Hey y'all! How's it going? I'm pretty good! Tho yesterday I had this headache and I didnt feel so well... could barely stand at one point, I had to go lay down for a while and felt a bit better afterwards. Hey y'all! How's it going? Well, my day was alright. I found out in class that we have a test on monday... no, actually we were supposed to have it now but it was re-scheduled to monday (I knew about the test, I just forgot to mention it) I was expecting to get it over with now but oh well... more time to study I guess. And since we didnt have the test, we had the usual class... I thought it was less boring than usual for some reason... weird I know, especially coming from me,lol. That's all there is to say about my day class-wise. Other than that I downloaded more manga! Bleach 201 was available! And well, that was a pretty cool chapter... I gotta say I was really surprised, wow... if you read it you'd know what I'm talking about. And I got Mai Hime chapter 2... pretty good so far.

Hey y'all! Wassup? Had a fun Halloween I hope. Anyway... tuesday... it went pretty well, I handed that other report that I was working on... finished just in time too. I'm done with reports for the week... I have another one due next thursday but it's a pretty easy one... should be done quickly enough... given that I dont slack off that is, lol. And that's all about my day... oh wait, remember that anime Mai Hime? I posted pics of it some time ago... yeah, anyway, I downloaded the first chapter of the manga and read it... it's pretty good! I'm gonna download more of it. The series is completed too it seems... only 44 chapters total.

I changed the music... this week's band is Sublime... I dunno if any of you know them... they're pretty cool. Currently playing is Santeria... enjoy!

This week's series: Tenjou Tenge

Hey y'all! How's it going? Had a nice day? Meh, how nice can monday be huh? Well, apart from the fact that I was really tired from lack of sleep... it was a pretty good day I guess... class was alright... I handed in my report and yeah. But like I said I was so sleepy... I could have fallen asleep at any time, lol.
Other than that, I got nothing... oh yeah, sorry I couldnt get to everybody's sites yesterday... I was working on those reports -_- that's what I get for slacking off... I end up with a lot of work on the day before the due date, heh.

This week's series is Tenjou Tenge (also spelled Tenjho Tenge).
[Synopsis]
Souchirou Nagi and Bob Makihara are two delinquents who arrive at Toudou Academy with the objective of ruling over the school with their strength. But on their first day, they encountered the Jyuukenbu, a martial arts group of the school. Members of the group, Maya Natsume, her sister Aya, and Masataka Takayanagi easily overpowered Souchirou and Bob. And what's more, due to what was assumed to be their "connections" with the Jyuukenbu, the two were attacked by members of the Enforcement Group, which oversees the martial arts groups of the school. Drawn into the personal conflicts between the Jyuukenbu and the Enforcement Group, Souchirou and Bob have no choice but to join up with Maya Natsume's group and to hone their skills to become even stronger.

I saw the first two episodes at the convention... I gotta say it's pretty cool. I definitely want to see more of it. The Natsume sisters are hot! Lol

Hey y'all! Wassup? Had a nice weekend? Well, I had the usual lazy sunday, lol. Tho I did work on my reports... finished the one due monday (all that's left is to print it out) and I'm nearly done with the one due tuesday... then I have that other due in a week or so. You know... I'm getting tired of reports right about now, lol... cant wait till the year's over... 4 weeks to go! That's 2 weeks of actual classes, 1 week for revision and the exam week.
Other than that, I got nothing... I chatted online a lot again yesterday... it was fun.

I changed the song yet again... Nothing Else Matters. Everyone knows that one... or maybe not, lol. Oh, I can play it on the guitar... it's one of the first songs I learned how to play actually. Anyway, enjoy!

Hey y'all! How's it going? Having a nice weekend so far? Mine's pretty good... tho I have to work on those reports... oh well, it's going well... pretty easy. Also, I've been working on that new drawing of mine... looking good so far I think.
Last night was pretty funny... I watched Family Guy and then Scary Movie 2 was on, haha... so yeah that was cool. Then the re-run of 24 came on so I watched that too.

Glad y'all seem to like the new layout! I wasnt really sure cos orange's not really my favourite colour... I do like how the layout turned out tho. Heh, and it's also dedicated to someone (you know who you are, lol).

Oh, I went to the theatre and saw Corpse Bride! It was pretty good I'd say... pretty funny too. I liked it. Hey, Johnny Depp voices Victor! Lol. Check it out sometimes. Hey y'all! How's it going? My day was pretty good... not having class and all, lol. I worked some more on my projects... I'm nearly done with the ones that are due next week... so that's good. Other than that... the usual stuff... spent a lot of time on the computer. Oh yeah, I actually started drawing a pic! Been a while since I've drawn an actual one... I'm not talking about the doodles I do during classes, lol. It's looking pretty good so far.
24 was on last night... so of course I watched that... it was awesome! Then I played some Guilty Gear Izuka (the game I bought for under half price at the convention). And that's pretty much it.

I changed the layout! Well, I'm still working on it so bear with me... Halloween is coming soon so I thought I'd put up a orange-black background... what do you think? Also, I changed the music... Sad but True... enjoy!

Hey y'all! Wassup? Well, I had a pretty good day... class was alright. We had another lab experiment so yeah, that was pretty cool... tho now, we have another report due in two weeks *sigh* oh well, it's actually pretty easy. And I still have two reports to work on for next week... I'm pretty much done with one of them tho... yep, all that's left is to proofread it and print it out. One report to go for next week... and then, the other one... man, cant wait till it's over... 4 weeks left!

And now, I'm gonna talk about my last day at the convention!

Day 3:
Well, the nice weather was still there so that was cool. Like the other days, we arrived there 40 minutes or so before it opened... we joined the people-that-already-had-a-ticket line and waited. Oh, check out the line for the people that didnt have a ticket...

Anyway, we waited... the doors opened... we got in. We walked around a bit and we saw this place with celebrity guests signing autographs and stuff...

After that we went straight to the anime screening room! It hadnt started yet and we got there just in time for the first anime. Okay, here's how it went:
-Mahoromatic (3 eps): This one's actually pretty good... very funny!
-Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (2 eps): I saw those eps in a previous convention... oh well, it's a good series.
-Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex: 2nd Gig (1 ep): I didnt know about this one... but like the previous one, it's cool. (note: this one was actually from Day 2... forgot to mention it)
-Onegai Twins (2 eps): Heh, this one's pretty funny.
-Berserk (1 ep): That one was cool! Too bad it was only one episode...
-Madlax (1 ep): Pretty good as well.
-DNAngel (1 ep): Alright I guess...
-Evangelion (2 eps): I already saw all of the series... oh well, this is a good series.
-Saiyuki (2 eps): 'twas alright I guess...
-Tenjho Tenge (2 eps): This one's cool! Lots of fight and stuff, lol
-Gun Parade March (2 eps): This one's pretty good... with robots kicking aliens' butts, lol

There was more japanese versions than the other days... Mahoromatic, Onegai Twins and Evangelion... so that was pretty cool!
And yeah... oh, there were posters on the room's walls... anime posters... and after the last anime was shown, they told everyone that was still there that we could take the posters! For free! So yeah, I got one... it has Gantz on one side and Robotech on the other side... that's the only one I could get... everyone was taking them down... oh well, at least I got one. Anyway, after we left the anime room, we looked around a bit more and there he was!

I didnt know where they were during the whole time since we got in before they did and then we spent most of the day in the anime room so yeah. Then I bought something I thought I'd never buy...



That's right... plushies... but hey, they're not just any plushies... they're from Bleach so yeah... just had to buy them... be jealous, lol.

And there you have it... 3rd and last day of the convention... it was indeed one great weekend! Came back poorer but it was all worth it!

Heh, guess it's gonna be back to boring posts from now on... meh, deal with it, lol. Y'all have a good day now! Okay, shutting up.

Hey y'all! How's it going? I had a nice day I guess... class was kinda boring tho... heh, I was drawing through most of it... whatever. Anyway, other than that, I worked on my projects that are due next week... going okay so far I think. That's pretty much it for the day... oh wait, I downloaded chapter 200 of Bleach! Wow, 200...

Okay, now that's out of the way, I'll talk about the convention some more...

Day2:
When I woke up and looked outside, it was actually sunny! It was raining most of the previous day so that was kinda surprising... then again, the weather's pretty messed up and changes often. Anyway, we get ready and we head down to the convention. Like the first day, we arrived 40 or so minutes before the gates open... the good thing tho is that there was another for people that already had a ticket... us since we bought the 3-day pass... so yeah, shorter line, less waiting. When the door opened we were in in like 3 minutes. We got inside and well, it was the same the first day... shop and stand wise. Okay, pictures... there's gonna be less pics tho.
There was a DJ there... near the anime DVD stand... so that was pretty cool... with all the noise that people made, some music was a good idea.

They were selling old Newtype USA issues at the DVD stand... so I bought some of them... and yes, they were cheaper than in the stores... like 2 for the price of one.
Anyway, we walked around a bit and saw this Star Wars set kinda thing where you could take pics and whatnot...

That was pretty cool... then we walked around a bit more and yeah...


Hmm... cosplayers? Cool outfits, lol

Ahem... anyway... when we saw all there was to see, we headed to the anime room! We got there at 10:30 or so. When we arrived, Last Exil was screening... I have no idea what episode it was... but it was the end of the episode (saw like the last 5 minutes or so) then they changed to another anime... well, here's how it went:

-Haibane Renmei (1 ep): been wanting to see that one for a while... it's pretty good.
-Voltron (2 eps): that one's an oldie... 1984!
-Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO) (1 ep): that's a cool one! I read the manga but never saw the anime before.
-Maburaho (2 eps): they already showed that one on a previous convention... same eps too... oh well, it's pretty good I guess... kinda funny.
-Gunslinger Girl (2 eps): this one's pretty good!
-Scrapped Princess (3 eps): I finally get to see it! From what I saw I think it's great.
-Kare Kano (3 eps): same as Maburaho... saw those eps on a previous convention.
-Cromartie High School (1 ep): haha, that one is so freaking funny!! Awesome.
-Ikki Tousen (2 eps): that's a pretty cool one too I guess.

Again, they were all english dubbed *sigh* well, except for Maburaho... meh, it was cool tho, saw lots of anime. Tho the dubbing for Voltron was pretty bad... maybe cos it's old and stuff...

Hey y'all! How's it going? I had an okay day I guess... tho it kinda sucked I had to go back to class... oh well. Anyway, class was kinda boring but not too bad... blah blah blah... who cares? *silence* yeah... that's what I thought...

Okay, I said I was gonna talk about the convention so here we go...

Day 1:
The weather was kinda sucky that day... it was raining... but I didnt let that stop me, lol. We got there (my sis went too) there already was a bit of a crowd... we arrived about 45 minutes before the opening (which was at 9).

Good thing the line was sheltered from the rain. Anyway, so we had to wait until the gates opened for the line to finally start moving. 45 minutes later, the line starts moving... and about half an hour after that, we see the gates...

Oh, and while we were in line there were some Star Wars cosplayers walking around...

Anyway, after a while, we finally reached the entrance... it was about 9:30-9:45 or so. We bought the tickets (3 day pass) and we were in at last! The wait was worth it. Then I saw another trooper walking around so...


Yeah, I asked for a pic and voila! I look high... lol.

We went up one level to reach the video games level (yeah, it wasnt all anime). It was awesome! All the new games (some arent even on sale yet) and I bought Guilty Gear Isuka... it was less than the retail price! That's what's cool about conventions... the stuff they sell is generally cheaper than it the stores. Oh wait pics...

We went up another level... where they sell all types of anime stuff... figures, OSTs, DVDs, artbooks and whatnot. So many cool stuff! I wish I could have bought it all, lol. That's where I saw the Rukia figure... and yeah, I just had to buy it!

After that, we walked around and looked at all the cool stuff they were selling... by the time we saw all the stands it was about 11 am... so we thought we'd look for the anime screening room. We got there and they were showing Bakuretsu Tenshi... it was the first episode too and we didnt miss much of it. They showed the first two eps... it was pretty cool. After that they showed more anime shows... we pretty much stayed there for the rest of the day, lol. The anime shows were:
-Bakuretsu Tenshi (2 eps): pretty cool I'd say... kick ass chicks, lol.
-Full Metal Panic! Fumoffu (2 eps): that one's so funny!
-Midori no Hibi (2 eps): I knew that one since I read all the manga... it's good, and funny too.
-Otogi Zoshi (3 eps): I had never heard about this one until now... it's good!
-Stellvia (2 eps): that one was alright I guess... kinda funny too.
-Kino no Tabi (3 eps): this one's a bit weird but still pretty good.
-Gundam Seed (1 ep): okay, I didnt really get it since it was only the first ep... it was good tho.

Yeah, cool stuff right there... too bad they were all english dubbed... except for Stellvia which was shown in japanese with english subs. What sucks is that now that I've seen the first few eps of all these series... I want to see more now, lol... one day maybe... one day...
So yeah, we watched anime until about 5:30 pm, lol. After that, we looked around a bit more before leaving.

And that's pretty much it... that was the first of three convention days... and this post is getting long so I'll stop there... more tomorrow! This post got pretty long so yeah... well, shutting up now.
