yup
I got new 'System of a Down' cd a few days ago. SOAD is my favorite band because I like their music(naw....). I like their music, because it's loud and I don't have to think much when I listen to it( and you can't understand the lyrics, so they don't get it the way of the music). Why do I like loud music? That is an interesting question...
I like loud music because it distracts me. I listen to music for the same reason people play games, it keeps our minds off of what's really going on. Because what's really going on sUcks(notice the capital 'u'). I'm not saying this is true for everybody, I'm just saying that that's true for the people I have observed(i.e. my family). People will play any game, !ANY GAME! ('Life of a peasant' is one of my favorite examples....) Just because they are bored with what is going on.
This is one of those things that seems like a good idea at first, but ends up destroying the universe/human race(though they're the same thing according to some people....). The longer we hide from life, the longer it will suck.
It's hard, though. Laziness pays off now, thus, breeding more laziness. This eventually led me to a conclusion that humans just don't care about what's going on. They steal, they kill, and they do other stupid things. But after a disaster, like a hurricane for example, they're all eager to help anybody that needs it. That thought confused me for years.
Until, while walking the track in Gym, I relized that humans are too complex to define so simply, so I abandoned my previous theory in favor of a new one. 'Humans react according to what is happening at the moment, without regard to the future'. This is just a theory and I will need to do more research(or watching random people.....) to be completely satisfied.
The theory compliments another one that I have. I do not believe there is a reason for anything, other than 'something happened, so something else happened because of that'. That may offend some of the more open-minded people, but that is what I believe. So, by combining the two, I have just explained how the universe works. 'Chaos' is the word that best defines it. Things happen, more things happen because of that. 'Cause and effect'(like da Matrix lol, though I wouldn't take advice from that movie....) is really all that can be assumed about the universe.
I'm gonna stop now, I have urgent business to attend( sleeping and talking to friends mostly.....)
No praise please, but autographs are available, hehe....
