   The holidays from hell!!!
(Sorry its so long folks! A lot happened)

I sure hope you guys had a great holiday season, 'cause I sure haven't. I had to stay in a house full of insane old people! (Sehkment: Can I tourture them? Breeze: ....maybe later...(but I did some great Inu-Yasha fanart that I shall post as soon as I get the scanner hooked up) Oh, but thats not the start! On our (me, me mommy, me daddy, and me gramma!) way home Christmas day is where it started. We were in Minneapolis (brrr!) so we flew outta there. Everything was fine, and we even had a great tailwind going to Detroit, so we'd arrive 15 minutes early. We were thinking "Hey, this is great! We'll be home in time for [adult swim]! (.....okay, that last bit was me....) So we get to Detroit and find our next and (suposedly) last flight was an hour late. We thought "Ok, we can deal with this. This'll give us time for dindin" (these were evening flights. we left Mn. at 'bout 5:30) But then my parents find out Michigan has blue laws against the sell of alcohol from 9pm Xmas eve till 12noon the 26th. Well me mommy and daddy no happy 'cause they have no beer to get them through the next flight. They could deal as long as we got home that night. Next we hear the people behind the desk at our gate calling for the flight attendant. We waited another hour. They called her a couple more times. She didn't show up for work. So the next thing we know our flight is cancled. the 80 people on the plane wern't happy, nor were the people on the other halfa dozen flights that got cancled.(I think they all got the blue flu.(useing their sick days to bring the airlines to a screaching halt)) So we wait about 3-4 hours in lines to get our flights resceduled and a hotel for the night. We got to the hotel at about 2:30 in the mornin. (no [adult swim] for helio....) The next morning (the 26th) we hafta get up at 6:30 in the mornin. And I'm sure all of you know that the 26th of December is the busiest travel day of the year. And it didn't help that the lady who rebooked us was at the end of week of 18 hour shifts. Well our first flight of the second day took us from Detroit, MI to Columbus, OH. Not to Columbia, SC. (we knew this, but its just so close!! ...in spelling at least) Well we had to go wait in a long line to get boarding passes and then go through security (for the third time!). And guess what? We were randomly chosen to get thoroughly searched. And they just didn't want to let my dad though with his titanium knee. I thought they were gonna have a field day with my bag, but they didn't.... Well we then find out that we were gonna be bumped from this flight (that was 1.5 hours late), but some people cancled, so we got their seats. And then from Columbus we flew to Charlotte, NC. And the next flight home was at 10:30 tonite, and if we had waited for it we would still be there. But we rented a car (which NorthWest is not paying for) and made it home in a hour and a half. Oh, and this part is the kicker. We don't know where in this country our luggage is. It could be anythere from Detroit to Houston. And like I said before, I hope everybody out there had a much better Christmas than I did. But I got a stuffed Kyo-kittie!!(next I'm getting the Yuki rat plushie!) I carried him all around the airports along with my little white tiger named Little Blaze. (Yes, Summoner Rekka & Luna, in honor of White Blaze)
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good (and un-airplane-obstruced) night!
