Hey everyone! How's it going? It's 2007 now, wow. Well, Happy New Year! Told you I'd post... a bit late again but hey. XD So how was New Year's eve? Had fun I hope... anyone got drunk? *raises hand* heh, yeah I had fun. The night kinda got off to bad start... kinda... long story. Anyway, the point is I did have fun after all so it's all good. Went to sleep at 5 am again... not because I wanted to but because I had to... see, I wasnt the one driving and I didnt have any other ride home so yeah.
Other than that, I'm just chilling and the weather's still switching back and forth from very hot to rainy (no speedos involved, pshh). Still watching anime of course... and I watched quite a lot:
-Speed Grapher. Finished. Awesome anime, watch it. Ginza's hott XD
-Basilisk. Finished. Kicks ass.
-Shakugan no Shana. Finished. Another cool one.
-Bakuretsu Tenshi. Finished. Pretty good.
-Moon Phase. Cute. Yes, cute.
-Mai Hime. 5 eps to go. Great stuff.
-Mai Otome. Just started, up to ep 3. Pretty good so far.

Hey, look who's here! XD It's been a while huh... one month, wow. Sorry I didnt post sooner, a lot has been happening and I didnt have the time. Well I did stop by a few times tho. Anyway, how's everyone? Had a nice Christmas? Oh, Merry Christmas by the way! (Tho I'm a bit late with that) I had fun this Christmas, nice dinner with the family and whatnot. Then after that I went with my cousin, picked up a few friends of his and had a late night drinking session! XD It was great as usual... went home at 5:30 am, heh. Then woke up at 1 pm yesterday, haha. Other than that, everything's been alright since I came back, I saw most of my family and caught up with my friends... so yeah, it's all good I guess. It's really hot over here, when it's not raining that is. But what better way to spend a sunny day than going to the beach, right? Yep, that's the good part.

Alright, this is it... my last post for a while. I have to tell you that I wont make it to sites after I post this, so feel free to stop reading. Anyway, I got everything ready and packed. As to how my last day went, it was alright... heh, the weather suddenly cleared up. Good timing? Anyway, I spent most of the day on the computer because well, I wont have that so often (if at all). I had nice chats too these last few days. Speaking of chats, I had one with one of my friends from back home! I hadnt spoke to him in a long time. When I saw him online I thought "good timing, I can tell him I'm coming back tomorrow" but then he tells me that he's been to my site and read my post about it. So he knew. Heh, then he tells that he's currently in France (has been for the whole semester and I didnt even know!) to further advance in his studies... as it turns out, he got his 3rd year diploma, which is awesome of course and I was glad to hear that. It's just a shame that he wont be there when I get back. Another friend going his separate way.
Other than that, I went to see 'Borat' which was a really funny movie. Check it out, unless you get offended easily, heh.

Hey, how's it going? Nice weekend? Mine's alright... we had some semi-nice weather today, it rained pretty bad yesterday. Anyway, the main reason I'm posting is because there's something I have to tell you about... heh, sounds kinda dramatic, lol. Okay, to some of you, who have known me long enough, it wont be much of a surprise. With the end of the school year, I'll be leaving NZ and going back home... when? Next sunday. And I'm looking forward to it of course, seeing my family and friends again... and with the holidays coming, you can be sure there's gonna be some partying *cough*drinking*cough* XD It just sucks that I wont be online much due to no internet >_> that's basically the only bad thing about it. And when I do get online, it'll be low speed connection.

Heh, I figured I should post. Sup? Well like I said this past week was exam week... how did it go you ask? Alright I guess. I did my best, hopefully it's gonna be enough. All that's left is wait. But who cares about that, it's officially the end of my school year! With a somewhat early start summer break. Now if only the weather would clear up. Anyway, my weekend was okay... I spent most of it playing Kingdom Hearts 2. Ah, I just realised I never mentioned getting the game, heh. Well I already beat it, I'm just working on 100% completion.
Randomness:
-the first season of Prison Break ended... that last episode was awesome.
-24 gets better and better with each episode.
-reached chapter 251 of Bleach... cool stuff.
-because of BECK (anime), I've been playing guitar a lot lately, lol. Oh, and if you saw it before, you should recognize the music I put up. Enjoy.
Okay, I promised pics from day 3 of the convention so here goes... feel free to skip this part.

So it was monday, october 23rd. Woke up at 7:30, got ready, got there, waited, blah blah blah. XP Anyway, once inside, it was pretty much the same as the other days... the same stands selling the same stuff, the video games and whatnot. But it was still cool tho, hey, it's a convention!
Then, the first event I went to, was the AMV contest at 12:00. They didnt do AMV contests in the previous cons so that was cool. You could see that they're still new at this (making AMVs I mean)... dont get me wrong tho, the videos were pretty good. There were 10 entries... let's see, two of Comboy Bebop, two of DNAngel, one of Excel Saga, one of Happy Lesson, one of Midori Days, one of Kingdom Hearts 2, one of Lupin III and the last one I cant remember ^^; heh. Both Cowboy Bebop ones placed 1st and 2nd... cant remember which one was 3rd either.
After that, we had to wait a while for the next event to take place... the pizza eating contest! XD It was 3:00 pm I think. There were 4 different rounds... each with different contestants. Basically what they did was pick random people from the crowd... and no, I didnt enter, lol. Okay, how about some pics?
Round 1: eating a whole pizza. Time limit: 5 minutes. Winner is the one who finishes first (stating the obvious here) or eats the most of his pizza within the time limit.
Round 2: spicy pizza. Time limit: 5 minutes. Same rules except they only had to eat half the pizza. It did seem very spicy, some of them were struggling to eat it... I felt sorry for that one kid (the one on the right, see how small he is?).
Round 3: hands-free eating contest. Time limit: 5 minutes. Again, only half a pizza. Like the name implies, they couldnt use their hands, this was definitely the best round to watch lol.
Round 4: teams. No time limit. Each team member had to eat half a pizza. Here's the catch, the one who's eating cant use their hands but is fed by their teammate. When the first one finished their half, they switched places. This round was funny too, haha.
So that was the pizza eating contest... it was fun to watch. Oh, and see the people standing with their mics? They're voice actors/celebrity guests. I think two of them worked in Yu-Gi-Oh. Basically, they were there to act as judges, kinda. They were cheering the contestants but also distract them, especially the two guys... making puking noises and whatnot, lol. Anyway, the winners of each round won some pretty cool prizes and the others got coupons for, you guessed it, pizza!
After that, we had to wait again for the next event, the cosplay contest at 4:00 pm. There were some great costumes, they all got in a line and they each got on the stage and did a presentation of which character they are and from what show.

I dont remember who the winners are... there were different categories, best costume, most original and whatnot. But hey, you can still try and guess what series are cosplayed. When the contest was over, the cosplayers headed to another room so that, anyone who wanted, could get a closer look at their costumes and also for photos.

And that's the cosplay. By then, you'd think that was a pretty full day right? Well, there actually was one last event... the giant pillow fight! Yes, a pillow fight. I didnt enter that one either and there's a few reasons: 1) I was kinda tired from walking around all day 2) there was nowhere to leave all my stuff and 3) it was mostly kids anyway.
Check out all these people. Heh, there was pillow fluff flying all over the place after a while.
Even Spyro the dragon was there!
I watched for a while then left. After that, I went to take one last look at all the cool stuff that I couldnt afford to buy *sigh* lol. Then I left at about 6:00.
The convention this year was awesome, better than last year's in my opinion. I wonder if I'll go to next year's one.

Hey, how's it going? Heh, I still have that cough. Other than that, I'm alright. Anyway, we actually finished our classes... exams are next week. >_< So I'm not gonna be online because, well, I need to study. After that, the school year will officially be over! Wish me luck =P
Okay, I said I'd post about day 2 of the convention so I'm gonna go straight to that now. Fell free to skip this part tho.

It was pretty much the same, wake up at 7:30, get there at 8:30 and get into the queue and wait for 9:00 for the doors to open. Oh, but while we were waiting in line, we spotted cosplayers!
Catwoman and Lulu from FFX, pretty cool.
Anyway, the door opened and got in within 5 minutes. Once inside, there was the same stuff... I stopped by that one stand and watch the Hellgate London trailer again... seriously, that game looks kick-ass. Then on to level 2 and checking out the video games. The trailers for the PS3 looked so cool, with great graphics. Oh, then I played Scarface (PS2) for a while and it was pretty cool. Anyone seen the movie? Awesome stuff, right?
On the next level, it was the celebrity guests signing area.
And there she is, Summer Glau from Firefly. I didnt get her autograph tho ;_;
Some of the other guests. If you're familiar with Stargate SG-1 (I think that's what they're from ^^;), you might recognise these guys. Oh, and there's the 'french woman' from Lost too.
Then I went to check out some more anime goodies... man, there were so many cool figurines! There was one of Saber from Fate / Stay Night which was awesome... but I didnt buy. Oh, and there was also an anime DVD stand, with discount prices! And well, you cant just let this opportunity pass you by, lol. So yeah, I bought the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex complete collection... 7 DVDs in one box ^^
After all the walking around and buying stuff, I went and sat down in the animation room and watched some anime. I dont quite remember everything they showed but I know I had already seen them before. I know there was Ghost in the Shell: Innocence, Tenjho Tenge among others. There was this anime called Erementar Gerad which and I never saw before... eps 1 and 2. Pretty good. Mai Hime and Gundam Seed Destiny.
And that's pretty much it for day 2. Sorry there isnt that many pics. Actually, there are other photos but they're either of the same things I've already shown or they came out blurry. But there's quite a lot for day 3, mostly because the cosplay contest took place that day among other fun stuff, so look forward to that lol. After I'm done with the exams of course tho.
Oh wait! I bought anime t-shirts too!
SOS Brigade! Yes, get jealous, heh. When I saw it, I just HAD to get it XD If you dunno what anime that's from, it's Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu. Check it out.

In other news, I finished Eureka SeveN! I wont say anything about the ending tho so that those of you that are still watching dunno what's coming lol. But I'll just say that this series, overall, is awesome... so if you havent seen it yet, check it out. One last thing, Anemone + theEND = kick-ass XD
I saw Black Lagoon ep 15. The part with the twins is now over. Good episode, kinda sad tho.

Okay, I said I'll post pictures of the convention so here goes...
Day 1, saturday october 21st. I woke up at around 7 am, got ready and left. There was already quite a lot of people when we got there. But we got to wait in the shorter queue because we bought tickets beforehand, heh. So we had to wait until 9 am before the doors opened. In the meantime, there was these two guys doing a skit in front of everyone to promote the stuff they sold in the convention... mostly medieval related stuff.
Yeah, they were dueling.

We finally got in and one of the first stands I went to was showing the preview of this game called Hellgate London. It looked really cool. (I went to the website and downloaded the trailers/videos, they're THAT cool). And another one with a game called EVE Online which looked pretty cool too. Oh, and they were handing out cards with a password on them to go to the website and download a free 14-day trial version. Awesome, right? I havent used mine yet tho haha.
Then on the level above, it was video games galore... PS2's, PSPs, X-box's everywhere! XD Even previews for upcoming PS3 games, so cool.

Next level up, they were selling anime related goodies like figurines, artbooks, shirts and whatnot. Well, I bought myself a few things.
YES! One of the LFO's from Eureka SeveN!! Isnt it cool? Too bad they didnt have Type theEND or Nirvash... this one's the 606 piloted by Matthieu. Yes, it changes to humanoid mode too and it's fully articulated. And with the board... jealous yet? XD
After that, I went to watch the anime they were showing in the animation room. I had already seen most of them like Eureka SeveN eps 1&2, Naruto eps 1&2, GUNxSWORD eps 1&2, Dragonball Z movie 13: Wrath of the Dragon. But there was Basilisk eps 1&2 as well. That's another cool series I added to my watch list, heh.
And this will have to do for now... I dont remember much else. =P Days 2 and 3 in other updates.

Hey, been a while! My bad... guess I got lazy there, lol. So, how's it going? I dont feel so good... well I dont feel that bad either. I still have that coughing going, bleh. But I didnt let that ruin my weekend tho. Like I said, I had a three day weekend, which was spent going to the convention! Yes, it was awesome and I had a lot of fun. Watching anime, checking out cosplayers (there werent that many, like 30 or so... or less), seeing famous people and buying cool stuff (I'm now broke lol). I have pictures to show you of course... but this will have to wait till next post, heh sorry. I'll write a summary-like post for each of the three days... so yeah.
Yesterday, I went to school... it was alright. Got back that test... I didnt do too good, just like I thought, oh well.
Other than that, torrents are still being a pain in the ass... it hasnt even finished downloading Eureka SeveN 43-50 yet! It's been a week dammit! Well, it's only 49 and 50 left now. I could watch on YouTube but I'd rather wait because it's the last two and I want good quality visuals. Heh, I re-watched 43-48 already. Especially 48... and that one scene XD
Anyone heard of Fate / Stay Night? The pic above is from it. It's a pretty good anime series. It's about... to put it simply, the war for the Holy Grail. Seven magicians are selected to partake in this war. Each of them summon a 'Servant' to which they become the 'Master' and have them do the fighting. Saber (from pic) is one those servants. Anyway... basically, last master standing gets the Holy Grail and gets one wish granted. Sounds cool? Well, check it out. Oh, Jouji Nakata (Alucard's VA) is in it too.
