part 4
Look everyone!! There's a note here from the author!!
Note: The three of them are all from a distant land where everyone posseses the lovely gift of magic..Yes... Like in harry potter, but they don't need wands..... So don't stress yourselves wondering how someone magically conjures a box of donuts with a magic spell.....
The night was short, because the three fell asleep soon after conjuring blankets and a small shelter. Mina, Yari, and Ryu, were all cuddled close together in front of a really low fire. The sun had shone its light upon the meadow once again, and brought morning to the three weary travelers. The first to awake was mina, she had the most wonderful dream. It was the first in a while, since the past three years brought her nothing but nightmares. In her dream, Yari, Ryu, and herself had found the rest of her friends in a nearby town, which really didn't exist. With this fact in mind, she labeled the dream as fiction. She sat up after five minutes to herself laying there and looked at her two friends. She knew them very well, and that if she didn't arouse them soon, they would sleep until mid-afternoon. She leaned over to Ryu, who was very still and silent, and said,
" Ryu..... Wake yourself.... "
Not a moment later, his eyes slowly opened, and he looked up at her. She was wide awake...
" Hi hi!! " Mina said cutely, keeping her voice down.
" Good morning Mina. " Ryu flipped himself over, and, putting his hands on the ground, lifted himself up.
Mina turned over to Yari, who was smiling. Which was unusual to Mina, because Yari never smiled.
" Yari, it's morning time, you can get up now... "
" Mina.... " Yari's annoyed but content tone made its way slowly to Mina, but she remembered how Mina made a habit of this, and how Yari had been deprived of this annoying, yet memorable act of Mina's for a long time.
Yari sat up the same way Ryu had, fixing the straps of her shirt, which were sliding down her shoulder a little.
" Well girls, we need to make something to eat, so I need to know what you want... "
" I'm not sure... " Mina was the only one to answer.
" Then I guess you would like to try pancakes, or something."
" I don't eat anymore... " Yari answered
" What is that supposed to mean. " Ryu questioned Yari's answer.
" I have been skipping meals to keep in shape. " Yari answered regretfully.
" Why did you have to do that, you've already been in shape for anything your whole life. " Ryu wasn't pleased to hear that his friend was afraid to eat.
" I wanted to become stronger, and more fit. "
" Well, as long as you're with me, you're going to have to eat at least twice a day. " Ryu informed Yari.
Mina was silent, just watching the other two, waiting for them to finish.
" Ok, well then I'm making donuts, I haven't had them since we were together. Is that ok?? " Ryu told them, his hand glowing, ready to make an incantation to create breakfast.
" Yay!!! " Mina shouted happily.
There was a small flash of bright green light, and a box of chocolate donuts appeared on the ground in front of them. They came in two sizes: small, and large. The three of them sat down together.
Yari reluctantly picked up a smaller-sized one and gave it a disapproving yet sad look, and bit a tiny piece off of it.
" There, I'm done!! " Yari smiled happily and grabbed Ryu's hand and stuck the donut in his palm.
She was trying to get away with it, but knew she wouldn't. So Yari gave Ryu a sad look and retieved the donut that lay in his open hand, right where she had left it.
Mina was slowly munching on donuts, watching them.
" So, are you both ready to go??? "
Mina replied with a smile, and Yari did the same. So the three abandoned their temporary campsite and moved back into the forest, which was lit for a change...
