"Shshshsh..."
That laugh...there's no way... Bursting into the room, Gabriel had assumed it was someone he knew. "Sid!?" "Shshshsh...Hello Gabriel..." The shadowy figure had manifested itself into a more humanoid form. "What the hell's wrong with you!?" Remembering what was happening, Gabriel wanted to know more. "Why are you here, weren't you back overseas, like Egypt or something, with Gauld?" Concerned about his brother, he stepped closer, hoping for an answer. Not being freaked out by the fact that Sid was...different, he let him approach also. "Well...fortunately for you, he's still around." This doesn't feel like the same Sid I know. "What do you mean fortunately? And what's wrong with you?" He approached him, slowly, and almost came in contact with Sid. Within that instant, Sid flinched as the area Gabriel almost touched was set ablaze. "Shshaaaagh! He was right!!" Sid said, writhing in pain, reverting back to a more, hideous shape. "What are you talking about!? Forget it, that doesn’t matter…you're not the Sid I know." Gabriel began to brace himself, getting ready to fight. "Shshsh, oh but I am. And you, who share the same blood as Gauld, will share the same fate and become a servant to our Dark Lord!"
With that Sid slithered along the ground, losing any real comprehensible shape, and began to lunge at Gabriel, but was interrupted by a something else. "Gabriel, wha...what is that!?" "Shshsh, how convient, another pure soul!" "Jessica, get outta here!" Jessica had felt something was wrong, and was shocked to see a mass of darkness heading toward Gabriel. In the confusion, Gabriel tackled Sid through the nearby window, and ended up rolling out into the yard. "Shshshhhh...paaaaain…" Sid began to retake human shape, looking more familiar than last. "Gabriel," he seemed to have regained some control of his mind, "your brother is in danger..." Gabriel had gotten back up and just stared at Sid, as if he was in a daze. "I don't have a lot of time left, but I can't help what I've become...a-a Dark...and this temporary recovery is only because of your power. Gauld on the other hand..." The darkness began to wrap around him again. "There's no time Gabriel, finish me, I don't want to go back to being a servant of that bastard." He let himself open, waiting for Gabriel's final strike. Confused, Gabriel wanted more answers. "What powers? Tell me what I need to know!" "You'll find your answers when you find the woman that looks like Sylva, now hurry..." The darkness had crept up to his chest, almost totally engulfing him. "...hurry up now, do it now before I lose my mind. Shshsh..." Sid had grasped his head in pain, resisting the temptation to attack. Gabriel, clinched his fist as tight as he could, and charged at Sid. Still charging at him, he asked one final question. "Isn't there another way?!" Knowing he wouldn't get the answer he wouldn't want to hear, Gabriel stopped right in front of him, and gave him a powerful uppercut, launching Sid into the air. Slowly vanishing in a white dust, Sid managed one last sentence before he was no more. "Tell her...I'm sorry for being a jerk."
-The twins predicament-
"Okay, other than the fact that you grew wings and you..." Matt said, looking at Camilla, then Carmen. "...Well, let's just say that things might get a little weird." Camilla, still wrapped in her wings, began walking towards the stairs. "I don't see what the big deal is. Honestly though, I kinda like my new look. I've got Carmen to thank for that." Smiling ever so slightly, Carmen got up and began to follow her, looking around to see if anything changed for her. With no real signs of change, she continued to smile, and began to go upstairs with her sister. Matt followed soon after, mumbling to himself. "Seriously though, I'm NOT cleaning that junk up.
Upstairs, a strange man was heard snooping around. "Odd, the organization said the tome would be here." Tome? Carmen thought to herself. I can't let him see Camilla like this, especially since we don't even know what she's become. That and he seems to know something about the supernatural... She motioned for Camilla to stop, and went on. Carmen calmly began asking the man questions, acting as if nothing is wrong, all the while looking at his neck. What the hell's wrong with me? Why am I... She thought, still looking at the man's neck. Suddenly I'm...hungry...I don't even have a taste for anything right now...so...what could it...ooooh... Doing her best to not double over in pain, Carmen continued to talk to the man, doing her best not to look at his neck. “Is something A few minutes passed and the talking suddenly stopped. Worried and concerned for her sister’s safety, Camilla carefully went to where her sister was, and total shock overcame her. "Aiiiiieeeeee!!" Hearing this, Matt rushed to where the scream had come from, and found himself at a near loss for words. Carmen was kneeling by the man, now a mutilated corpse, with blood dripping from her apparently hidden fangs and elongated nails.
"What's happening to me!?"
