Why not?
If you have an anime that you think isn't very popular in the states, then why not share it? I may have already heard of it, cause I frequent those types of anime. So if it's not on cartoon network, then post about it! Help your fellow otaku find out about anime they never heard of.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed your helping of Haruhi Suzumiya folks. And go ahead Neko, cosplay as haruhi, everyone else in Japan is doing it!!!! I saw some pictures of thousands of Japanese cosplayers standing outside a convention center doing a dance in their costumes as part of the performance in the convention. Wouldn't that be fun? Idk, I don't cosplay. But anyway, I just found out I am allergic to canteloupe and grapes. I'm eating a grape and canteloupe salad for breakfast, and it's making my throat feel wierd, and itchy. So I'll go hungry for now.

Today's feature is a show I have been meaning to add to my have to see before I die list. I'm sure you've heard of and/or seen Zegapain.
Kyop Sagoru is a normal high school student (always high school, see a pattern here?) who leads a normal life until he sees a girl by the swimming pool at school. He soon finds out he is the only one who can see her. She is Shizuno Misaki, and once Kyo encountered her, he was pulled into a world of fighting robots in an almost virtual reality. Technically, he is fighting in an unreal world in order to save the real world. I'm not going any further than that, but check out these pictures, and links too!

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya
Todays' featured anime, a typical high school hijinks story of a super cute student, Haruhi Suzumiya. The story's point of view is told from Kyon's life, a high school student who just recently left his fantasies of the supernatural behind at middle school. Although when he first talks to Haruhi, he is dragged into a world full of these wierd happenings entailing much of his past thoughts of aliens and such strange things, with Haruhi as the cause of all of it. Haruhi is constantly joining and quitting school clubs in search of groups that interest her, but only finds dissapointment every time. She eventually makes a club of her own, and drafts Kyon as the first member. Eventually, Haruhi drafts more members into the SOS Brigade, and little do either Kyon or Haruhi know, that every member recruited is a supernatural thing! Scary huh? Well, that's the irony of the story, and here are a few pictures!!

well well well...
It seems I don't have as many readers as I used to have. I think the last post was about as interesting as they'll be for the rest of the year until the presidential election of 08. Jk, anyway, I have to work tonight, so I had the morning to myself to try to get some stuff done. Well, I beat the first part of silent hill origins for the psp, and man that game is creepy. Those nurses are just as scary as they were in the movie. That is a game well worth the price. I think I'll tell the peeps on playstaion.com and blog about it in the forum later.
Scanner issue:
I have to find a way to get my scanner connected to the computer I'm using right now because it's the only one that gets internet connection. Anyone have any ideas for fan art? Maybe I should do something original. I think adam should make a folder system in the portfolio so you can make different albums. That way I can make a section for my manga characters. Oh, btw, I'll have to show you some sketches of my renewed manga lead kuroda. Originally named shark, and the reason for my username as I have mentioned before. I redrew and renamed him, and maybe if I can find it, I'll show you the first drawing of him ever!! It's so funny looking, I expect you to shit yourself when you see it.... I still get a kick out of that one.

what is it with avatars these days!?!?!?
Well, just partially finished the new theme, and my avitar won't come out. Is misaki just that sad that she doesn't want to leave? I uploaded my gundam face image a billion times, and yet there she stays. She must not want to go I guess.... Oh well. I'll try to convince her to leave later. I posted some junk in my intro. But don't bother with any of them unless you love gundam, and you are willing to do a lot of searching and problem solving in order to understand the site. They're all in japanese except sweatdrop studios. So if you are really determined to get into what is going on in Japan with Gundam 00, then go right ahead. But I'm probably talking to a wall of fruits basket, chrono crusade and midori days, because I'm sure none of you who frequently visit even enjoy Gundam that much to visit those sites. By the way, sweatdrop studios is a forum-based online community for manga artists. Where you can go to get help from other accomplished artists, and help develop yourself as such a Manga-ka. Well, that's it today kids. What else do you want for free? Seriously, let me know? I'll take care of it for you. Questions? No? I thought so. Ok fine then, before the feature anime I'd like to ask an important question:
What did you think of Toki Wo Kakeru Shoujo? The last feature film I posted. Did it make you want to see it or not? Be honest. I'm an adult, don't humor me. I won't cry unless you insult my taste in anime, jk.

last day...
Today, is the last day of exams for me, and I can't wait until the day is over. I have to finsish my algebra exam and go to work all night,. Fun eh? well no it isn't.. I miss being an innocent otaku with nothing else to do but draw horrible renderings of anime characters and write shitty fanfics... whatever happened to those days? I'll tell you, I grew up... Just kidding, I'm not as mature as I should be at my age. Anyone else notice that? Well I have, and the first step to fixing a problem is admitting that you have one, and let me tell you, it doesn't help at all admitting it... I am a horrible procrastinator. I sat down twice yesterday to draw and never finished the same picture I was working on twice. It's still not done.. You know what I did instead? I played Medal of Honor Heroes 2 online. And guess what? I'm in 208th place. w00t. Btw Merriham Webster's dictionary named w00t the word of the year. If you want,click here to go to the page with the article if you have time.....

I need to get to work...
Tomorrow, I'm going to try to get my new theme done. I have no school or work, so it's technically a day off for me. Wow. I'm in like 300 something place online in Medal of Honor Heroes 2 right now. So I pwn.Got no questions for you, but if you have any for me let me know! Btw, I'm going to try to add in some more art. I know I had those requests, but I never had any paper to draw on. Plus I need to find a way to use my psp to transfer my pictures from my desktop to the desktop computer that has intenet in the house.
Anyway, instead of questions, we have a feature presentation of an anime movie called "Toki O Kakeru Shoujo, or The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. You may not have heard of it. I learned of it through Newtype Magazine. So lets explore it shall we?
This is another title added to my" Have to see before I die list. I don't know much about it other than what other sites posted about it.
Makoto Konno on the DVD Cover
The show is often referred to as Tokikake. It is the story of Makoto Konno, a high school girl who obtains the power to jump through time. She begins using the power to get good grades on tests and avoid being tardy in class. Then she discovers that her powers can affect others negatively, and her aunt tells her that she did the same thing when she was younger. Eventually, Makoto learns she can only go back in time a certain number of times. Makotos' friend Chiaki seems to be in love with her, and Makoto recklessly uses her last leap to prevent Chiaki's phone call with a confession of his love for her. Instead of saving her friends from a fatal accident that should have killed her, Makoto wasted her powers, and then Chiaki reveals a secret he kept from Makoto the whole time. But that is a spoiler, and for those who want to watch it if you can get your hands on it, I won't ruin it. I already ruined it for myself, but that's a small sacrifice I had to make to bring you this piece.
by the way! L'Arc~En~Ciel did the new theme song for Gundam 00!! Yeah, you didn't know did you? It's called Daybreaks' Bell. You probably already heard it though if you're a fan of the band.

yesterday was a holiday?
According to G4TV, yesterday was International Ninja Day! Can you believe it? Ninja's have a celebrated holiday! That is seriously the coolest. If you missed Attack of the Show on G4, you missed the funniest episode yet. They had a guest host on the show. It was Ninja, from ask a ninja.com! He was actually pretty funny. As funny as a full-character, I-believe-I-am-the-character-for-real cosplayer. Everything he said had to do with ninjas. So I hope you all had an extra-stealthy ninja day. And next year on December 6th, eat chinese and sneak around everywhere. Ok?
No real new update on everything because I have two hours to try to get all of my homework done because today is the last class day of the semester. And I work all night tonight, so until next time.... More questions!

Exam Hell
I have exams on Monday and Wednesday next week. Which means winter break soon. What to do? I'll tell you. Other than my new theme coming up that I always talk about, but never change, I will educate some of you in the ways of Anime. Actually, I'm just going to introduce, and maybe provide, a new anime every so often. Yeah! Maybe you have never heard of it? Maybe you only heard the title. OR you always promised yourself you would get around to reading it, but never did? Well, that's what this site is for, and the reason why I'm here. I have been so busy lately that I forgot how much fun it is to enjoy anime without worrying about work or school too much. I haven't got into an anime since Ergo Proxy at the beginning of this past Fall. Yeah, it's been that long. Alright. I mentioned Gundam 00 this week because a friend of mine told me about it. And I have decided to chose that title as my first feature anime. So brace yourselves, because Gundam 00 is really intense, crazy, and the mecha design is insane.

check it
Lots of shit to cover here, so I'm going to organize it in an orderly fashion.
Starting with a news update. I'm changing my theme soon to Gundam 00. The newest Gundam series for those who don't know. Currently airing in Japan, don't expect to see an American airing anytime soon folks. But expect to see content here on my site for christmas season.
Second, some didn't get the Resident Evil reference I made in the last post. 4. Itchy, tasty was a line in the diary of the butler in the mansion in the first resident evil game ever made. When reading the diary once you find it, the days progress in the book as the butler's grammar changes as he is turning into a zombie, and the line 4. Itchy, tasty is the last intelligent thing he wrote before his brain went. Thank you.
3. Got some interesting topics here by three people that commented on my last post. We have to hear about three different anime: Welcome to the N.H.K., Cowboy Bebop, and Chrono Crusade.
SPOILER WARNING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let me start with the easiest and explain the ending of Cowboy Bebop to Outlaw Melfina first. Yes, I shit myself too when I saw the final battle between Viscious and Spike. WTF!?!?!? Did he just die!?!?!? Or is he taking a nap. That's the last you ever see of Spike Spiegel in the series is his bitch ass drop dead. That is what the creator wanted fans to do was make inferences and hope to god they see more of what really happened. Well, according to the director and writer Shinichiro Watanabe and Keiko Nobumoto, Spike dies. He is dead. At the end, Faye seems to show concern for Spike's future, and they make it look like she has it for him, but that is irrelevant. Spike is still in love with Julia, who got shot and killed, as you probably remember, and he dies like a bum on the street, nothin really matters. I know, I was confused too, and it took a bit to figure out. I also would like to point out that his death was confirmed on Anime News Network, so click there if you want to evaluate the credability.
Second: Welcome to the N.H.K. Almost a softcore hentai from what I hear, and since I never have the time to drive into the next town over to purchase the manga, I still haven't read it, nor have I watched the free episode ADV sent me. The only thing I have to say is I want to see it, and I love the artwork. The only person who can school us in the way of N.H.K. is you Neko. So let us know what's good in your next post! I'll be waiting.
Chrono Crusade. I know nothing other than it's about a nun with a gun. I think the lead Rosette Christopher is adorable. The nstory is set in the 1920's, and it is a typical lead character with a demon sidekick story. Just kidding, that type of story is not typical. But it follows their success as hunters of evil with the Magdalene Order, an organization built to bring down the demons of hell. It seems interesting enough to watch, but I don't know if I'd kill myself over it. Probably worth checking out. Especially if a set-the-bar-high Naruto fan suggested it.
Thanks for your suggestions. I hope you got what you wanted out of this post. Next time, I'll go into detail with Gundam 00. So don't bother unless you like Gundam. I'll also discuss a few classic and older Anime titles that are definitely worth watching.

Next time is WHAT!?
Well, I think there was something I was going to comment on, but I forgot. So I'd just like to express my hatred toward cheaters who cheat online when playing multiplayer games. I just got MEdal of Honor Heroes 2 for my psp yesterday, and I played online for 4 hours. And a lot of the time I was getting killed by hackers who cheated and made themselves move at light speed and use one hit kills. It's not fair dammit.
