I need a big billboard...
Or something! Dang, I'm running out of ideas for how to get hits on my site.

Not this one.

But Hidden Faces, my webpage. It's a GW fanart site, so I can understand why it's struggling (not too many wing fans out there anymore), and I don't own it, so it has ads. But it has my art--a bit more than is posted here--and the art of a friend...and I just don't know how you get hits on a site like that.

Last I checked...I had 16. Am I just impatient, or setting too high of a goal?

Any suggestions?

   Penbee's not so stupid after all!
I found it. Mariposa China, I mean. It was stored away on one of the other computers in the house, and I just had to have sense enough to remember which one, which file, and then go retrieve it. Whew! Wu and Sal are back in action.

Um, yeah, this will sound dumb, considering...but does anyone else here even like Wufei? Or am I entertaining only myself with my art?

Not that I really care if you all are Wu-haters, Wu-indifferent, or have no idea what the hay I'm talking about, but I'd like to know, just the same. I'll still draw him. Wufei is, after all, my favorite.

That's not to say, I don't like the others...I am amazingly happy with the ease that Duo "All-American" turned out. Wow. I've never had a picture seem to draw itself before. Stroke of Luck.


On another note. Winter recess is over in about two weeks (yes, I got a longer one than the local highschool! ^_^) and I think things might slow down a bit. But hopefully this semester will be better than the last and I can get more pics done in between classes.

   It's funny, if you think about it...
I think I made my own fanart disappear...Not all of it, just "Mariposa China," the first that was up (a 5/S pic, because Wu is my favorite). I'm not sure how. But it's been gone a while. Must've been the dumb lass (sorry, word for the day) I am and pushed a wrong button.

It'll be back, eventually. Maybe, while I'm working on digging it up and putting it back, I'll get around to making that Kenshin pic. If I find good refs. Chibu owns the manga, so I guess I gotta use that.

   Rambling along...
Duo's been posted. He's a lil experiment with the new watercolors I got for xmas. Turned out okay. Chibu's mad that I drew Duo so well. Oh well. We'll live.

I've got another guestbook sign. This time from RavenSama. It's just so cool when people stop by and leave me little post-it notes! It really does make me happy. I refuse to beg for reviews and guestbook-signings, but I love when someone does. (Hint Hint)

Anywho. Lately I've been having trouble getting myotaku and anipike to load right. Need a faster connection speed, me thinks.

I also wish there was a neat way to spiffy up my site here, but angelfire doesn't let file sharing. Where am I supposed to store the images? Oh, who knows...

Bummer. I gotta go back for the next semester soon. Less time. Ick. School.

Gee, that puts a sour damper on things, don't it?

   In with the New Year...
I've decided to change up the profile. Seeing how it's hard to get my two buddies (Sam, and Chibi Boo) to do anything, I've decided to make this a just Penbee thing. Not like it wasn't already...

Now, my New Year resolution is to make this just soo much better. I want to get off my butt and update more often. If nothing else, a pic a month would be good.

I tired out new watercolor pencils this week (an xmas gift) and was very pleased with the result. As soon as Duo's pants are done, and the paper's dried, he's going up.

I also plan to do a Kenshin pic, seeing as how lovely Ken-san would look in watercolors. He's such a lovely bishie.

Let me know what you think. Make suggestions!

   A question...
Ooo! A guest! I actually now have a guestbook entry! I'm so thrilled! Thank you, twiggii tristis!

Okay, calm down Pen-san. Breath. In, out. Issues, seriously. Yeah, truly, what a freak I am. But anywho, I do enjoy this.

My site is down for winter holiday, and, as soon as I finish my "important stuff" (namely finals and papers..urgh), Hidden Faces will be smiling again and there ought to be one or two more pics up.

I want to do a Gundam Wing winter-holiday pic, probably a pairing. Any suggestions? I'm not saying requests, although I realize a suggestion usually doubles as a request for something you'd like to see, but I'm not going to guarantee that what someone suggests is indeed what I'll draw, but I'm open to ideas. Maybe you'll spark a creative thought I wouldn't have otherswise considered.

Uh...that's if anybody actually reads this...heh.

But if you do, these are my few guidelines:

- suggestions can be posted as private messages or guestbook entries...whichever you prefer.

- canon and alternate pairings are both acceptable.

- non-yaoi preferrably. If they aren't doing anything suggestive, I do enjoy drawing the boys in groups of two or threes (not as pairings, but friend-group pics are acceptable suggestions)

That's all. Like I said, no one probably cares, but if you're interested, by all means I'm open to ideas.



Oh, I forgot. One more pic up. Kira, from Gundam SEED. He currently graces my notebook cover, but it's a horrible print-out. Printer lines, ick.

   Snoozing on the job...
I'm going to have to get more stuff up, when it gets done. I don't know about any of you, but so far as updating, Sam, Boo and I snooze on the job. Eeep. One of these days I swear I will not procrastinate. Hm, sure.

Currently Mariposa China is up, and hopfully people like it enough. It was pure chance that it turned out as well as it did. Really. I drew it, inked it, and colored it in about...three days? Something like that. It was originally done around the time I joined the WuSal2 group at Yahoo (just recently), and I had so much fun making up stuff for the pic, although the peacock feathers drove me insane. No good pic to go by. Ah well.

Wufei is one of my favorite Wing boys to draw, so one might imagine there will be more of him to come (there are a few more pics at my site, one of which is another pic of Wufei, if you're interested).

Sally's nice too, but I don't draw her very often.

The Wing girl I usually like drawing is Dorothy, but I generally pair her with... *braces for barage of rotten veggies from various diehard fans* ...Trowa. *ouch, as a particularly hard carrot thwaps Penbee's head* (I'm well aware people find me insane, but I like them together! Really!). That said, I was mentioning that since I usually pair her with Trowa, and I'm not esspecially good at him, one might not expect much in the way of pairing pics. Besides, more than one person is kinda hard to do.

As for the others, I like to draw Duo, Quatre (although Q is kind of hard to draw), as well as Heero and Relena on occasion. But there's just so many good 1/R pics out there.

So for now, I'm still figuring things out with my site and here. It's fun to learn new things, but not when you're supposed to be doing other so-called "more important" things.

Procrastination is so bad. I should really stop putting things off.
Eh. I'll do it tomorrow.
