How to tell Japanese dragons from Korean, Indonesian and Chinese is that Chinese Indonesian have 5 toes, Korean have 4 toes, but the Japanese dragons have 3 toes. And there are myths that if a Chinese dragon travels to Korea it will have a loss of one toes and when it goes to Japan it will have a loss of 2 toes if it was going from the Chinese area. And it is said that if a Japanese dragon travels to Korea it will grow a 4 toe. The great dragon had a fir and cypress growing on him. And like he is a lot like Western dragons is his evil ways.
