   Yeah, I haven't posted in a while but...
I've been super busy - lots of orchestra stuff and DI. I haven't drawn a lot lately, but I do have two pics I'm going to try to put up here within 2 - 4 days.
One's a Valentines Day picture and the other is a sketch of a (possible) character in RavenSong. But, wow, I drew that a while ago too....
I think I'll start writing the dates on stuff I draw.

   Music...
...It's really helpful! After listening to Meteora (a CD by Linkin Park <3) two times I drew this picture that I think looks good! And manga-ish!

It's a pic of Myst (the main character from the manga that is not yet written) (because we're not THAT good at drawing yet) (but will be one day).

...But... I have a sneaky feeling that somethings outta proportion. I don't know what... but it's there! *twitch* Oh well... I'll have Sensei (Grace) look over it.

But, yeah, I feel proud and stuff. So expect to see it uploaded sometime in the next week!

   Haha... i haven't done it. T _ T
Hmm-hmm. I tried to upload, but apperently it was under the minimum amount of KB (400)... which doesn't make sense, unless that was changed recently. One of the pics i put on here was 76 KB, so why can't one of 368 go one? -_-;
Maybe's its the photoshop program I'm using?

I'm not so much of a tech person, but if anyone who is reads this, I'd appreciate it if you could give me some suggestions! Thanks!

   It has happened, in accordance to the Prophecy...
and by "it" I, of course, mean "the uploading of my sad little comic on the Otaku". When I say "sad", I'm refering to the fact that it's only a page long and terribly drawn. And it took me for-bloody-ever! But it's my first comic, so I love it! Look at it and love it too?

   Haha! I have done it!
And by "it" I mean "completed a one page comic that features a somewhat confusing plot and really not so good drawing". Yeah!

And Mandi-the-kind-sharer-of-scanner is, well, scanning it. And then I will post it! Woohoo!

So, please take a look, comment, say nice things to inflate my ego. Joking about the last one.

While on the subject of cool new things, I will hopefully be getting one of those position-y manniquin wooden things. *feels very artisty*

   Yay Me!!!
I got over my drawing block! In fact, I drew this really good (well, I think so...)pic of ... a depressed catgirl.

AND... I realized how much PRACTICE I need... (no one ever said paneling would be easy!) It would seem that there's more to manga then snazzy little pics. I was trying to do the first page of Daydreams. I failed.

SO! I decided I'm going to do a one-shot manga first, maybe 25 pages. I'm thinking a sort of comedic adventure... I like the names Emmett (guy) and Kiki (girl). Hmm...

So, I'm (coff, mandi, coff) going to try to post some stuff soon. And I DREW DARKLY! So let's hope it looks better than my first pic!

*random subject change*

I've been writing some pre-tty emo poetry, but it sounds nice. So perhaps I should put a pic with it and post? That could work... *slips into daydream*

Oh, I just want to say: I'm feeling REALLY HAPPY right now. Purring happy. And... I haven't felt that way since last Wenesday! So that's good... lalala...

   Hey, It was Christmas! Lemme tell you about mine!
Christmas was fun! Lots of family people came over to my house! Yay - I love me family! Including my Uncles! Who had recently gone to. . . JAPAN!!! *so jealous*

Plus, I got some presents!!! Rose coloured hat and gloves made from ALPACA wool (I touched an alpaca...) and black hat and gloves made from normal sheep wool... and a BERET (which was nice because my other beret is really worn out)... nothing really anime/manga-ish... um... I got some eyeshadow stuff, though and TWO cookbooks (vegetarian and vegan).

Oh! Also, I get to go so WICKED!!!! (For those of you who don't know, Wicked is a musical based on a book of the same title. Its about how the Wicked Witch was friends with Glinda when they where younger..... so much happened before Dorthey dropped in). So, be expecting some Wicked related fan art soon!

Um... I started drawing the cover of this manga I want to start posting on here. Its called "Daydreams: A Gothic Comedy" and is about a half vampire teen and a cute little kindergartener among other things... but you'll just have to wait and see!!!

So, thats about it! Oh... a couple of friends and I are going shopping tomorrow!!! On Main Street, which is home to this kaiwai little thrift shop! Yay!

   Again - A Great Discovery
It was Friday, the second to last class before Winter Break. We were not being forced to do anything so I was drawing.
And I drew a cute little 5-panel manga (entitled "The Convicts Have Escaped!!!") I had hoped to post it on here, but alas, when it was scanned, I had drawn it too little and it did not show up well! T . T
That was when I had the great revelation! And it was this: If you want to scan something, DRAW DARKLY.
Yes. I feel very clever at having figured this out all on my own.
