didn’t say a word ‘ he was the one who saved me and some others including your mother and you, he is the daemon who saved us all’ Alexus looked surprised ‘then he’s the one I played with all those years ago then? He is yama-kun’ Nami nodded her head ‘you two looked so sweet back then’ Alexus blushed ‘what are you getting at grandma?’
‘when the time comes you’ll find out’ Alexus stood and walked out of the house ‘geez what is she trying to pull, and what did she mean by, you two looked so sweet together? I really don’t get it’ Alexus stood atop the guard tower to the north, it had a clear view of the old city, it looked so peaceful, yet so deserted.

It was around sunset when I spotted Alexus. She was sitting alone on the guard tower so I jumped up and landed beside her ‘hey, I didn’t think sitting alone was your kind of thing, Alexus’ Alexus turned her head towards me ‘hey, I was just thinking about something yama-kun……sorry that just slipped out, I was remembering some things about my childhood, thing is you seem to be there’ I sat beside her ‘I guess that’s because I was, I used to live here, that’s what I was talking to Nami about earlier. And I know you heard it or at least some of it’ she looked at me ‘sorry, I couldn’t help but hear, but I don’t think it makes any difference’ I smile ‘you know, when im with you I feel like im a normal human, no gifts, nothing different at all’ Alexus starts to blush ‘sometimes, I want to be more like your kind. Being able to do all those awesome things, being able to do something for others because of those abilities’ ‘im the only one that uses them for good that I know of, my two siblings, well adopted siblings, they’re my enemy now’ Alexus leaned against my shoulder ‘yama-kun, would you protect me?’ I give her a puzzled look, ‘protect you, Im training you so you’d be able to take care of yourself, but yes, I would protect you, you’re the first to act this way to me since I was 8 years old. And even then there were people who hated me, but there were people who cared’ Alexus smiled and fell asleep on my lap ‘then let me stay like this, let me stay with you…’ I took my jacket off and lay backwards, I moved Alexus so she lay with her head over my arm and I covered us both with my jacket and fell asleep ‘if that is what you wish, then ok’





it took me a while to write so enjoy. ill post chapters 5-6 soon, hopefully.
