   i had a very interesting conversation with my scanner yesterday. it went like this:
ME: helloooo scanner, why arent u working today (pushing the buttons in vain on computer keyboard)

SCANNER: u dont deserve me...
change me into a pen so that i dont need to work so hard for your dad....

ME: u wish! (slaps scanner) why cant u just work?!

SCANNER: ...no comment....

ME: this isnt a question, its a DEMAND!!!

SCANNER: (shuts down)

ME: d*mn it! now i'm late for school and nothing good came out of this time! (punches scanner)

MY DAD: (walks in) dont hit the scanner! its brand new!

ME: yeah right! (scowls)

SCANNER: (blinks on) i sure am! at least theres somebody in this house respects me!

ME: (snorts) and for no good reason!

MY DAD: huh? talking to scanners again. (grins)

ME: yeah, whatever. i'm gonna go to school. (storms out of room)
