Today, Saturday, February 28, 2004
Hey. It's been forever since I've posted because I haven't been on myotaku.com. ::shrug:: can't help it. I forget. Anyway, thanks to all you people that signed my guestbook. It made me smile to see all you nice people out there.
Anyway. It's been almost two weeks so there's a lot of catching up to do. I must say, I would love to get a pic but I can't find one small enough. u__u oh well. I'll find one eventually.
The whole week went pretty well and, as you may or may not know, the Snowfest dance was the following Saturday. (as in the Saturday before this one.) It went so splendiferously I just grin whenever I think about it. I went shopping before the dance and found a bunch of great stuff! Hooray for Avenue!! (Yes. That's right. I'm a size 14. Get over it. I have.)
So I got my dress at a Salvation Army for $30. Hooray. I looked VERY chic and VERY pretty that night. Unfortunately, my hair came out in the first 10 minutes. Izzokay though. I danced with four guys, all of them strictly friends. Of course, the 2nd one I would SOO marry if he asked me. Too bad for me though; He's a senior and I, a lowly freshman. I don't care though. So dancing with Jacques (that's his name that we gave him so no one knew who he was in my notes with my friend Sarah) just lit up my whole night. And because of that, I've been in a perpetually good mood all this week, which has been uneventful for the most part.
The other cheerleaders pissed me off again by being dumb. Curse them all. I can NOT wait until it's all over. I'm doing speech next year instead. It's too much of a hassle.
Today there was the Dress Rehersal for the Starlight Dinner Concert tomorrow. My dad was dumb and didn't listen to me when I said I had to be there earlier than he did. So then when he found out I'd missed my practice time on account of him, he was all apologetic. I just shrugged it off. Izzokay. I'll do fine. It's just piano and it's just during the dinner anyway. But still. Might have been nice to have found out more about the piano, i.e., how it feels, how high should I raise the cover, etc etc. It'll go fine. I'm thinking not all the way, but more than half. :;shrug:: I'll ask Mrs. Gehlhar if it matters. I shouldn't even be speculating. I'll turn chicken and leave it where it is no matter where it is.
But before I have to go to the Starlight Dinner (which is at my school), I have to be there at (instead of 4:00-4:30) 2:00 for orchestra practice for the musical (Brigadoon). Izzokay. It's fun! Trisha will be there and we can talk about her eskimo and my Jacques.

So I guess all in all, it's been a good couplea weeks. I gave up Beef for lent and sometimes I forget. I almost ate pepperoni on the pizza we had today. Oops! But the next time we go to somethin like Ruby Tuesdays or somethin, man oh man will I be hurtin! Must be strong though! Tomorrow I may, if I have time, go searching for a pic.    Today, Sunday, February 15
Today. The day after Valentine's Day. I find myself Boyfriendless again, but what do I care? I babysat and got $40.01. the .01 was because I found a penny on the floor and asked to keep it for Penny Day on Wednesday. My mother doesn't believe that I need a new dress for Snowfest. I do, of course. Only because I wanna look really good. It's not as if I was asked, but still. Ya gotta look nice, am I right? Jeezus, I'm having a girl day today. Oh well. I'm going to bed. Nap time!!!
