Matt stared on...
He wasn't fazed at all at what he saw. As a matter of fact, he might have even said he was bored at the sight. "So...you done yet Branwen?" He said with a bored look on his face. She turned around, blood dripping from her chin and stared at him. With yet another deep breath, he raised both his hands. "Alright, more five minutes?" He said, and whether Branwen listened or not, didnt matter. She turned back to the almost completely drained body of #8. Carmen was overjoyed at her newest "friend". "Isn't this just wonderful, Matt?" She said, shaking Matt and pointing towards Branwen. "It's as if she everything I've wanted in a sister. Obedient, never questioning my authority, and a little something else..." Branwen had finished feeding on #8's blood, and feeling rejuvenated, jumped toward Carmen and Matt. After a graceful landing, she stood up, and stared at Carmen. They had begun to just stare at each other, which surprisingly made Matt uncomfortable. He had approached the other side of where the recent battle took place when something caught his eye. "Isn't that your brother over here, Carmen? Looks like he's in a rush or something." Without hesitation she ran over, with Branwen on her heels, to where Matt was and looked over the railing. "Caaaaaasimir!" He stopped, and looked around, but saw nobody around. Carmen tried again, but to no avail, as Casimir went on with Morana in a different direction. "Are we going after them?" Branwen asked, again staring into Carmen's eyes. "Why not? Let's-" Before she finished, to her amazement, Branwen picked her up and without hesitation jumped over the railing, leaving Matt behind. "What about me!?" He said as he watched them slide into the downtown area. Branwen looked back with a stern look on her face and said, "What about you?"

-------

"Did you hear that?" Casimir asked as he and Morana ran on, searching high and low for his sisters. "Sounded like someone was looking for you." She replied, now recovered and able to keep up with him. They heard a loud in the distance and they assumed the worst. "It's gotta be another one of those numbered dudes!" They sped up and began to cut corners, but with each turn, the heavy footsteps got closer and closer, and they sounded as if they kept on speeding up. "We're gonna caught at this rate!" Casimir said, preparing for the what's about to happen. He and Morana had sped up a bit more, and turned around quickly, slowly coming to a stop sliding still. They had stopped only to find a young dark haired woman had been following them, with somebody else in her arms.

"A bit fast, if I do say so myself." As the dark haired woman let the person in her arms down, Casimir realized who it was. "Carmen!" "Casimir!" They immediately ran up to each other and began to hug, as if they hadn't seen each other in years. Branwen, fists shaking slightly, remained calm and stared on as the sibling reunited. "How long has it been, Casi?" "Aww, you still remember that?" "Of course, little bro, now tell me, what have you been up to?" "It's a crazy story sis, but you wanna explain to me first who this person is?" He said, pointing directly at Branwen. Still doing her best to remain calm, being made more difficult by the fact that someone was pointing directly at her, walked over to Carmen and remained silent. "Oh, her? She's Branwen, and she's....what's the word..." As she tried to figure out what the "proper" word was, Casimir brought everyone to a shaded area and began to explain what had happened to him.
