   Uh... Uh... Fine! I admit it!
m: If this is about what happened a few nights ago at that bar, y'know, with you and the walrus-well, don't worry about that. We were all wasted.

W-walrus? I don't remember anything about that... *nervous glance over shoulder*

m: Well, of course _you_ wouldn't. Now, what's this confession you're going to make?

::WE INTERUPT THIS PROGRAM FOR A VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE. J-CHAN, THE VOICE OF THE MYSTICAL ORACLE OF FOLDED PAPER HAS JUST INFORMED US THAT WE WILL BE STAYING HOME ON NEW YEAR'S EVE.::

Heehee, my sister's so cute! This morning I explained to her how the horoscopes in the paper are really general so they can be accurate. Next thing I know, she's made one of those fortune teller things and calling herself a prophet. <3 <3 <3

m: Hey! What happened to that confession?!

Oh, *clears throat & straightens tie* Well, of course. So. Posting on theO is a realllly good way to get me in the 'mood' to write, which is why most of my posts are really long!

m: That's ... it?

Yep. Phew, it feels good to have that off my chest.

m: What the h--- are you talking about?! You just noticed that four minutes ago!

Hey, here's something else I just noticed. m has been pretty talkitve lately.

m: ...

Hmm... well. That's okay. Moving on. I (may or may not) be going to P. Bread with my mum & sister! I haven't been, even though it's a rather popular restuarant-trying-to-be-cool-by-being-like-a-cafe in BA. And I've lived in BA for... 5 years? Yeah, 5 years now. And also there may be going to B & N today! And buying of manga! And going to the shoe store! And buying of shoes!

Yeah. I had - still have - these reallly cute trainers. They're like Chucks, but they don't have the logo on the side. And they are black with pinstripes. Only the heel of the right one is falling appart. And the soles are pretty thin. So maybe new shoes are in order.

Let's see... what else is new? Well, C (the alternately sociopathic and quirky older brother one, not the small tap-dancing one) got a laptop yesterday. He immidiatly tried to set it up. I don't know what happened. But the end result was he completely and utterly wiped his hard drive. Of everything.

So he's working on fixing it. Which means getting my mum to do it for him. *shakes head*

Um... what else? Well, I learned this nifty technique in kung fu today. It's a way to grab and apply pressure in order to break someone's arm _and_ wrist - _at the same time_! Only, I didn't get to see the affects.

Like, normally, we practise these with a partner. So you do whatever and then as soon as your partner feels pain, they get you to stop. But L (the girl I was working with.) wasn't saying anything, so I kept applying pressure... and retrying... and we couldn't figure out why it wasn't working.

So Shi Ye R comes over, and I'm like "Am I doing this right?"
And he's like "Yeah... And it's not hurting you at all [to L]."
And L is like "Nope!"
And R's like "...That's because your arm is double-jointed!"
"Ohhh, that explains things!"
"Yes. So don't apply any more pressure or her arm will break."

Oh-kay... I'm getting some real ideas, so, let's end things with a warning.

For your mental health and otherwise general wellbeing, do NOT want to experiance what could very well be the most ridiculous piece of writing _ever_, then do NOT go type 'worst fanfiction ever' into the Google search box and do NOT click 'I'm feeling lucky'.

m: You are, I assume, completely aware that the warning will act in a reverse pyschology manner and could very well cause the reader to do the exact actions they have been told _not_ to? M? M, posion it, where are you? *sighs* Guess she's already in hiding.

   That's me looking around for the excitement of Christmas Day. That's right, folks- it's time for... M's Snarky Complaints!

(m: *sings m's theme song*)

[note to self: I really do need a theme song. If you have suggestions, by all means PM me/post a comment!]

So. Let's get started, shall we? Right. Well, we get together with the Italian side of my family for Christmas Eve/Day. If anyone's familiar with a common Italian sterotype, they'd assume that we eat a lot.

They would not be wrong in assuming that. It's all talk and food. Don't get me wrong, I love that... Once in a while. And Christmas Eve is good enough for me.

We always go over my Aunt's house. And we talk, keep small cousins from breaking your iPod, eat pasta, keep small cousins from unwrapping presents, talk, keep small cousins from running into furniture, eat biscotti.... And I loves it.

But by the time Dec. 25 rolls around, I'm DEAD BORED. The traditon for today goes something like: Open presents. (See bottom for My List o' Loot) Eat breakfast. Go to Church. Spend time with relatives................. Eat Dinner. Spend time with relatives. Sleep.
(Oh, and somewhere in between we usually have my dad & a relative running out to the office to fix teeth.)

Don't get me wrong: I know I should be super-grateful for everything. All I'm saying is it gets pretty dull after a while. So here I am typing this post up, having escaped to my room.

And, oh yeah! As a _vegetarian_ I don't eat half the stuff. And the other half, (i.e. greenbean cassarole) I just pretend to like while secretly feeling sick.

I fried myself some eggs for dinner. All by myself. Didn't burn them, either.

So... what else don't I like about these sort of holidays? Oh, yes! I'm a-l-o-n-e.
G-chan -> Disney World. (Like, seriously- WTF?! How could she do that to me? And I lost her bloody cell #, so I can't call her every five minutes.)

M-chan (the Indian one) -> Minnasota (Visiting relatives. Claims she's getting her nose pierced. Prob'bly is.)

K-chan -> Well, we all know about _that_ little predicament. (Mummy, can I go over K-chan's house? Sure dear, let me drop you off at the airport.)

Yet, I'm relativly happy with just my laptop and my heater here. I can pretend it's my apartment.

   Good Newses!
1. I FOUND MY IPOD! First it was lost... so I looked for it. When I couldn't find it, I assumed that Shadowcat knocked it down the heating vent. So then there was sadness. But now it's a fiesta!!!

2. I got lotsa manga - Pet Shop o' Horrers & Kare Kano - from the library last night. (Yes, Clucky. You may borrow.)

3. I got to eat buche de Noel (sp?) in Francais cours. (m: It's sponge cake with lots of chocolate icing.)

4. Music rehearsal tonight for the "Youth Mass" on Sunday at St. M's. Who cares if the only people who attend are:
A) two-faced preps or
B) two-face preps' parents.
I still get a kick out of performing. Plus, my newest buddy, bandmember and partner in crime, E-chan, will be bringing her awesome guitar skillz!

5. If you haven't noticed, I now have a last name, courtesy of K-chan. I'm thinking that (if) the manuscript gets published, m. saynette will be my pen name. You like?

6. And lastly... ONE DAY UNTIL BREAK!!!

My mum, sister and I made the cookies. My mummy and sister made crosses and stars and snowmen. I made two presents, a whale, a mushroom, an "M" and a top hat. And then three blobs from the left-over dough. Now I'm making Christmas cards.

(m: What the hell?! You're in the Christmas spirit! Nooooo!!!)

There, there, alter-ego. It's okay. I still did most of my Christmas shopping at Hot Topic last night, didn't I? Here, have a whale cookie.

(m: *chomp* Okay. I just worry about you sometimes.)
