Gradually slowing down...
the young man looked back several times behind him. Not hearing anything, he finally dropped to ground to rest. "Just a few seconds...it's all I need." He said, rubbing his legs, trying to get the feeling back in them. With a sigh, he continued mumbling to himself. "It feels like forever since I've been home...MY home. I wonder if Camilla's still acting like a wimp. Heck, I'm kidding myself, Carmen's probably still in charge..." Regaining some feeling back in his legs, the young man began to remember the days back when he and his sister's were living together. His reminiscing wasn't as long as he hoped after he heard a voice he was all too familiar with. "Casimir, my child, where are you running off too? This is for the greater good!"

His eyes widening, Casimir jumped to his feet and began running with all his might. Barely paying attention, he had run into a street. After realizing where he was, he frantically began to search for headlights, or any lights for that matter. D-d-dammit! W-why of all people...that's the bastard who-" His sentence trailed off as he saw some lights headed his way. Hoping for the best, he headed straight for them, waving his arms to get them stop. Fortunately, the driver stopped and was curious as to what was happening. "Do you need a-" "Please, if you have an ounce of decency, please let me in!" Getting frightened, the woman in the car began to put her foot down on the gas, but stopped when she heard the voice that had been following Casimir. "Casimir, my child, your sacrifice will not be in vain!" Recognizing that voice, the woman in the car had a change of attitude. "Get in the car, now!" Without hesitation, Casimir had gotten in, rolled the window up, and braced himself. Not moving, he questioned the woman. "Why aren't we going anywhere!?" "We may be in greater danger, but I'm not reckless!" The woman responded, pointing at Casimir's seatbelt. "......sorry." The second it clicked, they sped off, without a second look back. Feeling that they were far enough way, they began to calm down. "Where are you headed by the way?" "Campton...miss." "Hm, same here...I need to ask you, do you know the name of that person chasing you?" "...Valdis..." Casimir could tell what he said he said had deeply hurt the woman helping him out. He refrained from asking what was wrong, but as if she knew, she uttered one word. "...Mother."

-In what seemed to be an illusion-

"Gabriel! Gauld! Time for dinner!" In another room, the two had stopped what they were doing and got ready for dinner. "You heard Mom, bro, time to go eat." Gauld said as he pushed his brother aside. "Heh, last one there's stuck with dishes!" As they raced to dinner table, Gabriel's thoughts wandered. Is this a dream? ...No, it can't be, this is too real...then again... Wondering if his thoughts were the result of some type of paranoia, he punch Gauld in the shoulder. Without a second thought, he punch Gabriel back in the shoulder twice as hard. "The hell was that for Gabe?" "Heheh, nothing..." I guess this IS a reality. But when...no...I don't wanna think too much about it. Last I remember I- He stopped when he arrived at the dining, with his brother no where in sight. In shock, Gabriel began panicking at the sight of his parents, mauled in the same way they were in the accident that nearly him and his brother in also. "Oh god, what the hell is this!?" His eyes unable to look away, he ran into the kitchen, only to stumble into the darkness that was engulfing everything. As if nothing happened, he was back in his apartment, unharmed or anything. Confused, he looked around, hoping to see his brother. Before having a chance to question what was going on again, he heard a strangely familiar voice. "Everything's going to be alright, my Gabriel." He turned around quickly to see a red-headed woman, approaching him. Before she reached him, everything went blank.

Still on the couch at Jessica's house, Gabriel was sleeping a now dreamless sleep. Ambrosia had awaken and wandered about just in time to see Camilla, wings stretched out, standing over Gabriel. Not wasting a second, she had quietly dash over and slapped Camilla out of her trance. "As I've said before, you haven't done anything...until now." "How dare you interrupt me wench!" Camilla, now a seemingly different person, held the side of her face that had been struck. "It's indeed a pity that you couldn't resist temptation, you've delayed my own plans." "You have no idea how close I was to finishing mine! I was so close...so close..." She began muttering to herself looking down, and without warning, she attacked. With a newly grown spade tipped tail, Camilla got within range of Ambrosia and attempted to skewer her. Without effort she leaned to the side and grabbed the tail, and reeled her in. "Your inexperience and lack of inner strength was your downfall, foul succubus!" And with that Ambrosia had struck Camilla in the chin with her palm, stunning her. Making sure that she wouldn't try again, Ambrosia had followed that attack up with a quick spin and kicked the back Camilla's leg, knocking her down to her knees. Getting back, and her head down, she turned around to face Ambrosia. "You'd be wise to stay down creature of the night!" Ambrosia had begun another, but stopped herself short after seeing Camilla's eyes...in tears.
