Updating two days in a row? Lol. Well this will be a rather short post. I just wanted to thank everyone for the birthday wishes, so thanx! Heh, nothing much happened for my birthday tho but hey, it's alright.
Other than that... there's something I forgot to tell you guys heh. Here's the thing, this weekend is gonna be a 3-day one because monday is Labour Day over here. What's the big deal you ask? I'm getting to it. Okay, remember last year (if you knew me back then) around the same date, when I went to the anime convention? Well, they're doing it again this year and it's gonna be over the weekend. And I'm going of course. ^^ So I shall have a great weekend. Oh yeah, there's gonna be celebrity guests... and among them is Summer Glau, best known for the role of River from Firefly. If you wanna know more about the expo, you can check out the website here.

Hey, what's up? I'm alright... got a little bit of a sore throat but nothing too bad. I blame the weather... it's been switching from sunny to rainy these last dew days. Meh. Other than that, school's been... school, 'nough said. The end of the semester (and of the year) is closing in quick... know what that means? Exams. But let's not think about that.
MyO was down last sunday... right during my visiting hours and I couldnt get to sites. Heh, and I had this long post about the Blindspott concert, oh well. Kudos to those that read it all tho.

Nanashi finally released eps 43-50 of Eureka SeveN! I started downloading yesterday but the torrent decided to act up again *sigh* I did watch ep 48 on YouTube tho... very emotional. But I wont give away anything in case you havent seen it. Only two more eps to go!
Shinsen released ep 14 of Black Lagoon... kick-ass just like usual.
I read chap 247 of Bleach... cool stuff!

Hey there! How's it going? Good weekend? Mine was great... well last night was 'cause as you know (if you read friday's post) I went to the Blindspott concert! It was so awesome, they tore the place up! Lol. Okay, here's a run down of how it went... I'll try to keep it short. I wasnt sure of the exact location but I knew the street, which isnt too far from where I live, so I just walked there. I actually was one of the first people there. Anyway, more and more people arrived and we all waited for the gates to open, which they were supposed to at 8:00 pm but did at 8:15. I got in pretty quickly 'cause I was one f the smart ones that bought their tickets before-hand, lol. The place was pretty cool, I think it's usually a night club. They were selling T-shirts but sadly I didnt have enough money to buy one, boo. So I went directly where the stage was and got myself a good spot right up front, heh. Oh, and this concert wasnt just Blindspott but three other bands. I have no idea what they're called... I think they're newcomers... let's call them band A, B and C. Anyway, it went like this:
-8:30 : Band A gets on stage, they had everything set up so they pretty started right away. Seven guys... two singers, two guitars, bass guitar, keybord and drums. They were alright... couldnt understand what they were saying very well because their mics werent loud enough. Oh yeah, for the last song one of the guys was like "we're shooting the music video for it tonight so if you wanna be in it, you better move it" and that's when people really started jumping like mad and pushing, lol. Heh, wonder if I'm in it... that would be cool.
-8:50 : Band A finished. Time to set up the stage for Band B.
-9:00 : Band B gets on stage and they do their thing... again, bad microphone setting. But at least, you can jump and bang your head along with the music, lol. Oh! And the lead singer crowd-surfed too... twice! He just jumped in the crowd. I actually carried him... first time I get to do that, pretty cool.
-9:30 : Band B finished.
-9:40 : Band C started. They were pretty cool. Crazy stuff still going on in the crowd... people trying to shove their way through to the front while I push them back to keep my spot. Oh, haha... okay, see there's this balcony type thing where you could watch the concert from... with seats too. At one point the singer looks up and says "hey, what the f*ck are you doing up there?! Get down here you sissies!" or something like that. Then he looks back at us in the crowd and says "alright, I want you all to turn around and give them the finger!!" haha, so everyone did just that... heh, that was cool.
-10:10 : Band C finished. Oh yeah, singer threw a couple of CDs in the crowd... their first single released I think. I didnt get one... ah well.
-The set up for Blindspott was kinda long. 10:30 came along and still no Blindspott on stage. People started to get impatient and started yelling "Blindspott! Blindspott!". And then, at around 10:40 (yeah, it was that long), the stage got dark... smoke started coming out. Above the stage, there was a screen where they projected some random images... well, some of them appeared in the 'Yours Truly' video so everyone recognised them... and yeah, everyone screamed. Then you could hear an alarm sound... like the one before and air strike (if you've seen the Silent Hill movie, like that one). Then they got on stage and kicked things off immediatly with 'PMF' as the intro then fading into 'Yours Truly' it was awesome! They played 'Blank', 'Lit Up', 'Drown', 'Coma', 'Mind Dependency', 'SUIT', 'Stay', 'For This Love', 'Room To Breathe', 'Cave In'... which pretty much kicked ass and everyone went wild. But they also played the slower paced songs like 'Lull' and 'Phlex' and everyone sang along, it was great. They finished with 'IV' as the outro then left the stage... but then everyone yelled "encore!" and after a short while they came back and Damian (singer) was like "you want some more?", everyone screamed. Then he said "okay, we'll do one more... which one do you want?" and most people said "Nil By Mouth!" and that's what they played. And since it was the last song, everyone made sure to go even wilder, it was awesome. At one point, Damian came right above the crowd, kneeled down and started to lean in and eventually was crowd surfing. And yes, I was carrying him too, woot! And then the song ended. Before leaving the stage, the band members came to the front and gave handshakes to front row people... and again, I was one of the lucky ones, heh.
-11:55 : Concert over.
And that's how it went. I didnt bring the digital camera because I didnt want to end up dropping it and breaking it or something... sorry. But! I did take a few photos with my camera-phone... wanna see? Of course you do, lol. Excuse the small size and not'so-good quality of image tho.

Hey, what's up? Well the good weather's back here, which is good. Nothing much has happened... going to class and whatnot. Oh yeah, my internet is somewhat working well now... it's nice to have a decent connection speed again. And with a better connection, some more downloading took place, of course. So I downloaded the first episode of D.Gray-man (pic above). I didnt know much about it, only that it was a pretty good series. And it is... well, the first ep was pretty cool. So I guess I'll be getting this one from now on. As far as Eureka SeveN is concerned, I only saw two eps so I'm up to 44. Watching anime on YouTube just isnt the same, image quality wise. But anyway, the eps were good tho.
Last night was the last episode of Pulp Sport for this season... yeah, they only do like 7 eps in a season. Cant wait for season 5 next year! Lol. Anyway, they ended the season nicely, the episode was very funny. Oh! With special guest appearances... Damian and Marcus from Blindspott! That was cool.

I know that store! I buy video games and music CDs there, heh. I wish I could actually see them shoot one of their videos while walking down the street, lol.

Well, there goes the nice weather... it's been rainy since yesterday. It got kinda cold too. They even had snow storms down in the south island... and we're 1 month into spring. Weird weather.
Anyway, we got reports we did a while ago (~6 weeks) back yesterday. And I got a passing grade! I was afraid I'd failed that one actually so I was pretty glad about it, heh. 60 might not sound that good to you but it's enough for me. Tho it was actually a 65 first then they (whoever the grading person is) put a 0 over the 5... go figure. Oh well. And again, the teacher said that we were graded too generously... tho some students still failed it.
Internet is painfully slow. I hate it.
I reached episode 42 of Eureka SeveN... and that's as far as Nanashi Fansubs released so far. So I guess I'll be watching the 8 remaining eps on YouTube, unless I find other torrent releases, 'cause... I need to see what happens next now! Lol.

A Devil May Cry anime! How cool is that? Heh, that's the main reason I posted actually... I just found out today. I couldnt believe my eyes when I read the words "Devil May Cry" and "anime" in the same sentence, lol. This promo doesnt show much tho *sigh* but I'll definitely keep an eye out for this series, it should be interesting to see how it turns out.

Bad-ass
Hey, what's up? How's the weekend going? I forgot to mention it but we've actually been having some nice weather since last wednesday. I went to the park the other day, looked for a good spot and just lied down in the grass. It was nice... I swear I could have napped there, lol. Anyway. Yesterday I went to see The Ant Bully. Pretty good. Tom Hanks as an executive producer and a cast including Nicholas Cage and Julia Roberts cant make a bad movie now can it? Well I did enjoy it. Cool thing was that I got to see it in 3D!
Other than that... I watched a nice amount of anime, heh. Let's see...
-I finished Ergo Proxy! I saw the last two eps friday night. And damn, was it great. Questions answered and misteries solved... well pretty much, I think I need to re-watch all the eps so I can grasp the story better. It's just that a long time elapsed since I saw the first ep, lol. The 'end' in itself was great... the last lines pwn. Overall, an awesome series with great characters. You never know what to expect next. If you havent seen it yet, you're seriously missing out... so go get it already XP
-The new Black Lagoon started! It was a nice surprise when I found out. I'm definitely collecting this one as well. It's now called Black Lagoon: The Secong Barrage. I saw the first episode today. It basically picks up where it left off... so that's actually episode 13... opening and ending themes are the same. Anyway, a good episode... it covers the last part of volume 2 of the manga. Creepy twins.
-Eureka SeveN. I'm up to episode 37. It's getting really, really good now... intense. Everything gets revealed little by little. I gotta admit I was kinda shocked by a few things... but I wont give spoilers. I need to rant to someone tho XD
It just sucks that torrents dont download so well lately. I actually started downloading the Black Lagoon episode on friday... remember I just saw it today... yeah, that bad *sigh*
Oh yeah, I read chapter 246 of Bleach and wow, the end was a shocker... but a good surprise. Cant wait to read the next one! I have a feeling it's gonna kick ass.

Hey, what's up? I thought I'd update to let you know what's been going on... even tho there's nothing much to tell. I think I mentioned it last week... we had that test today. So I had to study, which is why I didnt update... kinda. Anyway, how did it go? Well I'm screwed. Yeah, that bad. I could still just pass it tho... we'll see how it goes I guess. I'm not in a hurry to find out.
Hmm... oh, something happened on tuesday. Me and my project partners were at the lab using the microscope to observe our weld samples when we hear this loud bang outside. So we checked it out... turned out it was a motorbike hitting a car. Tho it was a parked car. Dont ask, I have no idea how it happened. But anyway, then the ambulance came... the guy wasnt injured too seriously. The bike didnt look too good tho... and the car.
Other than that... still downloading Eureka SeveN. Almost done with the 27-39 batch. The internet is acting up again so the torrent's taking a while... it sucks! *sigh* Anyway, I reached episode 29 and quite a lot has happened... some pretty sad moments there too. And found out a bit more about Eureka. But you dont see Anemone much >_< lol.
Tonight's episode of Pulp Sport was so funny! Survivor parody, dog suit and electric shocks, human punching ball, prank gone wrong... haha, you're probably confused now but yeah, theat's just some of the dumb things they were up to.

Hey, how's it going? Weekend's alright I guess. We're having some pretty heavy rain at the moment tho... with a few lightnings too. Heh, one must have hit pretty close too... the flash was really bright and then there was this loud bang just a second later. Haha, and I dunno if it was because of it, but just after that you could hear a car's alarm going off. Well it's either that or a coincidence with pretty damn good timing, lol. I thought that was funny. Yeah, anyway... as you can see, I changed the layout! And first of all, credits go to Shadow, who took the time to make it for me. Thanx! Other than that, I watched some anime. Anyone heard of Wonderful Days? It's actually a korean animation movie. It's pretty good... and as you can see from the pic, the design is pretty neat. Check it out.
Then I watched Eureka Seven. The 14-26 batch is not done downloading yet but I could still watch up to episode 17. It's good. Some confusing suff happening that leave me wondering... but that's what, among other things, makes it so good... that I just have to keep watching!
I read chapter 245 of Bleach (than for letting me know Bleach buddy XD). Pretty cool.
Oh yeah, we've had our daylight saving time thing today... so we lost one hour overnight.

I thought I'd update today... while I can. My connection's been kinda slow lately for some reason and everything takes a while to load, bleh. Anyway, nothing much's been going on... class was alright and whatnot... and I was a bit busy finishing up that report I had to do over the break which is due tomorrow. I'm all done now so no worries there.
Other than that, I managed to watch a few more eps of Eureka SeveN... I saw up to ep 12 and I'm almost done with the first batch (1-13). I'm downloading 14-26 now but due to the slow connection, it's gonna take longer that expected. But anyway, the series is really good! Awesome stuff.

Oh yeah! I saw the last episode of Blood+! That's why I put that (sexy) pic of Saya up there. It was good... got very sweet at some point... then very sad... and stuff. I thought the ending fitted the series tho. Overall, a good series... a good mix of action, funny, but also sad moments ;_; well check it out... if you havent already.
I changed the music to Kiri by Monoral. This song is Ergo Proxy's opening theme. Cool song. Enjoy. Sorry I didnt find the lyrics (not of the whole song anyway)... but you can try and figure them out I guess... it is in english. Oh, and check out Ergo Proxy, this series rocks! Tonight's episode of Pulp Sport was great and very funny, as usual. If you dunno what I'm talking about, well it's a show we get here in NZ with these guys doing silly/crazy stuff. I mentioned it in a previous post, did anyone actually checked them out on YouTube? I know someone knows them. XD Heh, even the show's sponsor has humor. See, the sponsor is a radio station called "The Rock FM" (cos they play rock music) and before Pulp Sport starts, there's this disclaimer "The Rock would like to apologise for the following program. We're so sorry... so very, very sorry" and then at the end, it goes "This show was brought to you by The Rock. Dont blame us, we just sponsor it" lol XD

Okay, this is gonna be a short one. Let's see... well yeah, today I started class again. It went alright I guess. Oh, and one good thing about it was that we got our tests back... from 1 1/2 month ago. Why is it a good thing? Well, because I passed! I didnt get that great a grade but I passed. Got 63 % heh. He said we were graded quite lightly, not severly enough... see, he doesnt grade our tests... someone else does. I'm like, "whatever man, let the test-grading person do their job, man" lol.
Ah, speaking of tests... we're having another one next week on thursday.
And that's my day.

XD One of the best scene from Clerks II! Silence of the Lambs parody, lol. That movie rocks. And we both agree Shanny, this has to be the best Kevin Smith movie to date.
You'll have to excuse the image quality... but its the best video I could find that had the complete scene and was actually audible (the other ones had crappy sound).
