*yawn* Sorry about the lazyness in posting/going around to sites, I've just been... Well, very lazy lately xD Normally at this time of year I'd be freaking out because my brother's bday is coming up soon, but thankfully I got him his present months ago so I'm safe (some shirt from his seemingly favorite movie...) Anyway, it's 10:47 am (1:47 on the east coast, where most of my friends live) and yet, nobody's online... They're either extremly lazy or out somewhere... And due to the fact that I don't remember much of what I did in Hawaii, I'll try to give you a quick rundown on what happened at least...

Saturday (17th)-Got there, settled in, ate pineapple and chocolate-covered macadamia nuts for dinner... Then the next day we found the open-until-midnight store...

Sunday (18th)-Went shopping for stuff, rented snorkel gear, laid around house, etc. Didn't really do anything worth mentioning...

Monday (19th)-Went snorkeling at old airport/Place of Refuge, saw a bunch of colorful fish, etc.

Tuesday (20th)-Laid around house doing nothing but watching tv, which got boring eventually...

Wednesday (21st)-Went snorkeling at Place of Refuge again, swam with giant sea turtles, which was really awesome. Then I tried to swim out into the open ocean until my dad dragged me back...

Thursday (22nd)-Not really sure... Another day of laying around, I think. Or maybe I think I went snorkeling again at the same place...

Friday (23rd)-Ehh. I think it was just laying around again... I'll put kayaking as Saturday just to be safe...

Saturday (24th)-Kayaked across Captain Cook bay towards the monument and went snorkeling there. Saw huge schools of big black fish and huge rainbow fish and bright yellow fish, then a really deep part which had nothing interesting... But my arms ached for days afterwards...

Sunday (25th)-Went to volcano park, which was really cool, even though most of it was just a bunch of steam vents and craters. Also hiked through the lava tube in the rainforesty part, which was also pretty cool. But I think the smell of sulfer got to me.

Monday (26th)-Nothing but packing pretty much, except at night we went to the luau! The feast was decent, I just stuffed myself with pineapple and fruit punch... Then they had the entertainment, which featured a myth-legend thing about a princess who married a commoner, and had to run away with him (which was mostly just a bunch of dancing), and then dancing from a bunch of other islands, but the best part was the Samoan(sp?) Fire Dancing! This guy was doing a bunch of cool stuff with two sticks that were lit on fire at both ends, like eating it and doing a bunch of... other cool stuff, which was the best part. Then it was over...

Tuesday (27th)-Flew out after spending an hour in the airport because the power went out so they had to check all carry-ons by hand... >.< Plane ride wasn't very bad though, I actually ate the food (as my dad said, they can't mutilate pasta very much) and watched The Whole 10 Yards which was pretty funny for a mafia movie...

Anyway, that's pretty much it... See ya later ^_^
