Love is the new Hate

Hey y'all! How's it going? Had a great weekend? Well, I surely did! Guess what? I went to a CONCERT!!! Yeah, it was an afternoon concert... only one band playing: Shihad (dunno if any of you knows them, but they're pretty big here)... for one hour. And get this, it was free!! Okay, so I get there 30 minutes early to get a good spot and I managed to get near the front... like 5 meters in... I was in the center too! So that was cool. I bought the T-shirt too!
Just before it started everyone was yelling "SHIHAD" repeatedly until the band came on stage. And as soon as they arrived, they hit it off with their first song! Everyone was jumping like crazy! But also pushing, some ppl were falling down, but got picked up soon after, no one got hurt... I got squeezed a few times there... and by the time they sang the third song I found myself on the front left (I was in the center, remember?). But, ppl werent moving as much... so I decided to shove my way back to where the action was! LOL. Oh, and did I mention the rain? Yeah, it started raining soon after they started (it could rain at any time by then)... so yeah, everyone was soaked (open air concert).
You know, this kind of event is just the kind where ppl can show just how crazy they can be... with all the jumping, yelling and head banging! Man, some ppl were jumping on my feet! Oh, and you know how ppl make this circle and some ppl go in the middle and just push each other into the crowd, then get back pushed back in? Yeah, crazy stuff... well, I got into one! I got pushed around, I pushed other ppl, that was great, haha. There were cameras and one hovering just above us (you know, cameras at the end of that crane thing). I got videotaped a few times! Oh, and some ppl were 'crowd-swimming'. The singer came to the front of the crowd a few times, I could almost reach him! Oh, and some funny stuff... I lost one of my shoes... but I managed to find it back... it was hard but I found it! That was crazy...
And it went pretty much like that for one hour... oh, after their last song, the left the stage and the crowd was yelling "Encore!" and "Shihad!" and guess what? They came back on stage for one last song!! And the crowd went even crazier! LOL. After the concert, I was soaked... rain, sweat... and now, I'm kinda sore in my legs and arms, my feet hurt a little... but it's okay. I am now a Shihad fan! LOL

Yep, well, there was no WAY I could take pictures during the whole thing, what with all the madness... it would have been cool tho... oh and here's the T-shirt:

Okay, I'd better stop now, sorry it was long but hey, I wanted to tell you all what a great time I had! What better way to end the break eh? Definitely the best day I had during the break... and by far. Okay, shutting up...
