Osu! Ora Goku!
Woah...what an unexpected and looong absence from MyO. I figured with school and all, I'd not update a day or two, but a WEEK?! How did I let that happen? My deepest apologies, and I've missed you all!

Yesterday night was a bit bitter sweet for me, with DBGT ending for the Emglish version and all. But I realized something very surprising. WAY before I had even heard of Shonen Jump, this is the time where I only knew Sailor Moon, I had seen a bit of Yu Yu Hakusho on Adult Swim, even though it was forbidden for me to watch it. "Kuwabara: A Promise Between Men" was the first glimpse of YYH I ever got. What I watched that night was from the part where Kuwabara is walking and studying and those three thugs decide to beat on him (or at least try to.) Yusuke posseses a girl's body and kicks their asses. The only reason I remembered that was because of that "kid with the funny hair" a la Yusuke. I can still recall that night, so that episode holds special meaning to me. It gave me my first impression of the show (I thought Yusuke was Kuwa's gaurdian and Kuwa was the hero of the story.)

DragonBall GT's final episode was soooo much more emotional in the Japanese version, so the English version only caused tears because it was ending and the impending doom that they might actually start GT over and not return DBZ to Toonami where it deserves to be. In the Japanese version I got some cool unedited material from the flashback scenes whereas the old English version left me wanting more. The only version I had seen previous to last night's English version was one year ago on the IC channel where it was shown in Japanese with no subtitles, so it was nice to know what they were talking about, though I doubt the Japanese script would be fairly translated. Why am I going on about this you may ask? I spent a fair amount of time relaxing and reading English/Japanese DBZ episode comparisons.

I had to witness Trunks's death in the Cell Game Saga (anime version) for the first time.

To say the least, it isn't my favorite moment. The blood-puking was the worst part: an anime exclusive.

I got a B on that Science project I was whining about. Yay!

Ja mate ne!^^
