   Randomness...
As if you expect anything else...

For those who wonder...polylingual means I can communicate in many languages. I speak English, I can sign, I took three years of German in college, can fake enough Spanish to get by (Spanglish, anyone?) and am learning Japanese. I also can understand a fair bit of Latin, but can't really speak it, and have sung in Hebrew, so I know a few words. My favorite words are: sensual (relating to or affecting any of the senses or a sense organ; sensory), kirikirimai (Japanese for a whirl, going round and round, or rushing a person off his feet) v'rotznim (I can't remember exactly, but it's Hebrew and either means to take council or kings of the earth), and sed quid in infernos dict? (more than one word, I know, but Latin for "but what in the hell does it say?").

I really love language and words. I love to listen to people speak and hear how everyone talks differently. I work with a lot of people from the Philipenes and they speak Tagalog a lot and it's interesting to me to hear the rhythm of the language, and how their cadence in English is different from a native speaker. I also work with a lady from India and her cadence is different as well. I can almost pick out where people are from by how they speak English, even if they don't have much of an accent. It's kinda neat. There are nice things about working in an airport :D

Well...I guess that covers it :D Ja
