Almost done with Adobe Illustrator tutorials. I have to finish them today in order to start on my H&MC Poster. BTW, I am not doing a CD Cover, it's going to be a concert poster... A coll one at that. I'm glad it's a poster, because I had a bunch of good graphics to put in it, I was going to end up doing more than one CD because I had so many ideas. But since it's a poster, I'll include all of the graphics I made for it. I already started because I'm sneaky..... And anxious. Well, I have to tell you now I can't post my work in progress unless I convert the files, because when I work in illustrator, the files save as .ai, and I can't post an ai file, it just doesn't work like that,,, so I'll have to see about saving as jpg or something... Ok, hopefully next time I'll have something to show for all this wasted time.. Adios!

WELL, I had to change that because I thought the title was How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days, instead of 10 Things I Hate About You.. Sorry, mixed those up,,,,
Anyway,,, I can't use the computer at home because I'm being blamed for a malware virus that appeared on the desktop, so I can only update on tuesday and thursday when I'm at chool, unless it's urgent, I'll use the PSP at home.. So yeah, I couldn't get the macbook, so now I'm going for the Mac Mini. It cost a bit less, but I should be able to get one soon... By the way, I don't know if I told you, but my project in graphic design class is going to be an original CD Album cover of High and Mighty Color, designed by me of course.. So I'll post it when I'm done. I'm not allowed to work on it until I finish the tutorials on CS2 Illustrator though. But I did do a prototype, and I guess I'll post what that one looks like so far...

Well, I appreciate the feedback on my last post, and it's good to hear that everyone had a good day on Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Now that it's passed, I guess we have to look forward to the rest of this year, and I must say, not very many exciting things happening here so far. Only things to look forward to for me is Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and The Dark Knight. BTW I just heard Heath Ledger passed away. Which sucks. No one knows how or why yet, but there are many assumptions. I was never really a big fan, except I only really liked him because he played the Joker in the Dark Knight movie coming out this summer, can't wait.. Sucks that he died, but at least they finished the new Batman movie, they did finish right?

Martin Luther King JR.
Without this man's fight for equality and justice, the world would obviously be quite a different place. MAny things wouldn't have been made, people, music, art, business. If not for him, many people would have still been discriminated against to this day, and would have rebelled, or felt left out of society. Many things wouldn't be as stable in this country, and for that, I would like to thank Dr. King.
Hope you enjoyed your MLK day yesterday, sorry I couldn't post. And for those who don't live in the United States, I'm not sure if this celebration applies to wherever you are, but I hope it was a great day regardless.

Chicken is good, but I can't have any right now.
You see, I am in quite a predicament. Someone is selling a 1991 firebird down the road, and I kinda want it so I can have something to work on just for the hell of it, but if I get it, I might as well drive it as my primary transportation instead of my '92 ford taurus. Well, here's the thing..,.,., it's either the car, or the macbook. Artwork, or car work? I couldn't tell ya, cause there might be a way to get both... but I'd have to wait a little while... I'm stressing out over here people!!! Help me!!!
just kidding, there's nothing you can do.
Other than have a lovely frickin day ! ! ! ! ! ! !

OK. I need a fast way to make a lot of money, and I tried finding a way to do it online. Here's the deal, As soon as possible, I need to get a Macbook, and photoshop CS2 or CS3. The smallest version of the Macbook cost $1,099.99, and CS2 cost $500 with my student discount, oh, and the student discount takes $100 off the Macbook, making it only $999. So how can I afford this really soon other than selling drugs? IDK, I was looking up how to set up an electronic account online, so I can work off of freewebs with some kind of service and advertising, but I'm not sure how, or whether I have to make an account with a bank like Wachovia, so..... I am part of a union, but I'm not sure if I have an e account already, I'll have to check on that.. So I'm stuck in this financial crisis of a typical college student, maybe I'll get a loan or something.... Jesus.. Ok, yesterday in graphic design, I took that sketch I did of Kuroda(my main character) and reinked and colored him. He's pretty much done, so I'll post him below and in my portfolio...

So I'm kinda in this waiting period. You know, where I can't start anything yet because I don't have photoshop. So I have to wait until I got to school before I can start any of my works. Maybe I can at least do some preliminary sketches and scan them. That way, when I get to school, I can go to my photobucket account and download and edit my sketches.. I love technology....

So there's this kid I work with. I think he's like 16 or 17, and he loves skimboarding. Well, he owns his own graphic design company and he makes skim apparel, ads and other shit like that. Last night at work, he asked how good I was at designing stuff, and I answered, " Well, I don't like to brag, but I can design some pretty sick shit," Well, you guys haven't seen half of the stuff I did in graphic design, you've only seen my sketches in manga and such. And I'm not the greatest master of all, but I'm pretty creative. And that's all it takes if you've got photoshop. Apparently, he's gonna get me a copy of Photoshop CS3 so I can work at home aside from school. All I need is one of those flash drives, and I'm set.. Maybe two, one for him and one for class. So I guess this is really the semester of graphic design. I owe him a lot, not only for the application he's giving me, but for the opportunity to work for a real company. That's resume content if you didn't catch that. So I guess I might be posting some of the stuff I design for him as well as classwork. I need to start making a schedule for work, class, and his company, so I have time to do it all before the deadlines. You know what that means? Less Wii time..... Waa. I'll get over it.

Graphic design class pwns! Getting to draw manga and/or anime characters in sophisticated software is awesome. Expect to see my progress throughout the semester here on my site. Hopefully I'll get to post some of my class projects if I can shrink them, and other extra works. I'll be expecting criticism on my schoolwork friends!! Only if you want, that is. Thanks if you can. I'll let you know when my stuff is posted. Thanks for visiting. I was thinking about posting short chapters each time I log on. I used to do that back when I first started here on myo. Maybe I'll write up my exhaggerated autobiography for you. Or one of my stories, whichever I decide to work on.
P.S. I highly recommend most of the songs on my playlist. A lot of good artists. I couldn't find any good versions by mondo grosso, but he is one of the best house artists out there.

This is the new layout thanks to ceres-aven. I could never make anything this cool. All I did was rearrange and change some of the text, as well as my background. It's a little wierd, and it still needs some work, but I have to work tonight until 11. Plus school in the morning, so have a nice day everyone! Oh yeah, my playlist is up, I followed the fad like everyone else, and got one. I added a lot of my favorite artists. So now you know what I listen to... HAH!! east coast, holla.
