   animes...
HI!
well today we went to Zurich and I thought I would buy a manga, but finally we went to another store so instead I got a lot of animes... they were so cheap! (I love winter sales).
So I bought the whole Blue Submarine no. 6 series, Spriggan (someone borrowed me the movie, but I couldn't see it (was damaged)), so now I'm happy I could get it (for such a low price...9.90 CHF - hmm, ca. 5 bucks, I presume) :D
And I also bought...oh...I dunno what the english titel is (nor the japanese...I think it's called "Agito" but I have no idea 'cause the dvd is written in chinese, only the description of the movie is in english...and that the spoken languages are japanese and cantonese...well and subtitles in english (otherwise I wouldn't be able to understand the movie)...the french title was "Origin" I think...so...well, it's this movie :D). It seems to be an interesting anime...^_^

so I did the best to keep me away from drawing, lol. I hope I can get some pictures until monday :D

   colors...
thank you just.me, I think you're totally right...! well, unfortunately I finished it yesterday, but it's not so bad. I wish I had made another combination, but I can use the combination I have in mind another time ;)
On monday next week I should be able to use the scanner of someone I know, so I'll try to do as much drawings I can until then...I'm curious about your opinions! ^_^

   lucky...
hehe...yeah, we're lucky people :p
I'm working on a colored picture now...it's quite difficult, 'cause I'm not sure what color to make the clothes and so on (and sometimes I just don't find the right color), but I hope you'll find it good (if I ever am able to upload it - damned scanner!)

   vacation :)
like you, just.me, I've also got vacation (semester vaction, 5 weeks ^_^)...
thuogh I'll have to read several books to write a work about somwthing of the japanese history between 1600 and now, I won't have that much time to do more drawings, but I'll give my best :D

   new pics
yesterday I went to a classmate whose scannner DID work, so I could post some pictures. There all quite new, but only the one with the group is a picture I really spent time doing it. The other were kind of...well...they don't look finished to me at the time being, but I hope you find some of them good. For the last one I have to say it's not really finished. I made while I had to wait on the train at the university...copying from a statue nearby. But still it looks sorta strange (maybe because the statue had no head, so I had to begin with it like I thought it would be...so obviously it doesn't look thaat good...I will try to make a better one of this picture. also, because I was waiting for the train I only had checked paper...). I wanted to post more pictures, but I wanted to do some with color...and this will take some time to do them, I think ^_^

   so...
thanks just.me! it wasn't easy, but somehow I did it...(there were some poor poeple in my class who didn't pass in ANY exam...but mostly poeple did well - probably you could do fine if you were in class and did some of the homework...).
today I'll probably can scan some pics at a friend (unfortunately none with color, because I hadn't had the time to do it), but I hope you'll find some pics good ^_^

   exams....
yeah...so I passed all exams :) I'm very happy, I thought after the grammar exam that japanese was definitely something I would never learn properly, but it seems that I didn't do sooo much faults...^_^
So I have finally time to draw some pictures! *yay* only problem I have is that my scanner is still...well...sorta unliving being which won't react to any of my tries to resurrect it...:(
but I hope I can handle it...sometime soon...

   scanner...
soo...just found some good pictures yesterday, but I found out that my scanner isn't working :( so I can't upload them for a while...T___T
but as I'm stuck with so much Japanese grammar and kanji, I think it's good it isn't working...hehe.
I hope you'll nevertheless come around in the future!!! ^^
I will update my pics as soon as possible...(the exams are coming now...the class is totally horrified, because we only have the next week left to study every text and all the kanjis and the grammar...but as there is the possibility to do the exams you failed in a second time, some poeple are still afraid but a little bit encourged that they can make up for it the next semester...I hope I won't have to make many exams twice...(if you don't pass the second time, you can't study the subject anymore...T_T).

   inventing and copying
hehe, yes, you're totally right! At first I began with copying Sailor Moon (the positions, mostly), and then after a while you develop your own style...;)
When I see some poses or faces, whatever I like very much on a picture, I sometimes copy it and modify it that way that it's the character of my story or I change the cloth...there are plenty of possibilities regarding this...^^

I will try to put some colored in, though.
hmm...maybe it's because they're original anime (mostly, at least...it's because I don't like to copy the charcaters from other people, I rather invent them myself...). ^^
