If you make a title let me know please..
Amidst the darkness, there stood one warrior. She had
no family, and no one to trust or turn to. Or so she thought.......
After an hour of searching her feelings, she found that there was
only one person that she trusted.. Her best friend Ryu. Like her,
he too was a warrior. Though she did not have a single clue on
how to find him. The last time they were with each other, they
were fighting off the evil spirit, Takiri-Onikiro. After this, they
were separated, and their gang of friends were split up. Now,
she was alone. Her eyes felt heavy, she was beginning to
grow tired of walking in the dark.
It took her a while to get used to this routine.
Just a few years back and walking alone in the darkness
would have scared the hell out of her frail self. Yet, now
being alone for three years has toughened her up.
Through all of the self-motivation, she has prevailed
through the dark.
She had now reached a patch of light that seemed
to crawl its way through the endless dark trees, and slowly
make its way to the ground. This is how she felt...
Crawling her way through her dark and endess depression
otherwise known to her as life. Except she didn't have to
crawl through trees, and, she hasn't been on her feet,
figuratively speaking, for a long time. It had only been
three years without intelligent life. But this seemed to
be forever. The only life she ever came in contact with
since then was ravenous monsters and strange creatures.
This poor girl had never known how devastated one can
become from suffering from depression. She began to
collapse under her own weight of emotions, and silently
cried herself to sleep....
She awoke a few hours later. But, she
wasn't where she was when she fell asleep... Or, at
least if she could tell. She arose in an annoyed sort
of manner, keeping her head down until she was up
on her feet. She looked around the area in which she
was standing. There was nothing to see.. Everything
around her was white. But as she looked farther into
the distance, she could see shadows. Like a rather
dark area, that began with a light shade of gray, and
gradually grew black. Not a moment before rising, she
heard a terrible scream that pierced the still silence. She
quirked her head to her left and saw the black area
slowly inching closer toward her. This time, the black
was accompanied by another color. A really thick
crimson-red liquid was oozing out of the dark. She
immediately knew what it was. The darkness was
getting closer, so she decided to run in the opposite
direction. But this action was not assisting her in any way.
The shadows were now closer than ever,
and she could smell the blood coming closer. She
then noticed that the whole thing was a sign. The black
represented her life, and the blood was what was waiting
for her at the end if she gave up. But what was on the
other side? There was only one way to find out. She saw
that her running was not getting her any farther from the dark.
So on the opposite side there must be the light... So she
stopped the unecessary running, because even in life,
running wasn't getting her anywhere.
The entire illusion passed right through her like a
ghost through a wall, and instantly vanished into a vortex
of ebony and crimson swirls. All of the darkness was
disappating around her as she scanned her surroundings.
"It was me... I screamed."She paused for a moment
to let everything soak into her mind.. "
She awoke in the same spot where she fell asleep.
Everything was different. It was light out, and she could
see the true beauty of the the world once again. She noticed
a small river. So small, that one could cross it in about five
steps. As she peered across it, she saw her best friend Ryu,
staring back at her from the other side with a warm smile...
